5:30pm, Clare, Alli, and Jenna are just about finished setting up for the movie night, while Connor and Dave are on the couch already eating the snacks. "Guys stop eating all the food, if Adam is like how he used to be, he is going to be hungry." Clare tells Dave and Connor while making sure she has everything set up the way she wants it.
At 5:45pm Clare's doorbell rings, she goes to open it and is surprised to see a tall young man standing before her, "Adam?"
"Yup," Adam answers and brings Clare into a big bear hug.
When he lets go of her she looks at him again and takes in all the changes, "Wow, I still can't believe that this is you and your voice is a lot deeper."
"Well that's what testosterone will do to a guy," Adam looks past Clare and into her house. "So are we going to stand her all night or are you going to let me in?"
"Oh, sorry," she steps aside and lets Adam enter. She closes the door and follows Adam into the living room where he is already hugging Alli and Jenna and fist bumping Dave and Connor.
"So are we going to get this party started or what?" Adam says looking at his friends in excitement, he hasn't seen them in a while and has really missed them.
"Yeah, but we are just waiting for one more person," Clare tells Adam and before Adam can ask who it is they are waiting for, the doorbell rings. "You guys get comfortable and I'll go answer the door."
As Clare walks away Alli and Jenna begin to fill Adam in on the things he has missed since he's been gone. Jenna finishes telling Adam something funny and he begins to laugh but as soon as he sees who was at the door his laughter abruptly stops.
He looks at the green eyed girl standing before him and he can't believe how much more beautiful she is from the last time he has seen her. He gets up and walks to her, "hey Abs."
She looks up at him and smiles, "wow looking good Torres."
He looks at her hair that is longer than it was before and can't help but touch it, "you look good with longer hair."
"It's good to know that you are still a smooth talker," she laughs and wraps her arms around his waist and he immediately pulls her in closer.
"I'm shocked and glad you came," Adam tells her pulling out of the hug and sitting back on the couch.
"Thanks, I'm glad I came," she smiles shyly at him and takes a seat next to him.
"Well if you two are done flirting with each other, I say we get a movie started," Dave says throwing Adam a pack of Skittles. After much debate the group finally agrees on watching 'We are the Millers' and sometime during the movie Abbey cuddles into Adam who wraps his arm around her shoulder without a second thought.
After the movie is over they take a mini movie break to use the bathroom and get more snacks and drinks. "Okay since I'm the guest of honor, I say we watch 'Texas Chainsaw'," Adam knows Clare won't deny his request and he smirks at her and Clare rolls her eyes in response. Adam's smile widens at his victory, "booyah."
The movie ends and everybody is saying their goodbyes to each other, "Thanks Clare for doing this movie night for me, I needed it."
"It was my pleasure, I had fun and I'm happy you're back," she hugs him and walks him to the door along with Abbey. Abbey and Clare say goodbye and Abbey and Adam walk down Clare's driveway.
"So did you walk here?" Adam asks Abbey.
"Yeah," she says looking up at him.
"Okay then, I am going to walk you home to make sure you get their safely. You know just in case there is a chainsaw wielding psycho waiting in the dark for a beautiful girl to walk by. "
"Wow I get my own personal bodyguard," she locks her arm with his and they continue to walk towards her house.
It doesn't take them long to get to her house since it's not too far from Clare's house. Adam walks Abbey to her door, "thanks for walking me home."
She rubs her hands together nervously, "it was no problem, you shouldn't have to walk to your house alone at night, it can be dangerous."
"Aren't you a gentleman," she smiles shyly at him and their eyes connect. She makes a move and tries to bring their lips together but all she gets is his cheek and is instantly embarrassed. "I should get inside," she doesn't look at him when she says this and doesn't even give him a chance to say anything as she quickly makes her way inside.
Adam is left standing awkwardly on Abbey's doorstep not really sure what just happened, but one thing he does know, he didn't let Abbey kiss him and he is proud of himself for not letting it happen. He turns away from the door and walks down the walkway smiling to his self, I am definitely making progress, I wanted to kiss her but I didn't. Man I wish Becky was here with me, I miss her so much.
Adam makes it to his house in no time and as soon as he gets into his room he looks at the calendar and realizes the beginning of school is in one week and he starts to get butterflies. He is thinking about how people are going to react to his new appearance, but as he is getting ready for bed he decides to not worry about it, whatever happens will happen. He texts Becky goodnight and heads off to bed thinking about how awesome it would be if he and Becky went to the same school.

