Hello. I apologise once again for taking so long to update. Major, major writers block. I hope this chapter makes up for it. It has a bit of everything. A confrontation, reconnection and some sexy time, some cute family time, a couple of cameos from my favourite characters and just because I can't stand her, a little bit of Leah hate! After the next chapter which will be the Harper Avery dinner there will be an epilogue and then this will be done. It really was a one shot that took on a mind of its own and I would like to thank you all for your encouragement in continuing. On a personal note, I am having my gallbladder out on Monday morning so I don't know when I will be able to update again. It all depends on how well I recover and if I can even get out of bed. Other than that, thank you for your comments and for those on my other story "The Talk." I am considering expanding that one for a few chapters after I finish this one. Till next time, Tigersforever.

"Hello Lauren. Let's talk."

Arizona finished making a note in the chart and led Lauren down the hallway to her office. She closed the door and was about to sit behind her desk when Lauren got in her personal space, moving Arizona backwards until she was trapped against the wall. Lauren smiled and leaning in for a kiss before Arizona gently pushed her away and gave herself room.

"Whoa, okay, you need to back off. I didn't ask you to talk so we could have sex. I need to make that very clear."

Lauren smiled and moved forward again, still trying to kiss Arizona. "Then why did you? You know you want this Arizona, I can feel it."

Arizona pushed her away a little more forcefully this time, her voice rising until it was nearly a shout. "I SAID STOP."

Lauren put up her hands in surrender and frowned as Arizona moved away and sat behind her desk, Lauren finally taking a seat on the chair in front, her hands in her lap while she waited for Arizona to speak.

"I asked you here so I could explain. What you and I did was the worst thing I ever did in my life and it will never happen again. I hurt the woman I loved beyond all measure and I just thank my lucky stars she's giving me another chance. I know that I encouraged you and I am every bit to blame for what happened between us, but rest assured it is never happening again. If you have any common decency you will back off and leave me and my family alone."

Lauren looked at Arizona and let a smirk cross her face. "I think maybe you do want it again Arizona. We could be something very special, you just have to give us a chance. I promise we won't get caught this time."

Arizona shook her head at the delusional woman sitting before her. "I don't think you get it Lauren. I used you. I know you probably think you charmed your way into my pants, having all these things in common with me and having the same kind of background and habits but the fact is I knew what I was doing in that on call room. It was impulsive of me to kiss you but once the ball was rolling I was in control and I did it to hurt my wife. I could've and should've walked away when I had a chance to but I didn't and you telling me I could lose control had nothing to do with it. I made the choice. You were nothing more than the weapon I used to wound my wife. I've heard about the games you like to play with people's lives, taking advantage of their vulnerabilities until you get what you want and then you leave town, onto your next victim, well I'm not one of those. I may have fallen for your bullshit once but I learn from my mistakes and believe me when I say I will never make that mistake again."

Lauren still had a smirk on her face as she leaned forward. "It wasn't a mistake Arizona. I have feelings for you, real feelings."

Arizona rolled her eyes. "Just leave Dr Boswell. I don't want to hear anymore of your lies."

Lauren leaned back in her chair, her arms folded across her chest, frustrated that Arizona wasn't falling for her lines. "And let me guess, it was Erica Hahn who told you lies about me. I saw you talking to her and that wife of hers today. You can't believe a word she says. We really could be something special. Please don't listen to her."

Lauren tried to clasp Arizona's hand but she quickly pulled it away as she sighed. "It doesn't matter who told me, I don't want any part of it or you. Do all of us a favour, do what you came here to do, then leave this hospital and never come back. But most of all, leave me and my family alone."

Arizona rounded the desk and opened the door, Lauren slowly rising and moving over to where Arizona stood. "I know it was Hahn who told you about me. The only reason she did was because her wife Natalie and I shared a moment before she told me she was married. She's using you to get back at me. Think about it Arizona and think about this. When you're ready to reconsider, I'll be waiting."

Arizona shook her head at the arrogance of her one time lover. "Lauren." Lauren turned back, her eyebrows raised in a silent question. "The sex...it was lousy."

