Christian returns as we complete a level. Elliot is delighted and is punching the air.

'Are we doing the next level together?' he asks.

'No, I've had enough. This game is a bit slow.' I say.

'You're too young to appreciate it.' Elliot says. I look at Christian and narrow my eyes at him.

'Don't look like that at me, I'm only concerned with your best interests.' Christians says.

'And, are my friends OK?' I ask moodily.

'Yes, including Jess.' He says.

'How did you know to check her out?' I ask.

'Her name came up on Hannah's, Jonty's, Adam and Josie's searches so I checked her out. Is she the sixth member of your group?' Christian asks.

'Yes.' I mutter.

'So it looks like Hannah is the only girl in your year that hasn't been on a date with Jonty.' Christian says with a smirk.

'It has all that information.' I say, startled.

'Yes. It looks like your friend could rival Elliot.' Christian says.

'I don't know if he's just taken them out for dinner or fucked them.' I say. Elliot starts coughing.

'Matt, you're so crude.' Christian says.

'OK Elliot, all the women you took out, did you sleep with them?' I ask him and smile sweetly at Christian. 'Is that more polite?' I add and Christian smiles.

'None of your business.' Elliot states but turns bright red in embarrassment.

'Should I be more like you?' I ask.

'No.' Elliot says in shock. 'You've got Hannah. You wouldn't cheat on her would you?'

'No, definitely not.' I say.

'Good, because otherwise you would have me and Christian to deal with.' Elliot says. I look at Christian and he nods. I gulp, they are serious about this.

'Why are we even having this conversation? I would marry Hannah and start a family with her tomorrow if I could. I love her and always will. There will never be anyone else.' I say. Elliot and Christian stare at me open-mouthed. Christian is the first one to compose himself.

'You started the conversation and would you really marry her tomorrow and have babies?' Christian says almost shock like.

'Yes.' I say.

'Jeez Matt, that's serious.' Elliot exclaims as he looks at Christian. I shrug, almost embarrassed that I've admitted how I really feel.

'I need some air.' I say and stand, leaving the room to go outside on the terrace. The air is cooler now and I breathe deeply. I enter the house again and make my way to the kitchen and grab a carton of ice cream from the freezer before making my way through the family room with the conservatory attached. Once outside again I walk down the garden and through the arch of flowers. I stop at the door to the recording studio and key in my date of birth. Pulling the door open I enter, pausing at first before going in further and firmly closing the door behind me. Sitting in the chair by the mixing desk I finally relax and start to eat the ice cream. My phone vibrates in my pocket.

'Where have you hidden this time? Are you OK?' Christian asks in his text. I smile to myself, amused that they don't know where I am when we have four security men with us.

'Enjoying the peace and quiet whilst I eat my ice cream.' I text back and continue to eat.

'I thought we knew this house but only you could find somewhere that we don't know about.' He texts back. I grin broadly. He's getting frustrated but trying not to get angry. Once I've finished the ice cream I spin the chair to take in my surroundings. One wall is covered in gold discs. I stand to look at them, fuck I know these songs but I didn't realise my daddy had written them. My chest is tight and I need some air yet again. As I leave the recording studio I see Taylor in the garden, he's only got as far as the arch of flowers and still hasn't spotted me. I push the door to, making sure it's secure and walk towards him.

'Taylor.'

'Matthew, I should warn you Mr Grey is frantic with worry.' Taylor says as we walk back towards the house together.

'I'll go and find him.' I mutter just as Christian appears.

'Where the fuck were you hiding you little shit?' Christian explodes.

'I told you I was going to get some air.' I say.

'Security.' He seethes.

'Sorry.' I say and go and sit on the steps outside the conservatory.

'Are you OK?' he asks more gently as he sits next to me.

'I think I'm in shock.' I say quietly.

'What from? What's happened?' he says. I sit quietly for a few moments, gathering my thoughts. 'Matt, is it about what you said about Hannah and how you would marry her tomorrow.'

'No, but I wish I hadn't told you and Elliot.' I say.

'So what is it then?' he asks.

'I know you were frantic with worry as to my whereabouts but I promise I didn't put myself in any danger. Christian you can trust me, I'm not going to do anything stupid and I will be cautious.' I say.

'OK.' He says almost warily, probably wondering where I'm going with this conversation.

'Where's Elliot?' I ask.

'Still playing that stupid video game.' Christian says and I smile at him.

'Good, I want to show you something.' I say and stand. I start to walk and he follows.

