Lenny's POV

It was a rainy regular summer day. I had nothing to do as usual so I was just randomly sitting down on the couch in the garage. But, out of no where I heard my Mom yell for me and my sister."Lenny! Laney! You got a call!" I walked inside to see my mom standing there like a ghost. "Mom? Are you alright?" She just gave me the phone and walked upstairs. I put the phone on speaker as my sister came in. "Hello?" "Hello my son, how's Lanabeth and Micheal?" I almost broke the phone as the voice of my father went through the line. I looked over to my sister to see she was frozen like ice. Her face lost color and her jaw drooped. "Father." I put all the poison I had into the one word. "I thought a part of the divorce was that you can't talk to any of u-?" "Face to face son. Not over the damn phone you idiot." I slammed my fist on the table next to me. "You really want that 'Medicine' to go to it's ultimate state huh?"I heard the deep throat chuckle that I long lost forgotten. "Father. You are a demon you know that right?" I smiled as my sister backed me up. "Quit being so cold Lanabeth. No man likes that in a girl." I watched as my sister's fist curled up. "My name is Laney not Lanabeth and I'm not the one that's cold you son of a-." All we heard was a buzz from the other line. "The bastard hung up." I hung up the phone and put it on it's charger before walking up to the red painted wall. "What are you doing?" I put my finger up to get her to quiet down. I automatically punched the wall with all my might leaving a gaping hole in the wall. I could feel blood drip down my fist but I didn't care. I needed to get away from everyone for right now. "I'll be back." I opened the green door with my good hand and ran out in the summer rain. I could feel the pain in my hand as rain hit it but I didn't really care. I noticed a flash of blue before I kept running. I didn't know who or what it was so I just kept up my power run.

Carrie's POV

I was just walking down the street to go to the library to learn more about these 'Rock Gods' Laney,Lenny and Corey believed in. I looked at the book before I seen Lenny running down the street. No hood on, blood on his fist and a anger spread across his face. "Not good." I started running after him after I put the book in my blue hood's pocket. I followed him for about thirty minutes before he decided to stop by the forest. He punched a tree before screaming. He used the bleeding fist instead of his good one. "Why do the damn Rock Gods hate me so?! First I have to move from the beaches to the snow, get a crush on a girl I only knew for a few weeks, now my father is mixed into this!" He kicked the tree this time. Some of the bark was taken off. I walked up behind him as I put a hand on his shoulder. Right then I noticed his gem green eyes went red but he was frozen in place. "Lens?" He turned to me with his hair was laid down, the back tank top he had on was sticking to him, and his black shorts were soaked along with his combat boots. "Care?" His eyes were still red when I caught a glimpse at his hand. It was cut up and bleeding and it seemed pain full. I grabbed his good hand and started to pull his back down the street. "For the love of Rocklympous Lens! Your bleeding and you decided to punch a tree in the dang rain. I think it's about time to get you cleaned up."

Back to Lenny's POV

Carrie dragged me to her house and pulled me up her front door steps. "Wait." She was about to open the door when she turned to me. "What is it Lens?" I gave her a confused look. "You believe in Rocklympous?" She just smiled and pulled me into her house. "No duh Lens. Do think I wouldn't of heard of them by now?" She walked into her bathroom after she made me sit on her couch. "Make sure you don't touch the couch with your bad hand. My Dad would freak if he seen blood on it." I smiled and nodded as she walked in carrying a white box with a red cross on it. "Hold your hand out." I did as so as she clean my cuts with disinfectant, it kinda stung but it was no big deal. She rubbed alcohol on the cuts and then wrapped it up with gaze. I smiled as she finished. "Thanks Care." She smiled and then hugged me. "Don't make me worry like that ever again Lens. You almost gave me a heart attack when I seen you running down the street with those horrifying cuts." She gave me a serious look at the end which just made me laugh in the end. "I'll try not to." She smiled and then hugged me again. I knew I was blushing at this point. "Good." I wrapped my arm around her slowly to hug her back, but I think it came off kinda geeky because she started to laugh making me blush more. She then grabbed my good hand and pulled me off the couch and to the door. "Come on. Laney must be worried about you."

Back to Carrie's POV

I walked down the street as Lens followed me. I held onto his good hand so he wouldn't run off and punch another innocent tree. We reached his house to soon in my opinion. When we stopped I noticed I was still holding his hand. I blushed before letting go. "Thanks again for the help Care." I smiled and hugged him. "No problem just don't do that again." I could tell he was trying to hide his laughter thanks to the vibrates of his chest. "Don't worry. I promise I won't punch another tree with a cut up hand." I looked at his and rolled my eyes before he laughed again. "No Lens." He gave me a confused look. I looked him right in the eyes and put my hands on his cheeks. "I mean I don't want you running off in anger. You can get your self hurt. You don't have to be alone to calm down and you can't let what ever is in your system control you. You have a brother, sister,a mother, and friends to help you through it. So please don't run off and do it alone." He looked at me with sad eyes before hugging me. "I promise I won't." I hugged him back as the rain picked up. I let go of him and as I began to walk back home he grabbed my wrist. "Wait." I looked at him as he smiled and kissed my cheek again like before but this time he didn't run off. "Thanks again Care." He let go of my wrist as he walked into his house. I stood there frozen and blushing as dark as a rose. "No problem Lens." Were the last words I said before I started to walk back to my house. Good thing no one else seen that... I hope.