Lauren looked beyond shocked as Arizona shut the door, hoping that was the last she would have to see of Lauren Boswell but knowing it probably wasn't. Arizona sat back down in her chair and sighed. She really hoped Lauren would take the hint and leave her alone. Things with Callie were finally on the right track. She had acknowledged her PTSD, she talked about all the things that led her to make the biggest mistake of her life, not only her wife but with her patient and understanding therapist Stacy and she was proving to Callie, day by day, that she could be trusted again. And Callie was finally ready to let her in all the way so they could reconnect physically. Arizona sighed again and turned on her computer, deciding to get some work done before she went home after what had been both an interesting and stressful day.

Callie finished her surgery, a clean out on a frozen shoulder and decided to surprise Arizona. She knew her wife would most likely be in her office this time of day so she headed to the Peads floor with a cup of coffee and a muffin just in time to see Lauren Boswell standing outside Arizona's office, looking at the closed door. Lauren took one last glance at Arizona's office door before she looked up and met Callie's eyes, her smug smile returning. If she couldn't have Arizona she'd make sure nobody else wanted her either. Callie took a breath and held her head high as she walked past her nemesis, Mark's words from long ago echoing in her ear. "Walk tall Torres, walk tall." As their paths collided Lauren couldn't help herself. She leaned over discretely, only whispering loud enough for Callie to hear.

"You might want to give her a minute. I wore her out real good."

And just like a red cape being waved in front of a bull, Callie saw red. She wheeled around, dropped the coffee and muffin on the floor, the liquid spilling around her feet as she grabbed Lauren by the scruff of her shirt and pushed her forcefully against the wall, holding her in place as she spoke, their faces inches apart and Callie's voice only just below that of a roar.

"Listen up and listen good bitch, leave my wife alone. She doesn't want you, so do us all a favour and fuck off."

Lauren's self-righteous smile was still firmly plastered on her face as she finally spoke up, her shock at being thrown against the wall having worn off. "I don't think you get it, Dr Torres. Arizona practically begged me to fuck her in that on call room and it's only a matter of time before it happens again. Your wife wants me and I am happy to oblige."

Callie's and Lauren's shouts had drawn a crowd. Nurses, other doctors and even some patients had gathered around to see what the commotion was. Arizona had joined them as well, the sight of her wife holding Lauren against the wall both terrifying and a turn on at the same time. Arizona finally reached Callie and put her hand on her elbow, pulling Callie away gently as she released her grip on Lauren and started to walk away. Lauren straightened the top of her shirt as one last barb escaped her mouth.

"Hey Arizona. When you're ready for a good fuck again give me a call."

The red flag was waved again and before Arizona could lead her pissed off wife away from the situation Callie turned back, retraced the steps she had just taken and was about to punch Lauren Boswell in the face when Arizona put her hand on her forearm and stopped her, Lauren cowering at the threat of a broken nose.

"Please Callie, don't. She's not worth it."

Callie looked at her pleading wife. "You're right, she's not. Show's over everyone. Come on honey, let's get Sofia and go home."

Callie asked a nurse for a rag to clean the floor before she took Arizona's hand, the gathered crowd dispersing and the nurses already gossiping as a shaken Lauren got out of Dodge while she had the chance. Arizona couldn't understand Lauren Boswell. She's just finished telling her that there was absolutely nothing between them and that the sex was lousy and yet she still couldn't get it through her thick skull to leave well enough alone. She had to keep pushing to the point of physical violence, or at the least the very real threat of it. She guessed some people just never learned.

Arizona and Callie strolled to the elevators and to the day care, Callie having cooled down rather quickly once she held their daughter after picking her up. Sofia chatted away to her mommies about her day as they walked the short distance to their home, her innocence just the ticket Callie needed to put the whole sordid affair out of her mind for the time being. After dinner, bathing Sofia and putting their little girl to bed, Callie and Arizona settled on the couch together, lounging around in sweat shirts and jeans, both of them needing to wind down after the day they had. Callie sipped her wine while Arizona did the same, the television on low, its flickering lights the only illumination in the room. They were both contemplating everything that had happened that day when Arizona told her about the confrontation she had with Lauren and the revelation about having a past with Natalie.

