Jeremy Belpois sat on his chair working away on his computer. He was trying to figure out a way to put lasers on the Mega-Pod, without them being to noticeable. He hoped it would be something that could just pop out with the press of a button and fire at approaching monsters and BAM!; they're gone.

"Gahhhhh," Jeremy took a break from typing for a second to rub his eyes under his glasses. Truth be told: he was having a rather hard time with this project. It's not like this was a HARD thing to accomplish. He's done much harder things: create three different types of vehicles, a Code: Earth materialization virus for Aelita, the marabounta, etc. But maybe it was the lack of sleep.

No that couldn't be it. He's gone longer without sleep. Ha, sleep; the word hasn't been in his vocabulary lately.

He turned around and stared longingly at his bed. Maybe for a few minutes?

NO, his inner voice screamed. He had to finish this.

He turned back to his computer and began typing again.

His minded wandered off as his eye lids grew heavy. Something Maya told him a few days ago: You may be the brains of the group, the one who comes up with all the idea, but even the brain needs a break...Don't think you can do all this work n your own. It's okay to ask for help.

He smiled at the thought; maybe he could ask Aelita for help sometime. His eyes began to slowly close; or maybe, maybe even Maya. She's smart and nice and kind and really really pretty-

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Huh?" His eyes widened and he starred at the screen. Oh joy, an activated tower.

He pulled out his cell phone and called Aelita, "Activated Tower, Desert Sector. Tell the others." He ended the call before she could even react.

Great, he sighed, She'll probably get sad-or worried. I should really apolo-

"Jeremy!" A blonde girl smiled as he opened his door. She was wearing a navy blue skirt and matching cardigan and flats with a yellow button up.

"L-Laura!" Was all Jeremy could spit out before she clobbered him in a huge hug.

"W-what are you doing here?" He asked as he scanned his room; mostly his computer. The beeping tower still was there; but he couldn't just run out leaving Laura in his room.

"I came to see you silly!" She looked like she wanted to give him another hug but Jeremy kept his arms crossed.

"You mean you drove all the way from home just to see me?" Jeremy spoke really fast; not even looking Laura in the face; but keeping his eyes on the computer screen.

"No! Ugh, didn't your mom tell you! I transferred to Kadic!"

"WHAT!" Now he did turn his eyes from the computer to her, "WHY?"

Before she could answer he cut her off, "Actually, I'm sorry, but can I talk to you later? I'm really busy."

"What? But who's gonna show me around school?"

"Well, who lead you to my dorm?"

"Some two nerdy looking guys," She groaned, "I mean not cute nerdy like you, but nerdy nerd. I think their names were Nicholas and Herve?"

"Well, great, yeah they're great guys," Jeremy and started walking out the room; pulling Laura out with him, "They can show you around, I'll talk to you later."

"Wait! You left your computer game on!" She called as he ran down the halls.

"That's okay!" He called back and she pouted.

He was running to the park sewer when he bumped into Jim.

"Belpois! I've never seen you run this fast in phys-ed; what's got you so motivated?"

Just the pressure of being the only one who could send the gang in to a virtual world so they can save the world.

"Um, I lost something in the park- it's really important-"

"Oh, is it a loooooove letter," Jim smiled, "Ah, I remember writing love letters in my youth, but I'd rather-"

"Not talk about it, yeah thanks Jimbo. Bye!" Jeremy ran away.

"DON'T CALL ME JIMBO!"

Jeremy was climbing out of the sewers when his phone rang, "Yeah?"

"Einstein where are you?" Odd's voice screamed into his ear.

"Don't worry I just came in the factory," He said as he jumped off the rope and ran towards the elevator and punched the button to bring it up.

"Well, finally!" Odd said and hung up.

"Sorry guys," Jeremy said as he took his seat in the lab.

"Transfer, Scanner, Virtualization!" Yumi, William, and Ulorich landed on Lyoko.

"Jeremy, are you okay?" Aelita asked as she and the other stepped inside the scanners.

"I'm fine."

"What took you so long?" Maya asked.

Jeremy sighed, "I saw an old friend."

"Transfer, Scanner, Virtualization!"

((A/N: okay just for the record: I came up wiht the idea of this story WAYYYY before i knew there would be a new warrior named Laura in CLE. So this Laura isn't like the same one in CLE. Well, she sorta is. And at the same time no? I'll explain her back story later ^.^ oh and sorry in advance for spelling errors!))
