Quincy's POV

Damn, it was these guys. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone really strong went after me and it looks like these guys are just that. As the two attacks zoomed towards us, the Gym Leader said "Go! ! Psychic!"

A mime Pokemon appeared from her ball and then the Pokemon cast a wave of Psychic energy stopping the attacks. Zandred scoffed and said "I prefer if you didn't step in this matter ma'am. Please just butt out."

Xenon snickered and said "Butt"

Sabrina's Dad then said "You will not be taking anyone!"

"That's right!" said Dan, "If you want Quincy, you'll have to get through us!"

Liz nodded and readied a Pokeball while Zandred rolled his eyes and flicked his blue hair and said "Whatever, Xenon if you mind?"

"Yes sir!" said the blonde man,

He released another Pokemon as he yelled "This one is from a really far away Region called the Kalos Region! Go Pangoro! Destroy!"

Out of the ball appeared a large bear Pokemon like an Ursaring but this was differently patterned and it had a powerful aura around it as it growled menacingly beside the Aggron.

Dan narrowed his eyes and said "No idea what that is but Jordan go!"

Liz threw a ball and said "Shine Bright! Clefairy!"

Sabrina's , her dad's Xatu, Dan's Pichu and Liz's Clefairy stood before the two massive Pokemon and then Xenon said "This bad boy came from the Kalos Region, he's a dark and fighting type. So Psychic attacks wont work, play with me while Master Zandred talks to the girl."

"Not a chance!" said Dan, "Jordan! Thunder!"

Jordan put his goggles down and fired a powerful balst of voltage at the two large Pokemon but the two took it as if it was nothing and the Xenon laughed and said "You want her? Get through me."

Liz narrowed her eyes and said "Its four against two, we can do it."

"But those Pokemon are obviously powerful," said Sabrina, "Against one we could but against two I'm not so sure especially if that panda like Pokemon is there and I don't even know how to deal with it yet."

Sabrina then said "We have to try, all together now! Focus Punch!"

"Jordan! Extreme Speed and land a Dynamic Punch!" said Dan,

Sabrina's dad nodded and said "Let us cover them! Xatu Psybeam!"

"Right!" replied Liz, "Clefairy use Solar Beam!"

Two ranged attacks zoomed forward while Xenon said "Boring! Aggron! Iron Head! Pangoro! Detect and then use Hyper Voice!"

The Aggron ran forward and met the two ranger attacks with no trouble with its head causing it to explode on contact and then he smashed its head on the sending it back.

Pangoro then blinked as he turned to the right as he swatted Jordan out of the air and then he roared a powerful roar that sent the little electric type into the air then crashin onto the ground.

Xenon chuckled and said "You don't stand a chance! Aggron is absolute defense and Pangoro is absolute offense!"

Dan glared and whispered "Connor where are you?"

-With Quincy-

As they others battled, I stood face to face with the blue haired teen and then he said "I know you'll want to battle but come on, I have a show to watch. Easy way or the hard way?"

The nerve of this guy, I picked a Pokeball from my belt and said "Guess?"

He shrugged and said "Oh well, I didn't want to humiliate you but fine. Rhyperior stand ready."

The large rock type roared and stood ready while I threw a ball and said "Dex Call of the Heavy Metal!"

My trusty metal type appeared on the field while Zandred made a farting sound with his lips and said "A pre-evolved Pokemon? Do you take me this lightly? Whatever!"

"Oh he's plenty enough," I said, "Dex use Psybeam!"

"Rhyperior Rock Polish and slide away." Said Zandred with no enthusiasm,

The Pokemon, fatser than any rock type should be, slid away to dodge and then he locked his arm forward and said "Rock Wrecker Rhyperior!"

A powerful rock shard smashed on Dex as he skidded back in pain and blast after blast pelted Dex as I then said "Hang in there! Use Psychic as a shield and then use Meteor Mash!"

The Steel type did as I told and he smashed his fist on Rhyperior's face sending it back crashing on the wall and then Zandred said "Good move that actually hurt my friend but now it's our turn to hit back! Rhyperior use Hammer Arm!"

"Meteor Mash!" I retorted,

The two colossal Pokemon clashed fists and then Dex flew away in a direction completely hurt by the powerful attack while the Rhyperior stood there grinning as if it wasn't even hurt.

Zandred grinned and said "Rhyperior is trained to commence an Iron Defense whenever a powerful clash happens, it is his instinct, and you won't win like that."

I saw Dex slowly get up and I said "Dex! Just endure for some more! Take Down Meteor Mash!"

