Laney's POV
Dad is getting dumber and dumber with his plans. He should know by know that me, Lenny, and our family always have back up plans to everything. So, Dad coming to town was actually one thing we always practiced for. Lenny's part is wait on the corners without being seen, as me and Mike's is to get out without being noticed and get all three of us out of there while Mom usually distracted. Distracting Dad was easier then anyone would think, especially if he's in his drunk stage like he's in now, all you got to do is just get him arguing with you and he won't leave till he wins. Me and Mike left right when we got the text from Carrie about me and Lenny's Dad already on his way to take Len. But, we all know that none of us will let that to happen. Carrie also wrote that all of us go this message, meaning Trina, Mina, Corey, Zoey, Nick, Kim, Kin, Kon, and Konnie should all know by now. Which is good for us but bad for Father but that means all of us are now at risk now too so all of us now got to leave town or the radius Dad's in till the convention is over. Good thing that when my mom called the school and told them about what's happening, they said they'll move back the coming back to school date if needed. Which is pretty lucky for us. Anyway, me and Mike were driving around before Dad came to pick up our friends that might be in danger, in the end everyone oddly fitted in Mike's car... Maybe because Trina made Mina ride with her in 'Pinktastic 2' ,the reason why she named it 'Pinktastic 2' was because the first one was wrecked in a derby of some kind by what Corey told me, and Nick decided to drive his Moped. So it was just Corey,Kin,Kim,Kon,Konnie, Zoey, Me and Mike in the car till we stopped for Carrie and Lenny who were waiting by the corner. "Get in you two before Dad's people find out where we are." Lenny sprinted to the other side of the car and hopped in after he helped Carrie get in first.
Mike's POV
I made sure Trina and Nick were still near so they could follow before driving slowly past our road, it was a bad idea. "Um, Mike? Not to be a back sit driver but uh, DAD SEEN US!" I looked to my left to see two vans beside my dad's car as his head lights turned on. My eyes went wide as I switched the gear sift and stomped on the gas. "Hang on everyone! We're going to see how fast a Camaro can go with nine people in it!" You could hear the screeching of the wheels from the next town over. Luckily Nick and Trina knew what happened and followed us quickly. I looked in the review mirror to see that Dad and his 'buddies' caught on too. "Hey Corey, text Trina and Nick and tell them that we'll meet them in Weston. Also, tell them to split up. That way, we can get rid of these demon quicker." I started going around town randomly. After Trina and Nick got the message, they split up and got my Dad's buddies as the red Impala followed us. "Oh happy happy joy joy, we get the crazy one." I could hear the sarcasm in my sister's voice as Kin, Kon, and Corey snickered. I then smirked as I reached for my sifter again, putting my thumb over the blue nitro button. "Hold on everyone, I'm going to test out my new upgrade!" After ten minutes after the blue nitro test, I then looked in the review mirror. "Good we got rid of him." I slowed my speed so none of the police would actually noticed what I did. It was pretty much quiet after that till Kin, by what I think, asked a question. "So that wacko in the red, downbeat, rust-bucket Impala was your Dad?" My brother rolled his eyes as I snickered, moving my eyes back to the road. "Yes Kin, that was my Dad. That wacko never gives up when it comes to winning a medal at a medicine convention." Lenny started laughing at that. "Especially when he knows that there's a money prize." Carrie and Corey then cut in. "Sounds like a greedier Trina." The whole car was then filled with laughter, till we all heard a honk of a car horn. I moved the review mirror and my eyes went wide again. "Oh come on!"
