(10 am of December 26th)

Emil woke up to a bunch of texts from Leon. It was rather late in the morning and it was his fault for staying up so late. Yesterday had been so eventful he could hardly even sleep. Usually he would wait a bit before replying but one of them caught his eyes.

Okay well, i have licorice and I'm going to to share once i get there.

I'm totally waking you up if i have to.

Emil groaned as he facepalmed. They have been texting all of last night and talking about each other and what type of couple Lukas and Matthias would be. And were going to attempt to set the two up because, if it was left up to those two it would take a millenia and a half. Little did the teens know of the heartfelt confession the older teens had made to each other. Lukas of course had work today but Matthias was home getting all his work done before they went back to school.

Ah, there a discomforting thought. See, Kevin would return from his suspension. It has been quiet without him since Daniel and Terry had been very calm the last few weeks leading up to the holidays. He hadn't seen them at all actually. It was kind of weird but he had an awful feeling that something bad was going to happen. Like something actually terrible would happen. It was an awful gut feeling and something he would have to talk to his brother about later.

The doorbell went off which interrupted his thought and made him dash downstairs. Mr Kohler was about to get the door. "Oh hey, Emil. Did you sleep well?" He asked politely. Emil nodded with a small smile. It really has been a while since an adult has asked him that. It was pleasantly surprising to the teenager.

"Expecting anyone?" He asked as they walked to the door.

"Oh, I probably should have asked but it's my best friend Leon. Sorry for the intrusion." Emil said timidly looking down. Now would be the time he usually got an earful for things but instead Mr Kohler chuckled and pat his back.

"Son, it's fine. This is your home and your friends are welcomed." It was strange but Emil super comfortable with that sentence. It was probably the most he had been welcomed in by an adult so it was odd for him. He had a small but genuine smile.

He opened the door to see Leon there with two paper bags that had food and sweets. A larger smile gracing his face at the site of his best friend at the porch with his favorite foods. Leon glanced at him and then at the adult next to Emil.

"Wow, did Mathias from the past just happened to come by?" He asked a bit taken back since he wasn't expecting to see Mr Kohler there. Axel was very amused by the comment. He laughed a bit as Emil took one of the bags.

"No, but I am his father, Axel Kohler." He stretched his hand out to the asian teen. Leon shook it because he could tell if he fist bumped the older man Emil would probably tell Yao. The older Kohler had a firm handshake as did Leon which made Axel smile.

"This is Leon."Emil decided to introduce him since Leon was still thinking.

"Pleasure to meet you Leon. do you come here often?" Axel asked letting the teen in watching as Emil seemed to stay very close to Leon. Interesting..

"Leon!" Matthias chirped from up the stairs. Even for the usual happy dane that tone was happier than usual. "Come to get wasted in mario kart again?"

Axel raised an eyebrow at his son. Suspiciously happy. Emil snorted a little bit. Ah their victim number one was up and very happy this morning. Leon smirked at the nerd. "Only if you are prepared to lose. Had Lukas gone to work already? We will need him around when I throw a blue shell at you."

That got the dane bright red. Axel chuckled at his son's reaction and Leon's comments. Emil smirked too as the dane looked like he was internally screaming. "Leon, you're on."

(4 pm of the 26th of December)

Freya and Axel had gone out for a dinner date, something Emil found adorable. Mathias had also called Berwald and Tino over so they could have a small friend get together. Besides he knew that Berwald was probably thanking him that he had time away from home and studies. Tino had texted him telling him about it. So he kindly asked berwald's mother. It must have been after they received his grades. Matthias was lucky that Luke had moved a bit that morning and woke him up early enough to get the mail before his parents. It was like waking up to heaven. With kisses and cuddles. It made it almost impossible to let Lukas go to work. The norwegian however was much better with self control. It left the dane dazed and very happy. He was in the living room with Emil, Leon. They had been asking about Lukas but he didn't know if he should tell them or not that Lukas and him were a thing yet.

"You should ask him on those cute dinner dates." Leon suggested as he was on the lead followed closely by Emil and not too far from Matthias. He was playing as Yoshi, Emil as Toad and Matthias as Princess Peach.

"Like the one from lady and the tramp?" Matt asked grinning at Leon. The younger teen snorted and then got banana peeled by Emil.

"Emmy! NOOOO!" He screamed in despair as he flew into the air and was miles away from catching up now. Emil was crimson at the terrible nickname. "My waifu. Betrayed me. This is why I have trust issues."

Emil snorted and shoved Leon a bit. Leon grinned at his blushing bride. Gosh, if he said that he would get turned into sushi if he said that. Emil was leading now and was shaking his head at him. "Betrayal for using that god awful nickname. And no, Lukas doesn't like things too fancy except if it's just you and him. He is more elegance and simplicity."

Mathias hummed a little. Emil was definitely right. Though, he hadn't exactly been thinking simple but he made up for it with his thoughtfulness. Like the dance in the living room or the record player. He had honestly been looking for it for months prior and only got it delivered a few days before Christmas. Imagine the amount of times it had slipped up. It was hard work keeping things from Lukas.