The steel type bravely charged forward while Zandred said "Rhyperior one more Rock Blast!"

The Rhyperior shot a blast of stone at the steel type making it explode and crash on the wall. Dex strgulled to get up as I said "Dex! No! Get up!"

My steel type groaned and then started to glow a bright light, before I knew it, his pointy metal nose had turned into a steel X and he grew bigger as two more metallic limbs sprouted from behind.

"Metagross!" yelled Dex as he glared at the Rhyperior,

I cheered as I flicked my red hair and said "That's right Dex! Fire a Flash Cannon!"

Zandred growled and said "This could be a problem, Rhyperior use Stone Edge!"

The two attacks were now evenly matched as the explosion harmed no one and then the blue haired boy said "Rhyperior! Giga Impact!"

The Rhyperior charged while I said "Dex! Don't charge in! Keep weakening him with rapid fire Flash Cannon as he comes close and then take him down with a Meteor Mash!"

Dex nodded and launched beam after beam of Flash Cannons weakening the Rhyperior but when he came close enough and before he smashed his body into Dex, the steel type smashed his head away with a Meteor Mash sending the Rock/Ground type behind Zandred with swirls for eyes.

The blue haired teen remained silent while I cheered and then said "What about that!"

He returned his Pokemon and said "Rhyperior was the weakest and most pathetic anyway. I'll deal with him later but for now, say hello to my next and one of my most powerful Pokemon, Khangeskhan!"

The large brown normal type roared as it came out of its ball. The baby was in its pouch and stupidly I said "You expect that to beat me?"

"Do not underestimate my Pokemon's skill." Said the bluenette, "She is a trained warrior, like this. Khangeskhan, deliver our friend a Focus Punch."

In a brown blur, the Khangekhan was gone and it smashed its glowing fist on Dex's head knocking him out cold. Zandred immediately returned his Khangeskhan and said "See? She is very powerful but too bad she cannot fight right now so let us continue."

I grabbed a ball on my belt after returning Dex and said "You're on! Jethro! Call of the Ancients!"

My friendly Hydregion burst out of its ball and roared at Zandred but the guy just yawned and said "Weavile! Rip and rip!"

The little devious devil of an ice type popped out of his Pokeball and bared its fangs at Jethro who narrowed its eyes at it and then I said "Flamethrower!"

Jethro fired a torrent of hot fire towards the Weavile but then my opponent said "Cool it off with a Ice Beam!"

The Weavile fired an Ice Beam from its claws and then the two attacks collided in a struggle for power. The two dropped their attacks as Zandred said "Weavile, land a Slash attack!"

The little Pokemon vanished and then re appeared behind Jethro and delivered a punishing slash that knocked Jethro down to the ground, the Weavile flipped in the air as he then said "Ice Punch!"

Weavile smashed it's frozen fist on Jethro's back causing him to roar in pain and I could only watch as the Weavile repeatedly smashed his frozen claw on my friends back with a sadistic smile.

"Jethro NO!"

The Weavile chuckled with each hit and then he even twisted his claw around causing Jethro to give a roar of pain and I had no choice but to recall him. I looked at the ball and said "Rest up buddy."

Zandred looked at me amused and said "Well? Next?"

I could only growl and said "You'll regret that"

Connor's POV

I ran.

That was the best I could do. I had to get to Quincy and I felt her presence at the local Gym and I could sense there was a battle going on.

I ran through a crowd of shoppers and leapt over a bench as I zoomed through the street. I only had one Pokemon with me right now and he isn't exactly helpful so as I ran I focused my mind to speak with a friend and thought "My friend"

"Yes," replied a female voice, "How can I help you Connor?"

"I am in need of your help," I replied, "please call for Animus and Arthus while I try to make it in time."

The female voice said "I shall be on it Connor, Godspeed."

The voice faded away and I least I knew I could count on her. I ran forward faster and faster and faster until I ran into someone and we both fell to the ground. He wore a checkered polo and a fedora. He scowled at me and said "Watch it loser!"

"I am very sorry but I have to go!" I replied as I ran,

He growled and said "Get back here you punk!"

I didn't turn back as I ran and then I came in front of a gym where a crowd of people stood. Smoke was coming from inside and there was a hole in the roof where the smoke came from.

I cut through the crowd and said "Excuse me, pardon me, sorry!"

I was stopped by Officer Jenny who said "Don't go in there! Team Gamma is in there and we are calling for help."

"I can help," I replied, "Let me through miss, please."