Callie sipped her wine as she digested the information. "Well that explains why Erica hates her so much." Callie told Arizona about her little encounter with Dr Bradley Smith earlier that day.

Arizona leaned slightly away from Callie and looked at her wife wide-eyed and a little shocked. "So, he was flirting with the you the whole time and then he asked you to dinner?"

Callie chuckled and put her hand on Arizona's thigh, rubbing up and down lightly. "Yeah. I have to admit it was flattering but that's all it was. What you did to me Arizona, it hurt so much and for a long time I didn't think I could forgive you for it, but when he was flirting with me and paying me compliment after compliment I understood why you did it. It's nice to have someone paying attention to you, making you feel special and like you're the only person in the world. And there have been times in my life where I used sex to make myself feel better or just to feel something, anything, but it never really worked. It just made me feel worst and in the end all my problems would still be waiting for me when it was over. The only time anything good came out of that kind of situation was when I got pregnant with Sofia. I just wish you had have told me what was going on so we could've talked about it like we do now."

Arizona's head dropped before she met Callie's eyes. "You have no idea how much I wish for the same thing. It was almost like the world was always crashing down on top of me and no matter how hard I tried or how hard you tried to help me nothing could get that weight off my shoulders. I hated you so much because of my stupid leg, but when I look back now I see how selfish I was being. You made a decision that saved my life and because of that I get see my baby grow up. I get to live, unlike Lexy or Mark and I have you. I may not be the same person I was before all of this but I love you with everything I have inside me and no matter how long I live I'll never stop proving to you I'm worthy of the second chance you've given me."

Callie sighed and took Arizona's hand, kissing the palm. "I'm sorry that I didn't understand what you were going through and I'm sorry there were times when I didn't listen to what you where trying to tell me. I missed the signs didn't I? When you were trying to tell me how unhappy you were, with me, with everything."

Arizona took Callie's hand and returned the favour. "Yeah, but that is in the past. We both made mistakes and I didn't tell you what I was going through so how on Earth could you possible understand it. But that is something that will never happen again. We're beyond the miscommunications and the distrust and we're right where we should be."

Callie leaned over and kissed Arizona, their lips meeting lightly before the kiss deepened, their tongues gently coming together as they slowly explored each other. Arizona leaned back on the couch, Callie hovering over her before Arizona gently pulled her down on top of her. Their kisses continued as Arizona tangled her hands through Callie hair, one of Callie's hands caressing her wife's cheek while the other played with her collar-bone. Things were getting heated quickly when Callie pulled back. Arizona was worried Callie was going to stop like she had been for the past few months when things got too hot under the collar but she was surprised when instead Callie stared at her intently.

"I don't want to wait for Valentines Day."

Arizona laid there quietly as Callie continued. "I want to make love to you right now."

Arizona nodded yes as Callie kissed her once more before moving off of her and standing, offering her hand for Arizona to take. Arizona accepted with a wide smile as the two of them headed to their bedroom. It wasn't about the act of sex, but instead the final step Callie needed to take in order to the leave the past behind and forgive her wife. For Arizona it was the acknowledgement that Callie had indeed forgiven her and they could move on and build on the steps they had taken and be all the stronger for it.

Callie led her wife to their bedroom and shut the door. Callie backed Arizona up until she was against the wall, her hands under Arizona's arms, her palms flat against the wall as their kisses resumed. Arizona pulled Callie's sweatshirt over her head as both of them reached down and unfastened the button of their jeans, pulling the zippers down simultaneously. Callie smiled into a kiss before bringing her hands around and cupping Arizona's ass, squeezing the cheeks before lifting Arizona up until her legs surrounded Callie's hips and her arms circled the Latina's neck. Callie brought the two of them over to the bed, Callie siting on the edge with Arizona straddling her. Callie leaned up and captured Arizona's lips again before pulling her shirt off, placing kisses all over Arizona's neck and shoulders as Arizona leaned her head back to give Callie better access.

