Part 1 - Chaos
It has now been about a month since that day on the beach when me and Gaara patched things up. Christmas is four days away and everyone was already gone from school on break but me, tenten, temari, Gaara, Ray, Shino, kankuro and hinata. Kiba and Neji both left this morning to get tickets for a cruise on the coast for them and there girlfriends but they decided just to stay down there for tonight. Hinata and tenten are trying to throw a party before they leave tomorrow morning to meet the guys. Shino and Temari are dancing around that they are in fact together when everyone knows it. Well for me, I am single again and staying with Shino for a while. Two weeks ago Ray and Gaara went at it for the last time and I told them since they can't get there act together because of me then I don't want either of them. That night I made a mistake by sleeping with Gaara when I just broke up with him. Since then they have been in my life and of course Ray is still trying to get with me while im accidently sleeping with Gaara when we were suppose to be broke up. All I have to do is look at his face for one split second and I melt.
Here I was again. Gaara pulled out of me and laid down beside me on the sheets that felt like they were silk. I pulled a sheet to cover my body with and just looked at gaara then it hit me.
"Shit" I whispered low because I am not suppose to be doing this again with him. I quickly got up with the sheet covering me and walked over picking my clothes up off the floor one by one leading all the way to the door. It is the middle of the day for one when we use to only do this at night so anyone can come looking for me for this party tonight. Gaara just smirked at me when I walked past him to the bathroom. I threw my clothes on the counter and hopped in the shower. Not even one minute later the shower door opened and in came a naked Gaara.
"Gaara, we can't keep doing this." I said and yet he came closer to me. His hand reached around and grabbed the soap.
"Sakura" He whispered in my ear giving me the chills. "You keep coming to me, not the other way around." He was right. Everytime this has happened it has been because of me. I rinsed out the soap from my body and hair and he just watched. He doesn't seem to care that im as big as a house now. I ignored him getting out hearing someone banging on the door.
"Gaara hurry, no one can know that im here" I whispered and he cut the water off getting out. He grabbed a towel wrapping it around his waist and walked. He was really going to answer the door looking like that. He is just trying to torcher me. I stayed in the bathroom cause I could still hear what was going on.
"Gaar-" I couldn't see who it was but im pretty sure it was hinata's voice. She had stopped realizing what he was wearing.
"Is Sakura here?" That was Tentens voice. So there together looking for me. Oh no.
"I saw her walk across the street earlier. Probably to get food before the store closes for the break tomorrow" He said. That was really clever. I wouldn't have even thought of that one.
"Thanks" Tenten said and they started walking away. High heels clinking. Then they stopped. "By the way Gaara, party starts in one hour." Gaara nodded and closed the door. I had gotten dressed while listening to there conversation.
I walked over to gaara and kissed him on the cheek. Pretty easy to get away with being over here when u live right next door to him. Shino Hasn't kicked me out yet so Ill have to give him props. Two weeks trying to handle me is got to be hard work. I walked out closing the door behind me and walked down the hall a little and unlocked shino's door.
"Sakura, you do realize if you don't want anyone to know about you and gaara then you might want to keep it down next time." He smirked and I laughed. Shino knows about me and Gaara having fun. I couldn't keep it from him because for one, he is right next door and for two I live with him so it would be hard to explain. "You know there looking for you"
"Yeah, But if this party is in one hour then why do they need me now?" I asked him just to see if he knew anything but he just shrugged his shoulders.
I walked into my room and changed into jeans, and a huge t-shirt that said suck it on the front. I think this had something to do with all those vampire movies coming out but who knows. I walked out and me and shino both took the elevator to Rays room which is now where everyone stays. Hinata, kiba, tenten and neji. We walked in and were surprised like crazy. There was strimmers and balloons and tons and tons of food. From gummy bears to pizza and chocolate cake for desert.
"A pregnant girls dream" I said and they all laughed at me.
"Food is done now which is why we were trying to find you. Didn't want the pregnant chick complaining about cold food" Tenten said and I hit her on the arm playfully.
"So when are all of you guys leaving?" I asked sitting down on the couch with a bowl of sauce and chips in my hand.
"Me and Hinata are leaving tomorrow morning to go meet the guys" Tenten said and couldn't contain her excitement cause she started jumping up and down.
"Im picking up the kids tonight and we are headed to the beach house with shino. So you will have the whole apartment by yourself for a while Sakura." Temari said sitting down beside me stealing a chip from me. I glared at her and she just laughed at me.
"So you two are a thing now." Tenten asked temari and she shook her head no, mouth full of chips which really meant yes and everyone knew it.
"Well im headed tomorrow morning to my friends cabin up in the mountains" Ray chimed in. I couldn't help but smile at that one. I knew it was mean but with no one around maybe me and gaara. Wait no, Im not going down that road again but Im thinking about it. This being our secret and everyone knowing that we broke up has been heaven for me. No one is trying to break us up anymore and there are no more fights between gaara and ray. Even tho ray doesn't know I've been sleeping with gaara.
"I heard father wanted Kankuro and Gaara to go up this break and apologize for last time and spend Christmas break there." Temari blurted out of no where. My heart sunk when I heard that which meant I wouldn't have anyone here to keep me company all winter break.
