Lenny's POV
After Social Studies, I could feel the lack of sleep getting to me. I almost fell asleep when started talking about Nepal and how there was some time of an avalanche on Mount Everest just yesterday... I'm surprised my mind even remembered what he said... After I grabbed my English stuff with Care, we started walking to Mr. Killian's room. I yawned as we walked, getting a giggle from Care. "Lack of sleep finally getting to ya?" I nodded lazily. She just smiled. "I think I might have something to help ya with that." I gave her a questionable look before she grabbed out a caramel colored wrapped, what I can guess was candy, object. "Here, take this." I read the black lettering on the wrapper, 'Caramel Coffee Bean Candy'. "Thanks Care." I took the wrapper off the candy and popped it in my mouth before we entered class. She just laughed lightly as we noticed all the two person desk had two names on them. I walked over to the back left table, next to a window, and noticed that mine and Care's named were written on the white paper. "Is it odd that we always sit by each other when we have a class together?" Care shrugged. "I actually think it's cool." I smiled with a light hint of a blush on my face before she started talking again. "Hey, because we have like four minutes till class actually begins, how about you show me those lyrics that kept you up all morning." She had a light laugh at the end. I grabbed out my lyric folder, which I brought to every class just in case I got an song idea, and gave the folder to her. "The second one I finished I kinda failed a little bit on, but the first one I think is actually pretty good." She started reading them in her seat and smiled. "Rocking lyrics Lens. They both are awesome, I'm guessing it's for you and 'The Toxic Sirens' huh?" I nodded. "Well, it is appose to have a little bit of screamo in each one, and I don't think you or Corey can scream with out hurting your throats." Carrie nodded in agreement. "True. Anyway, I do have one question though." I lightly smiled. "Ask away." She then gave me a small smile. "Why are these two songs, love songs?" I just shrugged. "I don't know actually. I just let my hand write what it wanted."
Carrie's POV
As I read the songs, I almost froze when I read the one name 'The Thespian'. I stopped when I seen the same words written in paper, that has been haunting me sense I woke up, I touch your lips and stare in your eyes. You smile and it makes me fly. You are the reason my heart beats.I acted like I normally would when Lens wrote amazing lyrics, compliment it and figure out which band they go to. But, I couldn't shake off the questions in my head. 'Is this why I had a dream of him singing?' 'How did the lyrics get in my dream?' but the major question is, 'Who are these lyrics talking about?' Anyway, after Lenny said that he just let his hand write what ever it wanted, I almost froze then too, I known what that meant even if 'love' isn't my forte. That meant that it had feeling... I know now, that this is most likely going to end badly.
Corey's POV
I've been drifting off a lot in class, I've been worried about something I had a dream of last night. Oddly. I think it was about Lanes... I'm not really sure, all I know is that the voice was familiar, it was singing a song I never heard of but.. The voice, UGH! I can't put my finger on it! At least I have the same classes with Lanes. So far we sit together too. Eh, it'll come to me later.
Laney's POV
Me and Core had Mrs. Haller for English class. I was happy that me and my best friend sat next to each other in most of our morning classes so far. Core was kinda deep in thought though for most of our first hour. "Hey Core, is everything alright?" He snapped back to reality pretty quick. "Oh sorry Lanes, I was trying to figure out where we could play for our next gig thanks to us missing our on a ton of gigs over the summer." I gave him a small smile, the band really meant a lot to him. "I can find one for us after school. For now, I would pay attention in your classes." He laughed lightly. "Thanks for snapping me back to reality." "No big deal Core. At least your not going to fall asleep in class like Lenny." He started laughing. "Oh come on Lanes, we all know that's not going to happen... Until math that is."