Arizona pulled back and stood up, Callie pulling her pants down her legs until Arizona stood before her in panties and a bra. Arizona leaned down to kiss the ruby lips of her once again lover before pushing Callie playfully back on the bed so she could pull Callie's pants off too, both now nearly exposed to each other. Arizona pulled the prosthetic from her residual limb and climbed on top of Callie as they exchanged tender kisses, leaving behind trails of goose bumps as hands gently caressed the exposed skin. Callie and Arizona took their time with each other, exploring each and every curve like it was their first time.

They spent hours that night reconnecting physically and emotionally, finally becoming one again. They laid tangled in the afterglow, wrapped tightly together, both needing the contact to make sure it wasn't a dream. They finally fell asleep in the early hours of the morning, exhausted but happy in the knowledge that the hard work they had done, both together and separately, to repair their relationship and marriage had been worth it.

Arizona woke the next morning alone, the sheets on Callie's side of the bed cool. Arizona sighed and felt the soreness from the night before creeping in, the good kind of soreness that happens when the woman you love loves you back and takes you to the heights of extasy and then holds you while you come back down and then you return the favour with gusto. Arizona felt the smile creep across her face as she replayed everything that had transpired the night before. Just as Arizona was about to pull back the blankets and drag herself out of bed, a voice coming from the doorway startled her. Callie stood there, leaning against the frame with a smirk on her face.

"Hey, good morning."

Arizona rose up, the sheets covering her breasts as she smiled at her wife. "A very good morning to you too." Arizona looked at the clock and then back at Callie. "Why are you up so early? I thought you'd been dead to the world after last night."

Callie came into the room and sat on the bed, stealing a quick kiss from Arizona. "I was, but miss Sofia woke me up. In fact, she's outside waiting for me to let her know it's safe to come in. So put on some clothes and I'll go get her."

Callie picked up the clothes from the night before and threw them to Arizona. Arizona slid the shirt over her head and started to slide the pants up her leg and over her stump.

"What are you two up to anyway?"

Callie smiled again. "You'll see."

Arizona pulled out the tendrils of hair caught in her shirt and sat up straight. Callie went back out into the hall and a moment later Sofia came through the bedroom door, very carefully carrying a tray with a bowl of cereal and a couple of pieces of toast with strawberry jam. It wasn't anything fancy but it was a sight which warmed Arizona's heart. Callie carried a cup of hot coffee in her hands as Sofia rounded the bed, her concentration absolute as she handed her Mama the tray.

"What's all this for?"

Sofia shrugged as Callie put the coffee on the side table and helped Sofia climb on the bed. Callie sat next to their little girl as Arizona took a bite of her toast and a sip of her coffee.

"Sofia, tell your Mama what you told me. Why you wanted to make breakfast for your Mama."

Sofia shyly looked at her Mama. "I just happy we a family again."

Arizona looked at her little girl in awe. Arizona put down her toast and moved the tray to the side as Callie looked on at the happy family moment. Arizona pulled Sofia into a hug, squeezing her baby girl until she squirmed. Arizona let her go and pushed the unruly hair behind her daughter's ears and kissed her cheek. Callie placed Sofia in her lap as Arizona resumed eating her breakfast. She took a bite of her cereal and looked over at a smiling Sofia.

"Mmm, yummy. This is so good, you should be a chef big girl."

Sofia giggled as Callie stole a piece of Arizona's toast and broke off a section for Sofia, Arizona's breakfast in bed becoming a family affair. Eventually they got out of the bed and carried on with their day. Arizona had Sofia's hand in hers while they waiting for the elevator as April and Matthew emerged from next door. Arizona smiled at their friends as Callie did the same.

"Hey April, how are you feeling?"

April cringed and put her hand on her tummy which wasn't showing quite yet at just over three months along. "Well, at least the morning sickness isn't as bad now, but I still feel like crap."