"What about like a picnic at the beach?" Leon threw another suggestion. He was slowly catching up as Emil and Matthias fought for first place. Matthias smiled at the thought.

"Are you both doing this so I get side-tracked and lose?" the nerd asked with a grin.

"Em, he is onto us." Leon snorted as it was half true.

"No, just to get you to hurry up and get together. The fact that you aren't together yet despite everything that has happened is almost irritating." Emil spoke with a scoff that almost rivaled his brother's.

"So you wanna get us together?" Matthias asked amused.

"Well yea. You clearly like him and he clearly likes you." Emil frowned trying to bump Matthias' car out of the way. This definitely got the Dane glancing at Emil. It cost him first place but he was interested.

"Y-You really think so?" He asked with his cheeks going red. He was not too far from Emil so he wasn't too worried that the other get to him.

"Please. Please tell me that you're joking and that you can see how much my brother likes you." Emil spoke monotonously. Matthias was more red now which told Emil that he was either very aware or clueless and flustered. "Well, where should I even start."

"Maybe with the most obvious one. Like he is always with you. You look at each other with those big googoo eyes, only he is more subtle with it. He, like, also does the thing were he knows what you're going to say and like jabs you if it's terrible." Leon snorted and came up close by Emil and bumped his car to Matthias and speeding forward and got ready to make a turn.

"Don't forget the fact that you and him are like those boring old couples that just sit in silence and it counts as a good time." Emil added. "Not that I have a problem with that. It would make me puke if you were lovey dovey or constantly fighting."

Matthias smiled at this however. Old boring couple sounded very cute to him. He could definitely imagine himself with Lukas both wrinkly and just reading books and napping together. Maybe holding hands and walking on the beach. It was a very cute scene in his mind. He smirked a bit as he blue shelled Emil with a smirk.

"How. dare. You." Emil looked at the other with betrayal. Mathias pushed in and got first place. Right as the dane was about to celebrate the doorbell went off. Must be Tino and Berwald. Mathias grinned at Emil and Leon and dashed off to the front door.

As expected, Tino and Berwald were at the door with presents as well as food. Berwald had a platter or swedish food, no doubt his mother had given him to bring. Mrs Oxenstierna usually made a little bit too much and made her son bring food over to Mathias the day after Christmas. She knew the dane often spent christmas alone so she made sure he was fed. Tino on the other hand had made fresh cookies that morning. He knew Lukas liked butter cookies so he made sure to make them.

"Hey, Matt! Merry Christmas!" Tino greeted with a hug. Berwald gave a nod. Matthias grinned and hugged Tino and Berwald.

"Hey guys! Merry belated Christmas!" The dane chuckled. "Emil and Leon are here and I'm totally kicking their ass in Mario kart. Come in, Lukas should be here soon too!"

Tino smiled and pulled his boyfriend inside. It was a little cold outside even with so much clothes but Tino had been born and raised in Finland, so this was like a tamed autumn to him. He was still wearing his christmas jumpers and a coat because his dear mother would stress if he left without one. Matthias showed them to the kitchen so they could put the food on the table.

"So you and Lukas going out yet?" Tino asked grinning as he put his cookies next to Berwald's platter of food. Matthias blushed again. Wow, everyone was aware of this it seemed.

"W-why is everyone asking this?" He chuckled. Berwald raised an eyebrow a little.

"Because. You two are adorable and need to hurry up so we can have double dates. The holidays will be over soon too." Tino pointed out looking away biting on the insides of his cheeks. It was a bad habit. But he was nervous about going back knowing how awful first semester had been. Not only that but they had a ton of work due in. Work he had almost finished but totally could do without.

"You wanna go on double dates?" Matthias asked tilting his head a bit like trying to imagine that.

"Yea! It'll be cute and adorable!" Tino chirped. Emil and Leon walked in as they heard the couple begin to chat from the living room.

"They haven't but have been caught cuddling twice now." Emil spoke before making a dash for the cookies. They were good. So good. Tino grinned and giggled excitedly at the news.

"Oh! That's great! That means a lot you know! Just ask him out." Tino chirped.

"I will. After my parents leave." Matthias nodded.

"Your parents came by for Christmas?" Berwald frowned a bit.

"Yea, they got here last night. They are on a date right now but should be back by 11pm." Matthias hummed a bit thinking about this. He had yet to ask Lukas on a date. They had confessed to each other but he hasn't asked yet. Emil and Leon had given him ideas and maybe a picnic would be nice. Maybe a boat ride! He knew how to sail! They could totally do something cute like that!

"Matthias Kohler. You are not waiting for your parents to leave. They just got here. Aren't you happy?" Tino scolded at him. It made Matthias snap out of thoughts.

"Wha-Of course I am! I haven't seen them in 4 months. I just thought I should ask then so he has time to take the night off and stuff. Besides, holidays are a good time for him since he will have plenty of time to work and he likes working so maybe with more time i can take him out on a his day free." Matthias explained himself. Tino pouted a bit and Emil felt rather happy his brother was gonna have someone that cared enough to wait for a night off.

