Jake Breaks An Arm.

It was summer, and Jake Stewart was spending some of the day at the Finster house.
They were in the treehouse, playing super heroes.
"Now", Jake told Kimi and Chuckie, "I shall fly."
He did, or jumped, not realizing that he was close to the edge of the treehouse.
He fell, rather then flew, and, not with any style, landing hard on hhis left arm.
Pain shot through it when he tried to move it.
Kira heard his scream, and got him to the hospital as fast as she could.
Lucy, Susie's mother examined it.
"Hair line fracture.", she told them.
"The what?", Jake asked, having not heard the term before.
"Broken arm.", She explained.
A rather large cast was put ont it soon, covering most of the arm, and, he'd have to wear it for a few weeks.
He'd be spending the first night with the cast on back at the Finsters.
Stu decided to help, by re-installing the call buzzer he'd invented for Angelica, when she'd supposedly broken her leg. Jake, who would be using a guest room in an efort to not wake up the kids when he neded to use it, was impressed with some new features Stu had added on to it, such as a mini remote, and a volume control.
Jake tested them out, causing Chaz to run in.
Jake explained what was going on, impressing Chaz.
After dinner, which Kira helped Jake with, seeing as he couldn't hold a fork or glass very well with one hand, he used two hands for drinks, he played with the kids a bit before it was time for his shower. Chaz found an old grocery bag, which Lucy had told them to co ver the cast with when taking a bath or shower.
After that, the babies decided to help Jake dress.
All laughed, when Lil mistook Jake's shorts for his t-shirt.
Boris, who was watching admitted to his wife that he'd done that once, causing both to crack up.
Some time before bed, Kimi neded a diaper change.
"Love to help.", Jake told her, "But I can't do much with one good hand.
Susie offered to help him, and Kimi was cleaned in no time, and put into a fresh diaper.
Unlike Angelica, Jake didn't misuse Stu's buzzer during the night, accept for his elbow accidentally banging into it a few times and activating it, until Chaz found the problem, and moved it to a nightstand so it wouldn't be in the way.
He slept rather well during the night, only needing help to use the bathroom twice.
Next day, his parents came back early from their trip. It soon turned out that Karen, his mother had had an issue with a kyak, resulting in a broken leg.
She wasn't misusing the buzzer either, and, at home, Jake did what he could with one hand, able to at least get her a drink ready for her lunch.
He knew his arm would heal in time, as well as her leg.
