Lenny's POV
I wrote words down in my lyric book as Laney played her bass. I was trying to write a new song for Care to sing at the Summer's Last Blast that Mayor Mellow was holding in front of the town hall. But, all I could think about is the 'In Summer' song Olaf sang in Frozen... Don't be laughing right now all because the kid that's punk watched Frozen and stuff because Lane was the one that wanted to watch it, I was just pulled into it. Also, Care loves the movie and had me watch it six times with her in one day. I taped my pencil against my chin when my phone rang. Throw it away. Forget yesterday. We'll make the great escape and we won't hear a word they say. They don't know us anyway! The Great Escape was a song from when we were new to music but it still was one of our best. I answer the phone to hear Care's over excited voice on the other line. "I WROTE TWO SONGS IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS! Carrie Beff is back in the writing business people!" I smiled. "Awesome Care! What are they called?" I could hear her tap something against a table. "I haven't named the seconded one yet, but the first one is one I wrote to play for the summer blast and it's named Still Into You... Still Into You is rock but I wrote it in a girl's key so I'll sing that one. The other one is pop but in a guy's key so that one you can sing." I nodded... I knew she couldn't see me but, *mental shrug* eh. I don't really like pop but, it seems like Care was really proud of it so I'll give it a shot. "Why don't you come over, I'll call the girls, and we can try them out?" I closed my lyric book and smiled. "Sure thing Care, I'm on my way." After I hung up, I got off the couch in our living room as Laney gave me a confused look. Maybe because I jumped right out of my seat... Or maybe because I had the huge geeky smile that gave away the happiness I was feeling. "What made you happy? You know, not just talking to Carrie and everything."My smile was replaced with a blush and then back to a small smile. "Care wrote some songs for the Summer's Last Blast. She wants me and the girls to go over to her house and try them out." My sister smiled. "I wish Core could do that." She laugh for a second and then pointed to the window to her right. "Just remember to bring a hood with ya. It looks like it's gonna rain soon." I nodded and grabbed by bass from our room before putting on a red hood with the Toxic Sirens symbol on it. All it is an old fashion police car with a toxic green colored light on top. I opened the front door and then closed it behind me before I started my way down to Care's. It wasn't long till I seen Carrie's garage door wide open with the Twins already there. "Hey girls." The twins waved at me and smiled. "Hey Lenny. Carrie went to get the lyrics for you and sheet music for us." I nodded as Kim finished explaining. "Got it. Thanks." Care then came in with a few papers in her hands. "Alright. Now, because I want to give the twins a chance to know the music, I need you two to help me see if Lens can sing the song right and you can practice the notes before our next practice." The twins nodded after they got their music. "So I just sing." She nodded. "Yeah, but the sheet music for Still Into You is stapled to your lyrics." I nodded. "When ever your ready Lens."
Carrie's POV
I'm really hoping Lens can do a pop song as well as he does rock. I was surprised that he actually could when he first started.

"How was it?" Me and the twins looked at each other before giving him a response. "AWESOME!" He smiled. "So, are you going to sing Still Into You for us Care?" I nodded and jumped on the stage after he got off. I started singing soon after.

I knew Lens song that because Laney told me about a song they wrote called The Great Escape the pretty much named them in Distance records. He hung up the call and got up. "I got to go. See ya girls tomorrow." Me and the twins waved bye to him before the Konnie and Kim smirked at me. "What?" They then smirked more. "You like Lenny." I turned away with a blush on my face.
