Hey, guys! Sorry that it's been so long since I've updated this story, but I just get caught up with dance and schoolwork that things like just slip past my little mind! I hope you like this chapter, it was very interesting to write!
Oh, and please tell me about what you think of my idea for the Winx girls' points of view in this story: I don't think I'll include them in this story, but rather in a read-alongside-this-story story, if that makes any sense. Basically, they Winx's adventures would be in a separate story, since the teachers don't get nearly enough love. :)
Faragonda walked through the swamp, a solemn look clouding her face. Griselda trekked silently behind her, gaze drawn towards her feet. WizGiz and DuFour were the same. Faragonda suddenly spun on her heels to face the others.
"Someone should stay behind, just in case the girls get back," She suddenly realized. WizGiz and DuFour looked at each other, then said in unison,
"We will."
"Great! That leaves two people, and two heads are better than one, as they say," Faragonda's face brightened for a moment, then darkened. She fell back into memories. She had said that to Palladium when he was just an elfling...
A young woman, pink hair falling to her thighs, smiled as she watched a small, auburn haired elfling play around in a field. He ran around, squealing with delight when he saw a butterfly or squirrel.
"Palladium?" The woman called out. The elfing turned.
"Yes, mommy?" Palladium asked. "Is it time to go home?" He added with a sad look on his face.
"Yes, dear, I'm afraid it is," The woman replied. Palladium sighed.
"Aww... I was looking for the butterfly I had found earlier. It was so pretty, too, mommy! It had big blue wings!" The elfing went on about the amazing butterfly he had found. The woman smiled once more.
"Well, I guess we could stay a little longer, to help you find that butterfly. After all, two heads are better than one,"
"What does that mean?"
"It means we'll probably find the butterfly with two of us looking instead of just you, silly!"
The two went into the forest, and looked for the butterfly. They soon found it, and put it in a large jar with air holes at the top. The beaming elf looked up at his mom.
"I love you, mommy!"
Faragonda's eyes filled with tears that were threatening to spill over and fall down her cheeks. That day had been so special for her. It had been the first time Palladium had ever said the words 'I love you'.
A hand placed on her shoulder made her head turn. Griselda was standing there.
"Come on, Faragonda. We need to inform Headmaster Saladin of what has occurred here," She reasoned. Faragonda nodded.
"Let's be off, then," She said as she walked deeper into the trees.
The two women soon arrived at Red Fountain. The students, upon seeing the two fairies, ran to inform Codatorta.
The large man came down and greeted them.
"Faragonda, Griselda. What brings you here?" He asked in his rough Scottish accent.
Faragonda looked up, her eyes filled with sadness.
"We need to speak to the headmaster at once."
Codatorta nodded, then motioned for the ladies to follow him. They came to a large, wooden door, and Codatorta rapped his knuckles three times upon it.
"Come in," Came a voice from behind the oak. They all stepped inside the large office. "Ah, Faragonda! How nice to see you, and you as well, Griselda! What brings you here?" The headmaster asked.
Faragonda looked at Codatorta. He got the message and quietly stepped outisde.
"It's about our son, Saladin," Faragonda began. Saladin's expression immediately grew worried and angry at the same time.
"What's happened to him? I swear, if ANYONE has hurt him, I will personally-"
"Darkar. He captured him and turned him into a torturing pet," Faragonda cut off her husband, whose face had now turned to horror. He gasped.
"No! Why, that little bi..." Saladin started to swear but ended it under his breath.
A hologram suddenly popped up on Saladin's computer. Darkar was smiling cruelly.
"Darkar! What have you done with my son?" Saladin demanded. Darkar rolled his eyes.
"Oh, nothing serious. I just sent him to his parents."
