Carrie's POV

Did he just say what I think he said?! "That poor excuse of a father is doing what with you?!" Lenny sighed. "He's coming to Peaceville for a medicine convention and he wants me to be his proof of his studies." I gave him a confused look. "What do mean studies?" He closed his eyes and 'looked' down at the floor. "My father was always fascinated by the story of Steve Rogers, a.k.a Captain America, he always wanted to be able to make a person like Steve be real and that what he studied sense I was born. After eight years of testing and researching, he decided to tested it on a real person and he took the shot of me being home sick to his advantage. So he put the shot in my arm and then blah, blah, blah, you know the rest." I fought back a giggle knowing that now wasn't the right moment. "So what do we do?" He shrugged. "Don't know, most likely hide somewhere he can't find me... But he always does." I gave him a serious look. "Don't worry Lens. I won't let him touch you with a twenty foot pole." He looked up at me with a look of worry. "I don't want you to get stuck in this though Care, I would hate to know that you or anyone else in the gang got hurt all because of this serum inside me. You guys don't need to be in this. I came here because you told me to come to you if I needed to calm down so, I did." I smiled lightly. "You and me both know we're all still not letting that psycho even in ten feet near you." He smiled at me. "I guessed it. But still, I don't want anyone getting hurt... Set for my father, he can get hurt, but if you and the gang get hurt, I'll go red eyed." I laughed a little at that because he closed his left eye and pointed at the one open to make a joke out of it. "So, how many days do we have to keep you in lock down?" He shrugged. "I'm guessing the convention is on from Monday to Friday, but he'll try getting me before that through." I nodded. "Then we got about roughly three days to find out where to keep you safe." Lens sighed. "Great!" I laughed at his fake high pitch voice. "Why are you making this funny? We should be scared right now!" I did a half hearted scream making it sound weak. He laughed lightly at it though. "Because it helps lighting up the tension in the situation. I'm pretty good at it huh?" I rolled my eyes making him laugh more. "Yeah, really good at it Lens, and that's why you came here to calm down." He nodded. "True, true. But I'm good at helping others be less stressed."

Lenny's POV

She laughed lightly before there was a buzz in my pocket. I looked at my phone and my eyes went wide. I almost dropped it to the ground in a result. Care gave me a confused look. "What's wrong Lens?" I shown her the text that was typed in red and her eyes went as wide as mine. "I'll text the gang to meet us there. We got to get you to somewhere safe first though." I nodded as she got her phone out and started texting our friends as I kept my eyes on the red text. I can't believe it. Care then grabbed me by my hand and pulled me to the back door. "We're going this way just in case." I nodded as she dragged me. Through the door and down the block till we both seen a black van following us. We then started running and thanks to both of us being on track before school let out we lost the van quickly. When we reached near my street I got another text I read it quickly and that's when I almost freaked. Care read it over my shoulder. We were going to walk up to my house till we seen a red Impala pull in to my drive way. "Seems like my text were true Care." I looked down at the text to re-read it. 'I'M COMING.' I then switched over to the older one that was a poem pretty much. 'RED OH RED, WHAT A PRETTY COLOR. ESPECIALLY WHEN GOLD MIXES WITH THE OTHER. SO MY RED LITTLE HULK, YOUR LIKE NO OTHER. DON'T WORRY, FATHER'S HERE TO HELP, BECAUSE DADDY CAN FIX YOU, NOT LIKE YOUR MOTHER. SO COME WITH ME, OR RED WILL FIND YOU, BUT NOT AS PRETTY TO YOU IN THIS FORM, BECAUSE SOMEONE CAUSED IT TO BE THAT COLOR.' "He's here... Dad's home."