Matthew loving put his hand on her stomach, gently rubbing as April looked up at him with a smile. "And Matthew has been so patient and considerate, I don't know how I would've gotten through it without him."

Matthew smiled right back at his wife and leaned down to kiss her. "I just do what I can."

Callie grinned along with Arizona until she remembered she left her phone in the apartment. As soon as she left April leaned over to whisper in Arizona's ear. "Are you pregnant too?"

Arizona chuckled. "No, why do you ask?"

April waved her hands around Arizona's face. "Because you have this glow about you." April put her hands over her mouth. "Oh my God! The two of you...you finally...yay! I'm so happy for you both."

April pulled a surprised Arizona into a tight hug, releasing her grip on Sofia as Callie came back out with her phone. "What's going on?"

"I'll tell you later." Arizona smiled at Callie as the elevator arrived, noticing her wife had the same glow she had so it wasn't a surprise that one of her dearest friends noticed the change in them. They bid farewell to the newlyweds, Arizona taking Sofia's hand again, Callie's arm around her shoulder while they made their way to the park down the street. Sofia loved the swings and the slide, both Callie and Arizona taking turns to push her and catch her when she came down the slide. They sat together on a picnic blanket while Sofia and a couple of other kids dug around in the sandbox, Arizona in between Callie's legs, their fingers intertwined over her stomach. Arizona leaned back against Callie's chest and let out a contented sigh.

"We should try having another kid again."

Callie was quiet for a moment before she kissed the side of Arizona's neck and leaned her head on her shoulder. "Do you think we're ready for that?"

Arizona turned and could see the hesitation in Callie's face which was only natural after everything she had gone through with the miscarriage and their separation. Arizona cupped her wife's cheek, gently stoking it with her thumb.

"I think we are. We're in a good place, no a great place and I think it's time our family gets a little bit bigger. And if anything should happen to go wrong, we'll be there to support each other and we'll make it out the other side. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be, but I would love it if we tried." Arizona nervously bit her lip. "What do you think?"

Callie smiled and leaned forward to capture Arizona's lips in a sweet kiss. "Seeing little Steven yesterday and having April next door, I have to admit I've had the same thoughts a few times about having a squishy little baby in the house again. It's a pity you can't knock me up. After last night, I would be pregnant for sure."

Laughter erupted from Arizona as Callie joined in, Sofia completing the trio when she ran over from the sandpit and jumped all over her mommies. Soon enough their leisurely day had to end and the business of saving lives had to start. After giving Sofia a bath Callie and Arizona said their goodbyes as the babysitter came over to be with their daughter. They entered the lobby and waited for the elevator, their hands linked as it finally arrived. Seeing they had the elevator to themselves Callie couldn't help but take advantage of it. She pushed Arizona to the back of the car and captured her lips in a deep kiss, their moans echoing around the confined space, Arizona's hands tangling in Callie's hair while Callie's creeped down and pulled Arizona closer with her hands on her wife's waist, squeezing her hips. The elevator dinged before they could go any further, Callie leaving first but not before blowing Arizona a kiss and walking away with a little extra sway in her hips. Arizona was thankful she still had the elevator to herself so no one would see the deep blush that took over her whole face at her wife's flirtatious ways and the make out session that left her most decidedly wanting more. Arizona made it to the Peads floor, still feeling flushed as she finally found Alex so she could catch up on the evening rounds. Alex handed her the charts, Arizona perusing the cases as she hummed a song to herself. Alex grinned and leaned in close, a sing-song quality to his voice.

"Somebody got laid."

Arizona looked up at her protegé, her blush returning. "Alex! Shut up."

"Oh you so did, don't even try to deny it. It's about time you and Torres got your ya ya's on. I'm happy for you both."

Arizona groaned and closed the chart. "This is the last time we ever talk about my sex life. Just lead the rounds so you can home okay."

Arizona gave Alex a little shove, their playfulness and teasing coming through their banter. "You think you'd be in a better mood after you got some."

Arizona gave Alex a glare before swatting him on the arm and pointing a finger at him. "Rounds or I get a brick dude."