"Come on bro, it's time to get up," Drew walks into Adam's room and pulls the cover off of Adam. Adam groans and tries to pull the covers back on him, "Adam, it's the first day of school. You get to show off the new you and make the panties drop."
"Drew?" Adam calls out.
"What is it bro?" Drew responds wondering what is on Adam's mind.
"Shut up and get out," Adam says rolling out of bed.
"Whatever, my job here is done, Mom just wanted me to wake you up," Drew laughs and makes his way downstairs for breakfast.
A half hour later Adam makes his way downstairs and into the kitchen and groggily sits down at the table. Mama Torres sets down a plate of French toast in front of Adam, "thanks Mama."
Audra kisses Adam on the head and everybody is watching Adam eat, which is making him nervous. Instinctively he drops his fork and looks at his food suspiciously, "what did you put in my food?"
Mr. Torres lets out a chuckle, "don't be ridiculous, your mom and I have a surprise for you after you finish your breakfast."
Adam quickly finishes his food and looks up at his parents, "so what's my surprise?"
Mama Torres takes a box out of her pocket and hands it to Adam, "go ahead and open it."
Adam looks up at his mom and smirks, "Mom, you know it's illegal for us to get married, right?"
Drew lets out a laugh and Audra just rolls her eyes, "look if you don't want what's in the box, give it back to me."
She goes to reach for it but Adam pulls it out of reach, "I was only joking." He quickly opens the box and is confused for a second before it dawns on him what exactly he is holding in his hand. "No way! Please tell me this is what I think it is," he takes the car key out of the box and holds it up in front of his face.
"Bro, just remember I helped pick it out," Drew says clasping Adam on the shoulder.
"I'll keep that in mind," Adam says while rushing out to the driveway and when he gets there his jaw drops. Sitting nicely on the driveway is a blue Chevy Camaro that has a black strip that runs through the center of the car from the hood to the trunk. He unlocks the car and takes a look inside and he runs his hand along the black leather seats that have blue trimming, he looks at the steering wheel and it matches the rest of the car, it's black with blue trimming.
He pops his head of the car and walks to his parents, "thanks, I love it, it's perfect."
"Hey what about me, I helped pick it out and picked out the colors," Drew crosses his arms across his chest with a pout on his face.
"Thanks for having good taste Andrew," Adam walks over to him and hugs him and attempts to give him a kiss on the cheek but Drew dodges him.
"Ok baby bro you better get your stuff and head to school, you don't want to be late for your first day of school," Drew pushes his brother towards the house laughing.

Adam drives into school and parks his car, when he steps out of the car he can feel all the students' eyes on him. He walks into the school and he can hear whispers from the surrounding students, "is that Adam Torres?", "Is that who I think it is, man he's hot" and this is basically what the whispers that reach Adam's ears are about.
He takes out a piece of paper with his locker assignment and he makes his way towards it. When he finds it he turns the lock and enters the combo and it easily pops open. "Thank God," last time Adam was in Degrassi he always had trouble opening his locker.
"Well praising the Lord is definitely the perfect way to start your day," Adam can't believe his ears, he can pick out the voice anywhere.
"Becky Baker, what are you doing here?" Adam turns around and brings her into a hug making her giggle.
"My brother plays for the Toronto Ice Hounds, so we decided to all move to Toronto. It was so hard to keep this from you, I wanted to tell you so bad, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise," she says into his chest because he has yet to release her from his hold.
"You don't know how happy I am to see you, you have no idea how much I've missed you," he loosens his hold on her so he can look into her eyes. The spark and chemistry is still there so he decides to make a move. He slowly brings his lips to hers giving her a chance to turn away. When she doesn't move he takes this as a go ahead and he closes the rest of the distance and brings their lips together. It's just a quick pressing of their lips but it still makes his heart beat fast.
When they pull out of the kiss they are both smiling. They are so focused on one another they don't feel the set of green eyes and the set of brown eyes watching them with jealousy and hurt from down the hall.
A/N: Sorry for the lack of updates, I've just been working a lot lately but I will try to post a new chapter within the next two weeks because I have to go to Georgia next week to pick up my niece.
