Hey readers! I had a snow day today so I might be able to update more then usual today. :D If I don't get lazy. XD Anyway here's a new chapter!
Lenny's POV
I sat in the garage laying on the couch as Lane was on the stage with her bass, plucking it impatiently. Today was appose to be the ending of our recordings but Kon decided to mess around with his brother's invention and got him self hurt yesterday so we all decided to hold the recording day back to the weekend. We only have one month of summer left so me, Care, Corey, and Laney decided to make the most of the day off... Only problem is... They're not here! Sometimes Care's late manor can be frustrating. I still lover her...Company... Yeah, company, that's what I meant. Oh what am I kidding? I can't even fool Corey with that and that's not hard to do. Why does my heart always do this. IT STINKS. This is why I hate crushes, they always end badly. If Care finds out, I'm screwed. I'm lucky only Laney and Mike know... I think Corey and the Kagami twins are catching along though. I don't Carrie will ever find out my feelings with out help though so I don't have to worry about that for a little while. I know Laney is having the same problem with Corey though so it seems we're both screwed if they find out. Hopefully they don't. "We might as well take this opportunity to practice." My sister smiled and grabbed her bass after throwing me my guitar. "Then let's rock!" I smiled and hooked up my guitar to the amp and walked up to the mic. "What song?" I tapped my chin before I got an idea. "Where is Your Boy?" She nodded and started playing her bass.
Carrie's POV
I was walking down the side walk with Corey following close behind. "We gotta hurry! They might think we're dead soon." Corey gave me a 'Are you kidding me?' look as he picked up his walking speed. "Lanes and Lenny won't think we're dead Carrie. You're over reacting... Or you just want to see Lenny?" I looked away from him and kept on walking ahead. "S-Shut up." He started laughing. "Oh stop it. We both know you just want to see Laney." He stopped laughing. "H-Hey! They might hear y-you!" I started giggling at his reaction as we walked up the drive way. "They won't. Trust me. Len's ears might still be ringing from Konnie's drum solo yesterday." I walked up to the shut garage door to hear a guitar and bass playing together. "Seems like they got bored anyway." Corey nodded as I started to hear Lenny's voice.
Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this part of town.
Someday I'll appreciate in value, get off my ass and call you...in the meantime I'll sport my
brand new fashion of waking up with pants on at 4:00 in the afternoon.
You need him. I could be him...
I could be an accident but I'm still trying.
That's more than I can say for him.
Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this part of town.
won't find out he won't find out
won't find out he won't find out
Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this part of town.

There was an ending note after Lenny's last singing note. I then lift the garage door up and walked in. "Sorry we're late." The two red heads just smiled and put their instruments back. Corey just snickered. "Yeah sorry we're late. Carrie was a little slow." I gave Riffin a death glare. "You were the one that wouldn't stop kicking rocks into the back of my legs." I felt like I was going to punch the day lights out of the blue haired boy before Lens started laughing. I blushed lightly and looked toward the laughing red head and his sister who was holding in a giggle. "So, what are we doing today?" Lens just jumped off the stage and smiled. "Today's Lane's choice isn't it?" I nodded. "I believe so."
Laney's POV
I smiled as I looked at my brother and friends. "I heard there's appose to be a carnival today. Maybe we can check it out." Core just smiled ear to ear. "Awesome idea Lanes!" Carrie just shrugged. "It's your choice anyway." I just smiled. "What you think Len?" He shrugged. "Seems like fun. Never went to a carnival before but it seems cool." Corey and Carrie gave him a confused look. "I didn't like packed places as a kid." They gave him a sad look till Carrie smiled. "Then it's about time you went to one. Let's roll!" Corey ran down the side walk in excitement... Dragging me behind him though. I think one day he might pull my arm out of place but, at the moment, I didn't care.
Lenny's POV
We made it to the carnival quickly thanks to Corey's excited lead. Care told me a lot about carnivals on the way here. She told me there were games, usually rides, and tons of candy everywhere. The place sounded like a kid's dream world. Which it seems like Mayor Mellow's Annual Carnival was the best and only carnival of the year. We ended up in the park staring at a giant banner the said 'WELCOME TO MAYOR MELLOW'S 13 ANNUAL CARNIVAL AND LONGEST BANNER EVER!' My sister stopped next to me. "Nice banner." I rolled my eyes at it as Corey and Carrie started laughing. "I just hope this doesn't blow up in my face."