'Matt, I don't think I ever came in this part of the garden. We just spent all our time on the beach.' Christian says.

'Then you won't have been where I'm going to take you.' I say. We go under the arch of flowers and pass the summerhouse towards the studio.

'Wow this is really beautiful.' Christian says.

'Perfect for a wedding.' I mutter. He looks at me.

'For you and Hannah.' He says and I nod. 'Is this what the shock is?'

'No, we've got to walk a bit further.' I say and continue until we are stood by the door.

'I didn't know this building was here.' He says.

'I found it yesterday when mom told me to explore.' I say as I punch the number in. 'Christian, this is something else I don't want anyone to know about.'

'OK.' He says mystified. I walk in and let him follow. 'Fuck Matt, you have a recording studio.'

'Why are you surprised? I have one in Seattle and another in London.' I say.

'But they are not in the grounds of your house, hidden away from everyone.' He says.

'I know. Apparently this is where he used to do his song writing. Look over here, this is what shocked me.' I say, taking him towards the wall. 'This is where I came to eat the ice cream and I discovered these discs.' Christian is quiet and he looks closely, taking in all the details.

'I can see why you were shocked. I think I am as well. I had no idea.' Christian says.

'He's a lot to live up to.' I whisper.

'Matt, you're your own person. You don't have to be like him. Whatever you decide to do he'd have been very proud of you.' Christian says.

'What for being a totally insecure freak who's frightened to move too far from mom and dad.' I say. 'Christian it's a good job I'm sleeping all the time whilst I'm here. I'm barely holding it together.'

'Matt, you're doing great.' Christian says gently.

'So great that I would come back with you tomorrow.' I mutter.

'Matt…'

'It's OK, I'll stay here. I'm sure I'll survive. Actually Mia was really helping me before you got here.' I say.

'Our sister does have her uses then.' He says and I smile at him. 'Matt, your friends Adam and Josie. They're together.'

'Yes, they have been for at least a year.' I say.

'So that leaves Jonty on his own for a few days and….' Christian says.

'Don't worry. I won't let him anywhere Mia. Besides I might not have them up here at the house. I would have been OK had it just been Jonty but I'm still wary of other people. Do you think Taylor would do a security sweep of Jonty's house and the beach by it so that we could maybe go there to surf.' I say.

'You are going to end up being more of a recluse than I am but yes I understand where you're coming from. I'll get both Taylor and Sawyer to check out the place in the morning and see how viable it is for you to surf there.' Christian says with a smile. 'Are you ready to go back to the house?'

'No, there's one more thing whilst you're here. Apparently daddy only ever wrote his songs here. People know that he had a stash of songs somewhere but couldn't find them in Seattle or London. Apparently there's enough for a few albums and mom said if I find them I need to make sure they're safe until I decide whether I want to do something with them. She thinks they might be here somewhere.' I say.

'They must be in the house, there's not much in here really.' Christian says. 'I'm still in shock about some of the songs he has written.'

'Same here.' I say as I look around. 'There's only this room and the recording booth here and no sign of any paperwork.' I freeze.

'Matt, are you OK?' Christian asks.

'Yes.' I whisper and look at him with wide eyes.

'What is it?' he asks in alarm.

'They're here.' I whisper.

'Are you sure?' he asks and I nod. I walk slowly back towards the wall and look at the song titles. I start to hum a tune that has come into my head. Christian looks at me oddly and then points to one of the discs.

'Is that what you're looking for?' he asks. I nod. I stand in front of it and stare, it looks the same as all the others. Christian unhooks it from the wall and turns it over. In the bottom corner in very small writing there appears to be a code 'ELCHMIMA4' and another 'SISUCAGR4'

'What do they mean?' I ask.

'I don't know but they are codes for something but look at them closely.' He says.

'Shit Christian, the first two letters of all of our names.' I mutter. He puts the disc back and makes sure it is correctly aligned with all the others.

'So what now?' he asks.

'I don't know.' I say.

'Matt, how did you know about the song and the disc.' He asks gently.

'It just came in my head. I felt a tingle down my spine first but it made me feel really relaxed.' I say.

'Stay relaxed, you'll know what to do when the time is right.' He says and puts an arm round me.

'I'd rather find out now with you here.' I say.

