Discontinuation and The Future

To everyone who has been reading the story, "Bloody Profit" since its creation back in November 2015, I thank you in true spirit and appreciation for keeping up with the story of Thomas Marston and friends. Believe me, I could have never anticipated over ninety reviews since its release and I am glad of that. I thank you for being the loyal readers you have been, but its time I came honest with you all about why I've been absent in over a year and why I've given this 'chapter' the name it deserves (if you're counting the last TRUE update "Bloody Profit" received around March of last year).

Around Summer of 2016, I had given updated the story with an update that to this day, hasn't been fulfilled. Reason being, I was being faced with a personal dilemma that had greatly impeded my chances of updating the story for the foreseeable future. The dilemma being that I had wanted to drop out of college as I wanted to pursue a full-time music career, which left my parents very pissed off. After a two-hour argument on whether I should drop out (not to mention nearing a mental breakdown), I conceded to their wishes and decided to move on. To that end, I pushed myself to get through my fall semester to continue with my second year at my community college. Due to the circumstances at the time, I placed the priority of updating "Bloody Profit" at the back of my mind, only to update the chapter at random intervals.

The chapter that you all have been waiting on for so long is 90% of the way done. Unfortunately, I've lost the passion to continue finish working on the chapter since early March. I'm very sure you will not see this story updated for a long time to come and I apologize for that. I'm considering giving up the story to someone else to complete and giving a fresher take on it than I ever could. If there's anything that's drawing me back to FanFiction right now, I'd say the Titanfall video game series. There's a minimum amount of lore, but the worldbuilding is quite interesting to say the least (not to mention the giant mini-mecha robots known as 'Titans' and the IMC-Militia conflict). The only thing I've done with Titanfall right now is make at least one character, but nothing more than that. I'm still exploring my options though.

To everyone reading this, I thank you for taking the time to do so. "Bloody Profit" is on discontinuation until further notice or if someone takes the reins of the story.
