I just want you to know who I am
Chapter 14
"I now pronounce you man and wife." The priest said. "You may kiss the bride."
Aaron turned to Morgan and kissed her.
Morgan smiled as she was being kissed.
Aaron drew back and took her hand.
They ran down the aisle together.
They wanted to be away from everyone and just have the rest of the day to themselves.
Aaron and Morgan stood in the middle of the room.
They kept being bombarded with well dones and congratulations.
"Maybe we should mingle more." Aaron said.
"Why?"
Aaron looked at Morgan.
"Nah, I want to say by your side."
Morgan smiled and stared off into the distance.
Aaron turned to see her looking at Eddy.
"Do you think he remembers?" Morgan asked.
"Well if he does then he isn't letting it show. I would have thought that he would have with me and Gwen being here."
Morgan hummed. "Maybe we should mingle." Morgan said moving away.
Aaron felt his shoulder being tapped and turned around.
"Aaron, I think we should have a little chat now don't you?" Morgan's father said.
Aaron followed his new father-in-law out but before leaving the hall, he turned to Morgan. She smiled and waved at him so he glared at her.
"Is he going for the chat?" Mrs Jennings asked.
"Probably, I got out of there as soon as I could. As my as I love my dad I cannot bear to be with him longer than 5 seconds."
They all laughed but Morgan noticed that Eddy was looking at her in a certain way.
He has remembered. She thought.
Eddy stood up.
"I think its time that I started off the speeches. At the moment I am not drunk so you will all be able to understand what I am saying."
Eddy cleared his throat.
"I haven't known Aaron long. We meet in hospital as he was my doctor and I need my stomach pumped. He has helped me to get over my alcoholism, but only slightly. However I am trying to help him get over his light weightness. We have had some progress but not as much as I would have liked."
Aaron shock his head next to him.
"Even for knowing Aaron for this short amount of time, it has felt like I have known him forever. He is a kind man that deserves the best in life and he has found that with Morgan. I remember when I first meet Morgan. We didn't get on at all but we came closer for Aaron. Now I would regard her as a good friend."
Morgan smiled up at him.
"I tried to find as much out about these two as possible but it seems like Aaron came out of nowhere and I didn't want to go anywhere near the Fay household. It doesn't help that they don't have Facebook profiles."
Everybody chuckled at that.
"There is little I can say about these two wonderful people other than I hope you all the happiness in the world. I want you to raise you glasses to Aaron and Morgana."
"Aaron and Morgan." Everyone said.
Aaron turned to Morgan who had exactly the same expression on her face. He had remembered.
The party was in full swing and Aaron was nervous.
"What's up?" A voice behind him said.
Aaron jumped and turned to see Caitlin.
"Sorry you scared me." Aaron said to her.
"Sorry, what's wrong?"
Aaron started to stutter. "Umm … Well … Umm."
"You are nervous about dancing with Morgan."
Aaron sighed. "Of course. I have been alive for more than 1500 years and I still trip over my own feet."
Caitlin laughed. "Well the sooner it happens, the less time you have to be nervous."
Aaron smiled at her. "How I survived all these years without you I will never know."
Caitlin started to push him. "Go and find her and dance with her."
Eddy came up to Morgan.
"Can I have a word outside?" He said to her.
She followed him out trying to look around for Aaron but couldn't see him.
They went out of the hall and into the garden that surrounded the house.
"Eddy what ..."
"Gwaine. You know that I am Gwaine so lets cut the pleasantries."
Morgan closed her mouth.
"What spell have you got him under? He would never fall for someone so cold hearted as you."
"They do say opposite attract." Morgan said trying to keep the conversation light rather than the serious path it was going to take.
"What have you done to him?" Gwaine said.
Morgan swallowed. "I have enchanted him ..."
"I knew you had." Gwaine butted in.
"... But that is only because he stole my heart first. I have not enchanted him using a spell. Have you ever been in love Sir Gwaine?"
Gwaine glared at her with the use of sir. "What is it to you?"
"Then you would know how strong it is. Merlin has lived for thousands of years waiting for my brother to rise again. He has seen everyone he loves die. This is the one time he can be happy because I remember. We were together before and we always talked about running away to somewhere that we would be … where we would be respected for who we are. We talked of marriage and children. Yet it never came around because Merlin could never leave Arthur. My dear brother can't even dress without his little servant."
Gwaine thought over what she said and reached into his jacket. He pulled a gun from there.
"I am sorry but you killed good men for your own gain. You killed Arthur and you killed me. I cannot allow you to keep poisoning Merlin's mind."
Morgan didn't even try to move and closed her eyes. She had died many times before. She would come back to Merlin one day.
"MORGANA!" Aaron shouted and ran to her.
A gunshot was heard.
Morgan opened her eyes to see Aaron on the floor.
"Merlin!" She said rolling him over so that she could see him.
"Morgs." He said.
"Please would the happy couple please come to the floor."
Morgan looked towards the house as the music started to play.
Heart beats fast
Colours and promises
"I chose the song." Merlin said as his breathing was getting deeper.
Morgan couldn't believe that they hadn't heard the shot.
"You cannot leave me." Morgan said.
Merlin smiled up at her and started to sing along. "I have died everyday waiting for you, Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you, For a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more."
Morgan wanted to cry.
"I did say till death do we part." Merlin said trying to lighten the mood.
"I just didn't think it would be so soon." Morgan said tears running down her face. "I don't want to lose you."
Caitlin came out to see where they were.
"Come on you two you are miss … What has happened?"
Caitlin saw that Morgan's white dress was now nearly red and Eddy was holding a gun.
She ran back inside.
"Hold on Merlin please."
Merlin brought his hand up to her face. "Come here."
She leant down and he kissed her.
"At least I get my finial kiss as I am dying."
Merlin smiled up and her then it dropped. His breathing had stopped.
"Aaron, Aaron!" She said shaking him. "MERLIN!"
She leant over his body and cried.
Sirens could be heard but it was too late.
I don't normally do notes at the end but please don't kill me for this.