"I will not be going" Everyone turned and seen Gaara had come in but no one even heard the door open.
"Gaara, If dad wants to talk-"
"No, I will not apologize to him about anything." Gaara said in his serious tone and turned back around and headed out the door slamming it with his sand.
"Sakura" Shino sat down beside me on the couch. "If you don't want to be alone all winter break then I will stay here with you. I didn't know everyone was leaving" He said patting my knee with his hand. He has really became like a brother to me and I love him.
"I will be fine Shino. You need to get away from me for a while and go have some fun." I told him then looked at temari for some backup.
"Yes shino, you can't take care of her 24/7. Besides im sure that gaara will still be here to keep check on her." Temari said and Shino nodded.
The party went great and gaara never did come back so I grabbed a plate and started piling it up with food for him. I started having bad cramps right after I got here but I don't want them to worry or me put them on a big hault on there Christmas plans for nothing. Plus I still have another 2 months to go.
"Are you still hungry Sakura?" Temari asked laughing.
"No, Im being nice and taking your brother some food" I said smiling and bumping her with my side.
"Sakura" Ray called out as soon as I got out in the hallway. He came out of the room that was blaring music and shut the door. "I just wanted you to know that I can stay here if you don't feel comfortable being by urself" He said and looked at my stomach.
"Ray, I still have two months left. I will be perfectly fine by myself" I told him and walked off.
I went down the elevator instead of the stairs for once because I was having horrible pains in my lower stomach and back. It felt like my I had tore a muscle around there or something. As soon as I got to gaara's room I snuck inside hoping to get the drop on him. He gave me a key to this apartment a while back and I keep telling him I am going to give it back to him but I never do.
"I can hear you" Gaara said from somewhere in the room. I couldn't tell because the lights were all shut off and it was extremely dark in his apartment at night.
"Then can you turn on a little light for me" I said talking to the dark. I can never go in without him knowing whos there. In an instant I felt the plate being lifted and heard it being put down on the table and then I felt hot breath on my neck.
"I like it better this way" Gaara whispered in my ear making me shiver all over. He turned me around backing me up to what felt like the counter. He picked me up and sat me on it. Even after this belly he can still pick me up no problem.
"Gaara, you know we can't do this" I said rubbing my hands through his hair. He kissed my belly then flipped on the lights. He stared at me with those eyes and I was about to give in to him. I leaned my forehead against his. "You know you need to go to your father's for the break" He backed off of me.
"Kankuro is going. He is leaving tonight. I will not be going" He told me straight out. I was stunned but I wondered by kankuro left the party so early.
"How about this, If I stay the night here tonight then can you please leave first thing in the morning and go apologize to your father and spend the break with him." I asked and he just shook his head no. I cupped his face and made him look at me. "Please, for me" I asked knowing he probably wouldn't go for it and he just shook his head.
"Okay then. I just had to try." With his help I got off the bar and walked into the bathroom.
I changed my clothes into pajamas which contained a big t-shirt and that's it. I didn't care what he said I just didn't want to be alone tonight when everyone was leaving me tomorrow morning. I walked out of the bathroom and Gaara was already in nothing but pants that he sleeps in. I walked over and sat on the bed tired and hurting and I think he could tell but I just hope he couldn't.
"I just want someone to stay with tonight" I said. He came over and we pulled the covers down and got in. My back was to him and he had his arm wrapped around me. I started loving gaara even more now but I just don't want to be in a relationship where two guys have to fight over me. My plan was to wait until one of them found someone new and then try to date again but after me being pregnant and keeping the baby im afraid that no one would want to be with me. If I could just stay away from gaara I would be fine but I can't seem too.
I looked over at gaara and realized he didn't even try anything with me tonight and he was already passed out, so I did the same.
When I woke up I looked over at the clock first and it was only 7am but everyone would either be gone and about to leave by now. Which meant I needed to get up and get out of gaaras apartment. I looked over and gaara was gone and there was a boat load of blankets on me. I threw the blankets off of me and it got freezing cold as soon as I did. I walked into the bathroom and tried to flip the light on but it didn't work. It was unusual considering it had a good light bulb last night. I just slipped on one of gaaras jogging pants knowing he wouldn't mind considering how cold it was. I walked out blowing on my hands trying to get warm. In the living room there was two heaters and you could feel the difference between the room and in here. I looked around and noticed that there was a flash light and a couple candles. I guess the power went out last night and I didn't even know about it. I sat down on the couch close to the heater and pondered on what to do or where gaara was at. Not even two seconds later gaara came through the door.
"What's going on?" I asked him as he sat beside me covering me with a blanket to keep me as warm as he could.
"Power is out and they are saying it could take a couple of days to fix" My jaw dropped to the floor when I heard that.
"Why would it take that long?" I asked him and he looked at me like I was completely crazy. He got up and pulled the curtains and blinds away from the window and I couldn't believe it. I walked over to the window and everything was completely white. I couldn't see anything because the wind was going way to fast. A blizzard. They were calling for maybe a inch today before and now it has turned into this.