"I can't allow that," replied Officer Jenny,

I sighed, slipped off my shades, looked into her eyes and said "I will pass through"

"You will pass through" she replied as she stepped out of the way,

I ran past her with my only Pokeball ready and then as I entered, I came face to face with a woman with neon green hair smiling at a group of unconscious Gym Trainers. I narrowed my eyes as I noticed her metallic suit had the emblem of Team Gamma on it and I said "Excuse me miss can I politely request for you to set them free?"

The woman looked at me with golden eyes and said "Why aren't you a cutie, but I don't think so cutie. I am getting paid for this so I can't."

"I don't want to use force ma'am" I replied,

"Please," said the lady, "I don't want to humiliate you."

"By all mean" I replied,

She smiled and said "You have spunk cutie, fine. Hitmonlee!"

Out of her Pokeball appeared the kicking Pokemon Hitmonlee. I had no choice, if I had to go through, I had to beat her so I clutched my Pokeball and said "If I win this then I pass through?"

She nodded and said "Whatever Cutie"

I sighed and threw the Pokeball and said "Go! Hexar! Let's Rocket!"

Out of my Pokeball came the evil and malicious Spiritomb I saved from death's clutches. The Pokemon roared its name and yelled "You filthy wretch! You will regret calling on me!"

The Hitmonlee raised its eye as the woman said "Before this battle starts cutie my name is Neon, a Lieutenant of Team Gamma! Hitmonlee use Blaze Kick!"

The fighting type flew towards Hexar but the Spiritomb stopped it in mid air and said "You sent me to fight this pathetic opponent? Where is that golden dog! I want to destroy him!"

The Pokemon then started to strangle Hitmonlee with his Psychic powers and then Neon gasped and said "Hitmonlee hang on! Scolipede Gunk Shot!"

The giant bug type came out of the ball and shot a blast of poison at the Spiritomb but the Pokemon only roared in anger and said "You annoying insects!"

He flung Hitmonlee at the Scolipede causing them to crash into each other and then it launched a powerful Hyper Beam that knocked out both Pokemon. Neon was surprised and said "I have no chance here! I'm out!"

She then jumped into the air after throwing a Pokeball as she was picked up by an unknown Pokemon and flew away. I couldn't rest yet since the Spiritomb was in a rampage; I raised my arms and said "Calm down Hexar!"

The Spiritomb merely roared again so I had no choice and then raised his Pokeball and said "Return!"

He was then sucked inside the Pokeball as the sphere shook violently as it yelled curses and anger at me. I sighed and said "Not my best plan"

I approached the trainers and said "Are you chaps okay?"

A girl nodded and said "Yes but Sabrina is still in there!"

I nodded and said "I shall aid her, get out of here with the others."

She nodded and then as she opened the door, a golden blur ran past her and then stopped next to me with a chain of Pokeballs in its paws. I nodded at him and said "Better late than ever my friend"

Animus scoffed and said "Good thing she informed us and I rounded us up and got here as fast as I could."

I accepted the chain and said "Lets us press on"

"Lead the way Connor"

We ran through the gym to the main battle arena and when we stepped in, all we saw was two major battles going on. Four battered Pokemon were going against a powerful looking Aggron and Pangoro while the girl I wanted to see, Quincy, was battling a blue haired guy who was ordering a Weavile as it pounded her Salamence to the ground with an Ice Punch.

I narrowed my eyes beneath my shades and said "Animus! Aid Dan and the others, you brother and I will take Quincy."

Animus nodded and ran towards the other group while I quickly grabbed a ball from the chain and said "Arthus! Let's rocket!"

My dark type warrior appeared and readied himself and said "Connor! How can I help?"

Weavile raised its claws for another mash but then I said "Quick! Extreme Speed and use Blaze Kick!"

Arthus blinked out of sight and kicked the Weavile away in one powerful fiery kick and he stood over the fallen Salamence and then the blue haired guy said "Well, a more powerful opponent takes his place."

I closed my eyes and sighed, from both sides, the real battle had begun.

With Dan

Dan saw Connor enter the room and Animus vanished and before anyone could follow, the Aggron was sent back with a powerful kick to the chest. Everyone was speechless and the tired Pokemon finally collapsed and then Animus glared at the Aggron and said "Dan, I am under your command!"

He nodded and said "Everyone return your Pokemon!"

Dan took Jordan back and Luke tended to him while the others returned their Pokemon. Animus narrowed his eyes while Xenon said "Wow! That one looks strong! Aggron use Flash Cannon! Pangoro use Dark Pulse!"