Alex laughed at her empty threat. "Fine. Okay, first we have an appy..."

While Arizona followed Alex and worked out her schedule for the night Callie was in the pit doing a consult with Cristina on a patient who had a heart attack while driving and badly broken his leg when the car crashed. Callie was feeling around for the extent of the injury when she started to hum the same song Arizona had been humming on the Peads floor. Cristina looked at her former room-mate, her eyebrow raised as she recognised Callie and Arizona's 'I just had sex song'. Cristina smirked to herself before meeting Callie's eyes.

"Well, well, well. Looks like someone got on the happy train to orgasmville."

Callie looked around to make sure nobody else heard the comment, a half smirk coming across her face before she went back to helping the patient. Cristina smiled too before she put her stethoscope around her neck and gave Callie's arm a squeeze.

"I heard about you and Boswell yesterday. Are you and Arizona okay?"

"You know the answer to that."

Cristina laughed. "Yeah well, that song is one I've heard way too many times."

Callie removed the gloves from her hands and threw them into the bin. "I had Owen and Catherine Avery ream me out for yesterday as soon as I got here but I'm not gonna let that woman wreck my good mood. I've been told to stay away from her but I swear if she comes near me or Arizona tomorrow night all bets are off."

"Good for you, kick her butt. I'm glad you and Arizona are doing okay again. Makes me think there's hope for even me."

"Thanks Cristina and I have faith you will find someone who's perfect for you too, it's only a matter of time. So we should get this guy into the OR, I need to fix this leg ASAP."

Cristina nodded and followed Callie. "I'll come with you, monitor his heart for any complications."

"Lets do it."

On the Peads floor Arizona was giving the parents of her appy patient an update, letting them know their kid was just fine and they could see their little girl very soon. She handed the chart to the nurse and turned around to find Natalie with a napping Steven in his stroller.

"Hey, what are you two doing here?"

Natalie pushed her diaper bag higher up on her shoulder. "Erica is jumping through a few more hoops for the foundation so I thought I'd take a peek at your Peads department. I like what I see so far."

"Well then, let me give you the full tour."

An hour later Arizona joined Natalie and a now awake Steven in the parents room so Nat could feed the baby. He accepted the offered spoon of mashed up food, noisily munching away as Arizona told Nat about her encounter with Lauren the day before, making sure to give her the rundown on Lauren's accusation that Erica was only trying to get back at her and not to believe her so-called lies. Natalie shook her head when she finished, wiping her son's little mouth.

"I did have an encounter with Lauren and it's one I wish never happened. She sucked me in real good and I felt like the world's biggest moron for falling for it."

Arizona cleared her throat and squirmed a little in her chair. "What happened, if you don't mind me asking."

"No, it's okay. I lost my paternal grandmother when I was 5, my mother's parents had died before I was even born and then I lost my mother to cancer when I was 14 and my father in a car accident when I was 17. All I really had left in this world was my grandfather Steven. He was everything to me. He helped me through college, he was my biggest supporter and he never let me down. He died suddenly just after I married Erica and before we had this little guy."

"I'm sorry to hear all that happened to you. You seem so well-adjusted for someone who's lost so much in their life."

"Thank you. I refuse to feel sorry for myself. I look at this way, there are some people in this world who were never loved at all and even though I only had some of the people in my life for a short time at least I know I was loved. They taught me life lessons before I was ready but it made me stronger, made me want to help people so they didn't have to go through what I did. It wasn't until I lost my grandfather that I ever felt sorry for myself."

Natalie wiped at a tear that rolled down her cheek as Arizona listened quietly. "He had been in good health and I thought he'd be around forever but one day he went to sleep and just never woke up. I was inconsolable and no matter what Erica did or how hard she tried she couldn't understand what I was going through. Beside patients she had never lost someone close to her so she just didn't get it. I got mad when she tried to help me, if she tried to get me out of my funk I pushed her away and it only made me start to hate her. That's when I met Dr Lauren Boswell."