"Fine. How's the website going though?" Tino asked smiling again. Berwald and himself had just about finished. He had gathered the research and pictures whilst he let Berwald make the codes. He was rather hopeless with the coding.

"It's going okay. Luke has done a few of the pages and stuff. I'm putting it together and making sure the codes work. It's a bit of a headache. The research was fun though." The dane smiled a bit.

"The research was awful." Lukas interrupted coming from the door. He was in leather with wool under it. The dane instantly smiled wider. His favourite person had just walked in after all.

"Lukas! Merry Christmas!" Tino chirped handing him the plate of cookies. Lukas instead of taking one, took the plate and went to stand by the dane who took a cookie quickly before Lukas ate most of them.

"Merry Christmas Tino. You too Berwald." He hummed softly and leaned on the dane a little bit. He was cold. Matthias didn't even think about it twice when his arm ended up around Luke's waist. Tino smiled and glanced at Emil who had a little amused smirk. The norwegian was eating his cookies and ignoring everyone but Matthias who was warm. He had a terrible day at work so he was glad he was home now.

"How was work?" Matthias asked before getting a cookie shoved in his mouth. The punk really had no intention of speaking for the next 30 minutes. Emil snorted at this and Tino giggled. Leon smirked and Berwald was amused.

"I'm gonna change clothes." Lukas dashed with the plate upstairs free to eat all of them like this.

"Right. Games are set up in the living room. You guys pick the game and I guess we can bring food there too. I'll get the hot chocolate and coffee over there." Mathias smiled at everyone as he got making the hot chocolate and coffee as everyone moved to the living room. Tino took the swedish food platter over to the living room.

"So do you think it will happen soon?" Tino asked Emil and Leon grinned. This was super fun to watch Matthias and Lukas interact.

"I think they already know." Berwald mumbled sitting next to Tino and taking his boyfriend's hands into his own. He thoroughly enjoyed doing this since it always made Tino smile up at him so brightly. This time he even got a kiss on his cheek.

"Money on the table that they don't and Matthias won't as until holidays are over." Leon piped up. Emil snorted.

"Stop it. You suck at these. You owe me like 50 bucks already from these bets." Emil told him off nudging his side a little.

"It makes things interesting. Oh, we should play truth or dare. I brought a few firecrackers and I have a really good dare" The young teen smirked a little at Emil. Emil blushed a bit and looked away. Leon always had good dares and they got out of hand sometimes, But the last few ones he had made on christmas eve were more on the affectionate side. He had ended up holding his hand for 3 hours and then being his pillow for the night. Lord knows what Leon had in mind but he could tell it was of that nature.

It wasn't too long until Matthias came back with a tray of snacks and another tray of drinks. He probably shouldn't carry so much since he was so accident prone but he was wearing contact lenses today and he was wanting to get a good seat and make sure Lukas has a seat next to him. Though he prefered if the other sat on his lap.

"So what game are we playing?" He asked everyone in the livingroom

"Leon was talking about truth or dare. I think monopoly is fine. Or pictionary." Emil was pouty and Leon had a devious sly smirk. Tino was leaning on Berwald cuddling with his boyfriend on a smaller couch next to the larger one that Matthias and Lukas had been falling asleep and cuddling in.

"Pictionary sounds good since we have 3 teams already." Matthias chuckled.

"Truth or dare sounds so fun though." Tino grinned a bit and looked up smirking at his tall boyfriend. Berwald knew the mischief in the other's eyes meant he was on board to play and cause havoc and it was very cute. So he definitely wasn't against it.

Matt sat down and put the trays down. "Okay then I guess it will be truth or dare. Nothing outside the house is all i have to ask."

"He is getting sick." Lukas piped up as he walked into the room with sweatpants and a thick Christmas jumper Matthias' mother had given him for Christmas. He took the seat next to Matthias on the big couch. His legs were over the dane's as he leaned back with his plate of cookies half way gone. He was very comfortable now. His feet has Christmas socks that were warm and fluffy. Matt had his legs crossed with the other's legs over his own. His hands immediately going to massage the other's legs as he thought about a dare. He knew he had to think about it now.

"Okay we can do with that rule. Anything else before we start?" Leon asked.

"Any pyrotechnics are not allowed in the house." Lukas smirked a little as his brother snorted and Leon rolled his eyes.

"Fine." He agreed taking some biscuits Matthias had brought from the kitchen.

"Who goes first?" Emil asked looking around before deciding to take a mug of hot chocolate. Matthias handed Lukas his usual mug with the coffee only Matthias knew how to make right. Lukas was visibly calm and relaxed like this.

"I can. I don't mind." Tino smiled.

"Nope. Not Tino. He is too good at dares." Lukas shifted on his seat a bit closer to the dane. Tino pouted a little but knew damn well it was true.

"Matthias, truth or dare." Berwald began. Matthias bit his bottom lip a little. He didn't know if he could trust the fellow nerd enough to say dare nor truth.

"...Dare."