"What about everyone's trips? I am the reason they stayed behind as long as they did." I asked walking toward the door.
"Sakura" I turned around and Gaara handed me his jacket. I took it putting it on and walked out.
I walked over to Shino's apartment and let myself in. It was extremely cold in here and I didn't see any signs of shino. I walked over and grabbed a pair of my sweat pants and a long sleeve black shirt. I walked into the bathroom and changed not wanting to be near naked at all but I had to get gaara's clothes off me so no one would assume anything. I walked out the bathroom and threw on my jacket.
"Sakura" I looked toward the door and shino was standing there. "Hey, your still here" I walked over and hugged him.
"Temari left last night but I couldn't leave you here by yourself" He whispered to me. I looked up at him and I just couldn't help but smile.
"What about everyone else?" I asked.
"Tenten, Hinata and Ray are still here. I was about to come and get you because your friends seem to think they can still make it in this" Shino said. They are not the smartest in the world when it comes to thinking they can do something.
Me and shino both walked up the stairs to ray's apartment. I was wishing we had took the elevator because my stomach was still having a lot of problems. It was now giving me a sharp pain in my lower stomach.
When we got to ray's the door was already unlocked like always. We walked in into a fight between tenten, hinata and Ray.
"You will not make it if you try." Ray told them and they turned looking at me and shino.
"Sakura!" Tenten said coming over to me grabbing my hand and bringing me to the couch. "Tell Ray that we can still make it if we leave now" I looked at her then hinata then Ray.
"Its bad out there Tenten. I don't think you could even make it down the street. Plus everyones cars are covered and they probably arnt going to scrap the roads till this lets up cause that would be useless. " I told her and she let go of my arm.
"Fine, I guess me and Hinata are stuck here too" Tenten said giving up the fight.
"Who wants to walk with me to go see if that one store is open because were going to need more heaters" I asked getting up.
"You sure your able to walk in the snow. I don't-"
"Ill be fine Shino" I told him.
"Ill go" I looked at ray and knew I didn't have another option.
"Shino" I nodded him over and he followed me to the kitchen area. "Stay here with Tenten and Hinata because I know there going to try and sneak out of here sooner or later." I whispered to him and he nodded agreeing with me.
"Okay, lets go" Ray said handing me a jacket. I was fine with the one I had on but for safty measures I threw that one on too.
We took the elevator all the way down thank goodness. When we got to the bottom there was no one there which was strange. There was usually someone always here. When we got to the door and looked outside it was already looking like a bad idea.
"Sakura, are you sure you want to do this" Ray asked me and I nodded my head yes.
"We need the heaters" He nodded and opened the door. The store was right across from the building but it had a huge parking lot so it looks like a bit of a shorter walk then it is. When I stepped into the snow I about fell. There was ice mixed in with it. And it already came up to my calve muscles.
"Careful" Ray grabbed my arm to keep me steady. We made our way slowly over to the store. When we got up to the windows we then realized it was closed. So we did all this walking for nothing. Out of no where this pain in my stomach got ten times worse than usually. I had to double over and breath deap.
"Sakura!" Ray slowly backed me up to the bench area and sat me down which helped with the pain some. "What's wrong? The baby?" He asked.
"I don't know" I said between breathing. I held onto my stomach and the pain ceased up.
"Sakura, how long have you been having these pains" He asked me and I didn't feel like telling him. He cupped my cheek and made me look at him. "Please tell me"
"Since yesterday" I told him still looking into his eyes. He was being sweet.
"Sakura, we need to get you to the hospital" He said and I nodded in agreement
"But what hospital? The one closest to us is the schools and there off on vacation. The only other one is 40 minutes away" I told him and he looked like he was trying to think of something.
"I thin-" We were cut off by the sound of tires sliding. Both of us got up and seen it was Tenten's car, and they were headed this way. Not by choice though. They were spinning.
"Sakura, move!" Ray said picking me up and started running right when the car slambed into the store throwing me and ray into the snow. "Sakura!" I turned to see both gaara and shino headed towards us.
"Sakura, you okay" Ray said coming above me.
"Yes," I shook my head and pointed at the car. Ray got up and ran to see if tenten and hinata were okay.
"Sakura, Im sorry. They hit me in the back of the head and ran" Shino said explaining himself then ran to help ray.
I went to sit up and about fell back down but someone had his hand on my back. I looked to see that it was gaara and I smiled.
"Im sorry, Im so sorry" I looked up and seen Tenten, She was bleeding badly on her head.
"Hinata is pinned by her leg. We can't get her out and she is unconscious" Shino said with a phone up to his ear. "We need an ambulance here now" Shino was explanning what happened to them.
Gaara slowly helped me up and Shino threw his phone. I have never seen shino mad before. This was a new one to me.
"He said with the roads like they are that it will take at least an hour." Shino said then jumped back in the car to help hinata.
"uh oh" I felt another pain coming and held onto the pole next to me squeezing it. I felt wet down below and this wasn't good.
"Sakura." Gaara whispered.
"Her water just broke yall. The baby is coming!" Tenten yelled.
Shino and Ray trying to get hinata out. Gaara and tenten by my side and a hour before an ambulance can even get here. This is great.