The two Pokemon fired their powerful attacks while Animus merely formed a Bone Rush and swatted the attack away and then Dan said "Get in close and use Close Combat!"

Sabrina was wide eyed and said "That speed!"

Animus rushed in and punched the Aggron in the chest, making it skid back while he surged forward, dealing a powerful amount of kicks, punches and hits all over the steel/rock type's body delivering a superb amount of damage.

Pangoro raised its fist form behind Animus as Xenon said "Pangoro use Shadow Punch!"

The dark/fighting type smashed its fist on Animus' chest sending him in the air while Aggron got up. Animus crashed on the ground and immediately got back up as he growled in anger and Xenon said "Aggron Metal Sound! Pangoro use Focus Blast!"

The Aggron's horns glowed and emitted a high pitch sound that sent everyone to cover their ears including Animus and the Pangoro landed a powerful Focus Blast that send Animus skidding on the ground.

The shiny Pokemon once again got up as Dan said "Animus is getting thrown around! Its not fair, it's a 2 on 1 battle!"

Jayce stepped up and said "I can help"

Animus narrowed his eyes and said "No, this is my battle"

The dark type backed off while Liz said "Dan Animus could use a boost, tell him to use this move called Heal Pulse, check if he knows it."

"Animus use Heal Pulse!" Dan called,

Animus nodded and started to glow a bright aura and before he knew it, the damage done was gone. He got into battle ready position while Xenon grinned and said "You are pretty strong! Pangoro Hyper Beam! Aggron Zap Cannon!"

The two large Pokemon sent their ranged attacks at Animus but then Animus grunted and said "I may need some help here, Luke! Aid me!"

Luke ran forward without Dan's consent and then Animus formed and Aura Shpere in his hand and said "Focus my student! Now! Aura Sphere!"

The two Aura Pokemon formed an Aura Sphere in their paws and shot it forward at the same time and then the golden and crimson spheres shot through the two beams and exploded on contact with the two large Pokemon.

The big Pokemon crashed to the ground unable to battle while Xenon looked in surprise and said "Crap! Get up you two!"

Dan cheered while Liz said "Nice work!"

Sabrina nodded and said "Good work indeed, your Riolu is stronger than it looks."

Luke nodded in happiness while Sabrina's dad said "We must find the other trainers in the gym!"

Sabrina nodded and said "Stay here you two."

The two adults ran off leaving Liz, Dan, Luke, Animus, Jayce, his siblings and an unconscious Jordan to watch Connor step into Quincy's battle. Xenon sighed, returned his Pokemon and said "Good luck Master"

With Quincy

So he was here, that shade wearing prick. I watched his as he told his Zoroark "Arthus! Block that Ice Beam with your own Flamethrower!"

The two attacks clashed and then steam filled the area and Zandred said "My partner seems to be defeated. It's up to me now. I'll tell you this, beat my Weavile then I'll leave okay?"

"Better hold your word," said Connor, "Arthus now! Extreme Speed and use Focus Punch!"

Arthus vanished and then landed his claw on Weavile's stomach sending it into the air and then he said "Seismic Toss!"

Arthus leapt into the air, grabbed Weavile and smashed it hard on the ground. Arthus recovered and smirked at the fallen figure and he smirked as Zandred said "Damn! You're good! No one has beat Weavile in years! I keep my word, we will battle again someday and she'll be coming with us."

He returned his Weavile and said "Talonflame (New Pokemon) get us out of here!"

A red and grey bird appeared out of his ball and carried him off while when the group turned, Xenon was gone as well and then I said "Thanks Shades I can't believe I was losing bad."

"That Weavile was powerful I felt it" said Connor, "No worries but to be safe, they are definitely going for you. It would be safer if you went with us."

"What?!" I exclaimed, "I don't need anyone's help!"

"It looks like you did to me," stated Connor blatantly,

I glared at him and then Dan ran to us and said "You really need to go with us Quincy, if you're alone then you're vulnerable. As a group we can watch for each other."

Liz nodded as well and said "It'll be nice to have a girl in the group too. I still cant believe I missed the Contest. Stupid Team Gamma."

I looked at in between them and then I narrowed my eyes and said "What if I don't go?"

"Then you don't care for your Pokemon," said Connor, "you saw how beat they were. Without us, things would have went bad. So are you joining us or not?"

I sighed and said "I guess you're right…I'm in but I don't like it."

Dan and Liz cheered while Connor gave me a nod and I thought "This is going to be a long trip."
