Carrie's POV
Today was a hang out day for our band. So I decided to bug Lenny for a bit at his house because of two reasons. One: I couldn't see him for three days and yesterday he left early and two: he texted me later that day saying that he'll help me with my lyrics. Right now I'm walking up to his house with Corey who wouldn't tell me why he wanted to come along. Most likely he wanted to see Laney. We stopped when we heard singing from the garage door. "I had a blast, but it didn't last. We had some fun but it all turned around when the girl I knew, turned into a cold heartless hollow shell that treated me like old news. I don't want to leave you, but your pushing me to. I hate to say I left, but that's all I could do, when everything turned to hell, when my Cinderella left at twelve." Their was this soft instrument break after the singing stopped. I knew it was Lenny singing but oddly there were a keyboard, two different guitar sounds, a bass, and drums. "Cinderella, Cinderella, where have you gone? Why did you leave me here? I hope I see you again my dear. I want you back near me again. Cinderella, Cinderella, why do you tease me so? Oh how I hate how you do. I missed you again as everything turned to hell, when my Cinderella left at twelve." Then their was a slow keyboard part. "I had a blast, but it didn't last. So follow me out of the forest, come with me to the castle, follow me now~. My blue Cinderella. My life is finally not a hell." I was shocked at how they played through out the ending. I then picked up the garage door with Corey's help and lift it to see Lens standing there holding a double next guitar, Laney with a keyboard in front of her with a bass in hand, and Mike sitting behind the drums like normal. "Whoa." Was all Corey could say as my eyes felt like they were about to pop out in shock. "Whoa indeed." Lenny just laughed as Laney and Mike smiled and laughed as well. "Hey Care, hey Corey." I smiled and waved as Riffin did a small two finger salute. "Yo." "Hey Lens. Hi Laney." Laney smiled and waved at me and Corey as Mike got up and left, twirling his drum sticks in his hands. "So what song was that Lens?" He smiled. "It's a new one I wrote last night. Lane came up with the music part though. It's called Fairy Tale. It's not complete though. I still need to finish the beginning." He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. "That's still impressive that you two did THAT much of a song in just one night." I nodded in agreement with Corey. "I agree with him. For once at least. That is impressive Lens." Lens smiled at us with a little shine in it. "Thanks you two. It means a lot to us right Lane?" She smiled. "Yeah! It's awesome to have support for once. That isn't coming from family." Lenny nodded at his sister's comment. "True. Before we were founded everyone made fun of us for this. It's the main reason I wrote Horrible Kids. It's nice to have real support from people that treat us like family." I smiled and gave both Laney and Lens a hug. "No problem you two. It sucks to have hatters at something your perfect at. I get that. I used to be made fun of as well just because I have O.C.D and people made up lies about me bulling people." Corey nodded. "I heard a few of them. That's why the rivalry began right? I can't remember." I laughed. "Me either. It's been so long sense we fought that I forgot what we were fighting about in the first place." I let got of the red haired twins as they started laughing as well. "That's like when we started fighting with a band back in Cali named Respect The Dead. They started hating us for no good reason and we didn't know why." We all started laughing till my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket as Corey's started playing the song Stacy's Mom. "Really Core?" He just smiled and laughed. "What? It's a good song!" I looked the text as Laney and Lenny started laughing before Corey picked up his phone. "I got to go guys. Bernadette wants me home." Corey then hung up on his call. "I got to go too. Trina just got back from chasing Nick Mallory and she wants me home like now." We all laughed at Corey's fake Trina voice at the end. "Alright. Tomorrow I'll come over to your house Care and help you with your song then." "Alright." I smiled before leaving with Corey. "See ya two later!" They waved goodbye to us. "See ya!" Today was an awesome day.
