I decided to write a normal story so people won't come at me saying this is fake and everything...It's not completely normal though. Summary: When two new kids from California move into town both Grojband and The Newmans want to have one of them in they're band...But what happens when they find out that the got issues no one can fix.

41. Sickness

Hey everyone! So this is a note for anyone that has read my old story Only If I Could, I AM deciding to write a sequel for it. It should be up tomorrow or today. Other than that. Here's the next chapter of I Must Be Dreaming! :D

Lenny's POV

I woke up feeling like crap. "Ugh... What the heck is wrong with me?" My sister popped her head up to see me and freaked out. "DUDE! YOUR AS PALE A GHOST! YOU LOOK LIKE YOU GOT HIT BY A TRUCK TOO!" I gave her a death glare making her get down from the bunk bed. "You should stay here Lens. I think you're sick or a demon got sucked out of you... I would believe the last one but your still as scary as a devil right now." I thrown a pillow at her before I remembered my promise to Care the other day. "Oh crap! How am I going to help Care with her lyrics! This- OW MY HEAD HURTS!" I clasped back on my bed as Laney put my pillow back behind my head. "I'll call her and tell her you're sick. Maybe she'll come over and take care of you while we're all gone out and about." I was about to ask her what she meant when I remembered that Mom was going to the hospital to talk to , Mike was going to hang out with Zoey, and Laney has band practice with the guys. "If you're going to call her use my phone alright?" She nodded and grabbed my phone of it's charger and dialed her number. "Hey Carrie. It's me Laney...I"m fine. Lenny's not though. He's pretty sick... Really? You don't have to do this you know right?... Well thanks Carrie. See ya soon. Bye." She hung up her call and then gave me a smirk. "She's coming." She said in a fake high pitch voice. I started laughing till I felt my chest hurt like hell. "DAMN this hurts!" Laney laughed at me before picking up her bass. "I got to go. Carrie should be here soon. Knowing her really soon. Stay in here till then alright?" I nodded and held on my chest in pain. "What's wrong with me though?" She tapped the tip of her chin with her finger. "Maybe it's chest pain, growing pain, random sickness, or you're REALLY sore. Any of those at this point." I nodded as she waved a small goodbye before leaving the room. I laid back down on my bed and tried to rest with out feeling pain... Which failed miserably. I was in WAY to much pain to do anything. Most likely with what Laney predicted, this is to most likely to be growing pains. I heard the door open down stairs. "Hello? Lens?" I noticed it was Carrie. But I heard two other sets of foot steps. "Up stairs." I then heard Kim start to talk. "What are you just lazy to come down here or are you that much bent out of shape?" I tried to get up when I felt pain go down my arms. "I would if, ouch, I could." Carrie then popped her head in the door and her eyes widen. "Holly cow! She wasn't kidding at all!" She then walked over and got up on the side of the bunk bed as her eyes went serious. "Lay. Back. Down." I did as she ordered as pain shot up my arms and chest. "Ah god that hurt!" Kim then wrote something in a mini notebook. "Pain,inability to move, chest and arm pain right?" I nodded. "Um... This sounds a lot like either growing pains or it might be something in the 'medicine' in Len's body." I hated it when people told me stuff like that. It made me worry way to much about if I was gonna die thanks to the 'meds' my dad gave me. "I think it's just growing pains. But he does look awfully pale. Maybe he has the flu as well?" Kim nodded. "Most likely." Konnie then added in. "Have anything else that can help us here Lenny?" I gave an I-don't-really-know look to them. "Other then I almost felt like I was going to puke earlier. Than no." Kim then shut her mini notebook and put it away. "My prediction is that he has the stomach flu and major growing pains.I would suggest All Day Pain Relive pills and Tums. If that doesn't work lay down for a day or two and relax." I rolled my eyes at her. "Yes Dr. Kagami. I will do as so. If I had Tums or All Day Pain Relive." They gave me a surprised look. "What? My family barely get sick. Well, not as bad as this." Care just sighed. "My house isn't far. I got some pain pills and thanks to my dad, Tums. I'll go get some and come back. Kim, Konnie, keep an eye on him." She walked out with that. They twins smirked as they heard the door shut. "So Lenny." I started to worry. "Oh no." They just smirked more. "So, you like Carrie right?" I could easily feel my face heat up. "I KNEW IT! Konnie you owe me 10 bucks!" I gave them a confused look. "You made a bet on my feelings? Now that's cold." They started laughing. "We do the same thing with Carrie. Which a won again." Kim smiled honorably as Konnie hung her head down. "Wha-?" That's when the door opened and shut again. "I'm back!" Kim just smirked. "We'll tell ya later." Care then came in with a water bottle and zip block bag. "Here, open." I did as ordered and opened my mouth before she dropped the pills on my tongue and dropped some water in my mouth to help. "Swallow." I did as so. "Thanks." Carrie then smiled. "No problem Lens." We all them heard her phone ring. I should be over all the butterflies. But I'm into you (I'm into you). And baby even on our worst nights. I'm into you (I'm into you). Let 'em wonder how we got this far. I smiled at the song before she started talking with the person on the other line. "Hey Laney... You and Mike are coming back? Alright. We've gave Lens some meds by the way... Alright see ya. Bye." She put her phone back in her pocket after pressing the stop call button. "Alright, Laney will be back soon. We should go girls." The twins left first as Care waved a small wave goodbye. "See ya soon Lens. Hope the meds worked." I smiled at her and said a small goodbye before she left. I might have been sick, but today ROCKED!
