Laney's POV

It's been two days since Lenny put a hole in the wall. We were BOTH grounded because I didn't stop him and Lenny broke the dry wall. So were locked in our bed room for three days. TWO DOWN ONE MORE TO GO! Lenny has been acting like this is like school, a prison cell that no one can escape. Maybe because he wanted to see Carrie again. *Mental smirk* I seen what he did two days ago. I didn't know my brother actually had a heart. I looked over to my brother as he played the guitar notes to All Signs Point to Lauderdale by A Day To Remember. The reason why I didn't sing to it is that he was playing the guitar notes way to fast to know where he was. He didn't even stop for the clap part! "Is it time to leave yet?" I smirked at him. "Why you miss Carrie that bad?" His face turned as red as his hair. "S-Shut up! Not like you don't miss Corey." I blushed lightly. "Why don't we just drop that subject and write something for our bands?" He smirked in victory and nodded before getting out his new blue lyric book with The Newmans fire symbol on it. He got it from Carrie not long ago. It just showed us that she liked our writings. Which made Lenny to have the power to write three songs all in one day. We opened it to a blank page before we started coming up with the verse. "I would kill to be a mile away. To feel the breath you'll take. But fate won't let me. Distance disturbs me. I wish we never met. I wish I could forget who you are. Distance disturbs me. Cause we just can't connect. I found my one regret and it was you. Distance disturbs me." I nodded at what he wrote. "Good. But I'll write the first half so it won't sound too gloomy." He gave me the you-really-just-went-there? face before handing me the pencil. "Yes I just did and get that look off your face."

I wish I never saw your face
Then I wouldn't need a place to frame you in my mind
Hanging on the wall
My memories and all
But you're not tangible

Stuck on sentimental
The history we never had
Almost accidental
The way you live inside my head
And I would kill to be a mile away
To feel the breath you'll take
But fate won't let me

Distance disturbs me
I wish we never met
I wish I could forget who you are
Distance disturbs me
Cause we just can't connect
I found my one regret and it was you
Distance disturbs me

"That seems gloomy too you know." I closed the lyric book and smacked him with it making him fall backwards. "Seems like who ever said that books are the most powerful weapons in the word was right huh?" He nodded weakly as I reopened the book and handed him the pencil. "You got the rest?" He nodded again. "Not speaking to me or something now?" He shook his head. "No... My jaw just hurts from the book." I laughed as he started writing.

Separated by a scream
It's just a bitter sweet success with a dash of failure
I'm hanging by a thread
Intentions cut to shred
I'm starting to lose my grip
So someone please distract me
I need a new obsession
Am I just going crazy?
I'll never learn my lesson cause
I would kill to be a mile away
To feel the breath you'll take
but fate won't let me

Distance disturbs me
I wish we never met
I wish I could forget who you are
Distance disturbs me
Cause we just can't connect
I found my one regret and it was you
Distance disturbs me

Throw it all away
For just one rainy day
Throw it all away
For just one rainy day with you
With you

I would kill to be a mile away
Or the breath you'll take but fate won't let me

Distance disturbs me
I wish we never met
I wish I could forget who you are
Distance disturbs me
Cause we just can't connect
I found my one regret and it was you
I found my one regret and it was you
I found my one regret and it was you

"Cool writing Len." He smiled and then yelped in pain. "Still hurts?" He nodded. "Like hell." I rolled my eyes and slugged him in the arm. "You'll feel better when you get to see Carrie tomorrow." He smiled like a fool and put the book away. "Seemed like you two were getting close two days ago anyway." I smirked as his jaw dropped. "YOU SEEN THAT?!" I laughed. "Yep! Next time you want to kiss Carrie's cheek in privet. Close the window shades."