Arizona cringed, it sounded exactly the way she felt after losing her leg. No matter what Callie did she just couldn't understand what she was going through and it did make her push Callie away.

"She came for a week to do a two-part reconstruction on a one year old who'd been mauled by a dog. I think it was the third day she was there she found me crying because some kid said how much she loved her grandpa. I lost it and she comforted me, telling me how she'd heard from the nurses about my grandfather and how she'd lost her grandmother a month before and how she didn't think she would ever get over it. We had this connection, or at least she made it seem that way. I mean, I don't even know if she really did lose her grandmother. Anyway, the more time I spent with her the more it became obvious that she liked me and then, she kissed me. At that point I told her I was married but she kept on pursuing me anyway. I was confused, she seemed to know so much else about me yet she claimed she didn't know about me being married. I told her I loved my wife and even though we were in a rough patch I would never cheat on her. So then she tells me that when we're grieving it's okay to lose control, that we can do things we normally wouldn't when our lives have been turned upside down. I walked away and never looked back. I told Erica that night and of course she wanted to kick her ass but I talked her out of it. I let Erica in after that, we talked about everything and it made us stronger, a better couple than we had ever been. We made the decision to have a baby not long after that and the rest is history. I'm just so thankful I walked away when I did, who knows what my life would be like if I had let myself lose control. "

Arizona sighed. "I did though. I used her to punish Callie and the worst part is I knew what I was doing and I lied about not knowing for a long time. Lauren did the same with me. Knowing so much about me and having all these amazing connections and coincidences, she made me feel good about myself, something I hadn't felt in a long time. I should never have done what I did and I own that mistake, but when I look back I feel like you do. I was an idiot and selfish and the only reason I'm still married is my wife is an amazing person with the biggest and most forgiving heart in the world."

Natalie put a comforting hand on Arizona's arm. "I know I've only known you and Callie for a day but anyone with eyes can see how much you love each other. You have something special and yeah, okay, you did something horrible but you can't let it rule your lives. Forget about Lauren Boswell, don't give her another thought. She'll be gone in a day and you'll never have to see her again. She doesn't deserve another minute of your time or energy."

"You're right, she doesn't. I told her to leave me alone, even Callie had a confrontation with her and told her to leave me alone. If she doesn't take the hint I might just let Callie kick her butt after all."

Natalie laughed, Steven joining in with his Mama even though he didn't understand why he was laughing. "Yeah, I heard about the incident from yesterday. That's the other reason I came to your department. I wanted to make sure you and Callie were okay."

Arizona had never respected a virtual stranger more in her life. "We are just fine, in fact better than ever and I really appreciate you asking about us."

Natalie smiled. "Here, have a hold of Steve. He's a bit of a squirmer but he always makes me feel better."

Arizona accepted Steven with a smile and held him up so she could get a better look at him. She really did want Callie to consider trying again for another baby. Their family was already perfect as it was but another member couldn't hurt. If they could just get through the Harper Avery Award Dinner maybe things would be okay and they could get on with their lives. Natalie excused herself not long after to meet with Erica and return to her hotel with a promise to catch up the next night at the awards dinner.

Arizona received a text just after, a rather explicit message from Callie complete with a description of what she wanted to do to Arizona. Her heart skipped a beat as she hustled to the on call room and was dragged inside as soon as she stepped across the threshold. The door was locked and her lips met those of her wife's, their kisses deep and desperate, tongues dueling as they continued to kiss. Callie paused to take a breath and brought her wife over to the bed, their kisses resuming as she lowered Arizona to the bed and laid on top of her. Callie finally pulled away again and rested her forehead on Arizona's.

"Hi."

Arizona leaned up and kissed Callie chastely on the lips. "Hey yourself." Arizona pushed a stray hair behind Callie's ear as she stared at her wife. "How's your night going?"

Callie shrugged. "Aside from a lecture from Owen and Catherine Avery, nothing too bad."

Arizona held Callie's face in her hands. "Are you alright?"

Callie pecked Arizona's lips. "I'm fine. I've just been told to stay away from Boswell at the dinner tomorrow night."

