Something clicked in the back of his mind. He knew there was something coming behind him. He stopped swimming and turned around to see a missal speeding towards him.

He just raised his hand and as the missal touched it, it vanished. Not just disappeared, but it slowly disintegrated in the sea. Then the shooter turned and swam away again as if nothing had ever happened.

Maya could not believe what she just saw. DID HE JUST DESTROY ONE OF JEREMY'S MISSALS WITH ONE HAND!

She shook her head as she tried to get back to normal instead of freaking out over an incredibly powerful foe. Where's he going?

The shooter was still swimming away; it didn't seem like he was going anywhere.

Maybe he just swims around all day in here, she thought, but she still followed him. She kept her eye on him close, so she could see his every move.

He turned his head, not by much, but enough that see saw a red glow from his eye. The look was only for a second but it made her suck in air and freeze in her spot. Not that he did anything but look, but she was frozen by fear. When he turned his head, he picked up A LOT of speed and swam off.

Maya shook her head and came back to reality; she grumbled something under her breath and drove off to follow him as fast as her hub would take her.

"Where are you-"

Something hit her hub with such force, making it spin uncontrollably. She heard a scream, that sounded like a monster; but when she checked for anything in the Sea there was nothing there.

Grumbling to herself (again) she went back to looking for the shooter.

After what seemed like a long time, she felt like giving up. Heck, she was even about to report back to Jeremy saying she lost him, even though she knew that meant Ulrich would never let her forget how dumb this idea was. But then she saw something that made her jaw drop.

The shooter was swimming to a huge sphere. So huge it could be like another world! ((HINT HINT)) He swam and sorta hovered around it till a little hole opened and he went in.

Curiosity getting the best of her, she drove her hub closer to the huge sphere.

"Someone's coming."

"I know, I can sense it too, genius."

"WELL THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! GO AND STOP THEM BEFORE THEY GET TO CLOSE!"

"Why don't you just let her come in; if you're so powerful, you can destroy her here, yourself."

"Her?"

"Yes. Her."

"Why, at long last. She's coming back."

"No, idiot. Not that HER. Another HER."

"WELL IF THIS GIRL ISN'T OF ANY IMPORTANT TO US THEN DISPOSE OF HER!"

"Us? No no no no no. This girl has no important to YOU. I want no part of this."

"Well it's to late for that. You've been apart of this for a VERY long time."

The shooter walked back to the entrance he came in from and swam back out just a few inches away from it. The hub was getting closer and closer. "If she comes in we're both in trouble," he reminded himself.

He took a deep breath and took an arrow and stetted it at the tire of her hub.

He closed his eyes, "I'm sorry."

He turned and aimed the arrow at one of the underwater buildings ((They sorta look like upside-down buildings.. I'm pretty sure there was no real name for it)) surrounding the virtual world. A small crack appeared on it; then it began to grow and go all around the building.

"Going for another swim?" She said to herself out loud when the shooter came back out. She saw him draw an arrow; At first she was confused and even squinted to see better what he was doing. But when she saw it was aimed at her, she gasped, "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit," she kept repeating herself as she fumbled with the controls to turn the hub around and leave this crazy shooter to himself.

She thought she heard him let loose the arrow and she closed her eyes tight and feared for the worse. But nothing came at her. her hub was still there, nothing had changed. She wasn't sinking.

When she looked up to see if he was still there; all she saw was a huge wave of water coming at her.

He looked away when the wave crashed into her hub. It pushed her far far away from this place.

"Good job, kid. You're becoming more like me everyday," the voiced came back in his head and laughed.

"I don't even know if that freaking hub could stand a chance against that wave," the shooter choked on his words as a tear came down his face, "What if she never comes back?"

He fell to his knees, "Maya, I'm so sorry," he sobbed into his hands.