'Do you still feel that they're here or shall we head back to the house?' he asks. I stand quietly, next to him. His arm is still draped round my shoulder as we stare at the discs together. I feel too warm all of a sudden and pull away from Christian. I move back to the mixing desk, sitting in the chair. I put my hands on the top and then very slowly move my right hand underneath and find what I was meant to. I push the button and the wall behind us clicks loudly. I turn, Christian in standing in shock. I go to him and we push the side of the wall as it spins and we walk with it into another room.

'Fuck Matt.' Christian says. 'I'm finding it hard to breathe.'

'Same.' I whisper as we enter the room. There's a huge desk and a couple of chairs. 'I wonder if mom and dad know about this room.'

'They can't do, otherwise mom would have said.' Christian says. I sit down on the chair and automatically open the top right hand drawer. There's only a power ranger this time and I smile as I take it out to show Christian. He smiles back at me as I put it back in it's place and then take out the set of keys that are in there. I then unlock the filing cabinet and open the bottom drawer. There's a small safe and I carefully tap in the first code. It springs open and I take out another set of keys. I go and unlock a cupboard door with them and am faced with a large safe into which I pump the second code. I carefully pull the handle and open it up.

'Jeez Matt, how did you know to do all that?' Christian asks in amazement.

'I've been in here before. When I was stood with you in the other half I went all hot and then I just knew what to do. I came here with daddy after the holiday that we had. Just the two of us for about three days and we spent some time each day in here. I think he bought me the newest Gameboy to keep me quiet as he worked but he showed me the switch and this room. I'd just completely forgotten about it until now.' I say.

'So what's in the safe?' he asks. I open the door wide and pull out a few books.

'These must be what we were looking for.' I whisper almost afraid to touch. I hand them to Christian.

'You want me to look.' He says.

'Yes.' I whisper.

'You're right, it is the songs. Pages and pages of them with the music to go with them.' He says quietly. 'Is there anything else?'

'Yes.' I say and pull some other things out. 'Fuck, look at these.' I pull out a gold bar. 'There's another three of these and they're labelled. There's one each for you, me, Elliot and Mia.'

'Fuck Matt, look at this. There are bank accounts in your name in different locations around the world, at least five and each has a few million dollars in. Shit, the name he's put them in are 'Matthew Simon Gill Trevelyan Grey' They must have only meant to have been found if something happened to him and your mommy.' I stand quietly for a few moments before reaching into the safe again.

'Look at these, there's also an account each for you, Elliot and Mia and it looks like you had at least four million each over ten years ago so that must be a lot more now and then there's one for mom and dad.'

'How much for?' he asks.

'Thirty.' I say 'With just a small piece of paper saying 'thank you''

'Shit Matt.'

'What shall we do with it all?' I ask him.

'Let's put it all back for now as it was. At least we know it's safe here and we'll figure out what to do with it all tomorrow. I'll speak to dad if you want, unless you want to do it.'

'You can, you'll probably explain it all better than I will. Can you help me put it all back and make sure I lock it up properly? I'm shaking.' I say.

'Hey, stay calm. You know I'm here to help with whatever you need if you want me to.' Christian says and gives me a brotherly hug.

'Thanks, I need your help with everything at the moment.' I mutter.

'You'll get there little bro.' he says. We lock the first safe, followed by the cupboard door. Keys in the next safe and the filing cabinet locked. 'Do we leave these keys here in the top drawer or take them with us?'

'You take them tonight.' I say and then walk back into the other half. Christian follows and we close the wall ensuring it clicks back into place and doesn't move.

'You blow me away.' Christian says.

'Why?' I ask.

'You have so much trust in me.' He says quietly.

'Why wouldn't I? You're my brother, you've always been there for me. I trust you completely with everything in my life.' I say. We exit the studio and confirm with each other that this door is also locked. 'You can speak to dad about this but no-one else. Will you call him tomorrow and then the three of us can decide what to do?'

'Yes, it will be the first thing I do.' He says as we walk back through the garden. 'You need to sleep.'

'I don't think I'll be able to. I feel like I need a beer but can't have one, I need Hannah but can't go near her. I can't swim again today or do any other exercise and yet I'm like a coiled spring waiting to be released.' I say.

'Fifteen minutes to calm down watching Elliot who'll still be lost in the Mario game and then bed. And yes I am treating you like you are ten and insisting that you go to sleep because I want to swim and surf with you tomorrow as much as you want to.' He says.

'OK Mr Overprotective Control Freak I'll do as you say but only because I want to have some fun tomorrow.' I say cheekily as I set off in a slow jog for the rest of the way up the garden. Christian runs after me laughing.