Arizona looked up at Callie with a cheeky smile. "How about we sneak off every chance we get and make out. That should make the night fly by."

"Deal." Callie kissed Arizona's cheek, placed a peck on the other side and started to trail kisses down her neck and across her collarbone. Arizona moaned as she tried to tell Callie about her day, giving her the run down on what Natalie had told her about her experience with Lauren. Callie stopped her ministrations for a moment, shook her head in disbelief and sighed.

"Do me a favour. The next time you cheat on me, can you do it with someone not so insane."

Arizona snorted with laughter and pulled Callie back down on top of her, their bodies grinding together as clothes were removed and thrown all over the room. Callie's hand drifted down Arizona's body, her fingers circling her clit. Arizona's hips bucked under Callie's actions, her moans increasing in intensity with every movement Callie made. Arizona's hips were moving wildly, Callie's fingers now thrusting into Arizona as she neared her orgasm. Arizona's legs circled Callie's lower back and her arms went around her neck, holding tight to her wife as she reached her peak, Callie kissing her hard before Arizona pulled away and yelled out.

"Oh fuck yes! God I missed that."

Outside the on call room doctors Wilson and Murphy were looking at each other, not quite knowing how to handle this situation. They needed Dr Robbins for a consult and they were told she was in the room they stood outside of, the nurses at the station behind them so used to the antics of the doctors they didn't bat an eyelid to the goings on. After knocking once and not receiving a reply, only the sounds of two people having a really good time, they were at a loss. Should they knock again or wait? Leah turned to Jo and pointed at the door.

"You knock this time."

Jo shook her head. "No way. I say we just wait for her to come out and pretend we didn't hear any of that."

Leah shrugged and leaned against the nurses station. "So do you think she's in there with that Boswell chick? I heard about that thing they had yesterday. Do you think her and Dr Torres will break up again?"

Jo rolled her eyes. "You need to get over this little crush you have on Dr Robbins. Besides, I heard her and Dr Torres are solid again."

Leah pointed to the door. "Yeah, but that, didn't sound like she was with Dr Torres. That sounded like she was with someone she hadn't seen for a while. Maybe I can finally make a move."

Jo rolled her eyes again, knowing full well from speaking with Alex earlier that night that Arizona and Callie had reconnected on a physical level and that in all likelihood Dr Robbins was currently having sex with her wife. As much as Jo liked Leah she needed to get a life and stop going after people who were out of her reach. It was bordering on pathetic at this point.

"I think you should keep your thoughts to yourself before someone tells Dr Torres. After what went down with her and Boswell I wouldn't want to get on her bad side."

Leah turned her back on the on call room door as a now redressed but still slightly disheveled Callie and Arizona emerged from the room. "Well I don't care about Dr Torres. I think I have a shot with Robbins. She and I had a moment."

Callie stood behind the second year resident, her hands folded across her chest and a smirk on her face, Jo finding the floor suddenly very interesting. "Oh really Dr Murphy. I'd love to hear more about this but I have to go. I believe you're on my service next week so how about you tell me all about it then."

Leah gulped as Callie turned back to her wife and kissed Arizona on the mouth, a small moan escaping her as they pulled apart. "And I'll see you at home."

Arizona smiled, her dimples popping. "Oh you most certainly will." Arizona leaned up and whispered in her wife's ear. "And at that time the favour you just did me will be returned threefold. So if I were you I'd try to save some energy tonight, you're gonna need it."

A shiver ran down Callie's spine as she grinned at Arizona before turning away but not without a glare at Leah. Arizona watched as Callie walked away, mesmerised by her wife's butt before finally turning her attention to the two residents waiting for her, one suddenly very silent and the other amused by the whole thing.

Arizona clapped her hands and rubbed them together before placing them in her pockets. "Okay, what have you got for me?"

One thing you could never say about Grey & Sloan Memorial Hospital, there was never a dull moment and they still had to host the Harper Avery Award dinner the next night so the fun was far from over. That you could most definitely count on.
