Touch My Heart Chapter 13

A/N: Well Again, I'm sorry guys, but I will not be able to keep my promise of posting a full chapter by tomorrow. Like you mostly all know, I'm very sick at the moment and I'm trying my best to get a little something out in the mean time until I get better. I hope you are not too disappointed. (Will's POV)

I woke up this morning feeling happier than I have been in along while. I laid back in bed for a few minutes and thought about everything that happened last night. I smiled when the memory of Sonny agreeing to go to prom with me came to mind.

I looked over at my alarm clock and saw that it was already seven fifteen. I hurried and grabbed my phone and sent a text to Sonny.

- Morning my love

Within no time, Sonny answered.

- I (heart) U

I laughed. Sonny wasn't really use to texting, but at least he tried his best to make his point come across.

- I love U 2, babe. U ready 2 go?

- I just wake up Will.

- I have a surprise 4 U. Be there in 10.

- Will?

- Be ready

I hurried and got dressed in record time. I grabbed my school bag and the other bag that I had gotten ready the night before after I got home from Sonny's and left eagerly.

I arrived at the Kiriakis estate exactly ten minutes later to pick up Sonny. He was standing outside on the steps leading to the main entryway. I pulled up my car in front of the steps and waived him over to come and join me.

Sonny got off the steps and wiped himself off of any dirt that he might have on his pants and slowly walked towards my car. Once he got in, I greeted him with a kiss.

"Good Morning, Babe", I said as I reached for his face and pulled him closer towards me and kissed him.

Sonny smiled into the kiss, "Well, it is now."

"Good! Cause I have a surprise for you today", I said as I started the car back up and headed towards the school.

I was excited about Sonny's surprise. This was somewhat of a tradition at Salem High and it was also something that I was positive that Sonny would really enjoy as well. It would also give us the opportunity to leave our mark behind and to show Sonny once and for all what he truly means to me.

(Sonny's POV)

Will pulled up to the back of the school and I was confused, "Why did you bring me back here so early in the morning?"

He parked the car and turned to look at me, "I wanted to do something that will be a permanent part of this school for years to come."

"And what is that?"

I really had no idea what he was talking about.

"It's a surprise, just get out of the car and follow me."

He didn't even wait for me to respond before he opened the car door. It looked like that was the only answer I was going to get just then so I also got out of the car.

I walked around the car and saw Will pull out bag from the back of the car. I couldn't make out what was in the bag but I trusted my boyfriend and followed him. We walked along the strip of wall that ran behind the school and I could see a bunch of graffiti art from various students. I admired them as we walked long until we came to an area that was mostly clean of any type of art.

We stand there for awhile and my patience starts to wear thin, "So what are we doing here and what is in the bag."

Will looked at me with a twinkle in his eye, "This is the surprise, I want you to draw a really beautiful drawing of us on this wall to represent us."

He handed me the bag and I looked inside, there were many different types of material to draw with. There was paint, pencils, spray paint, pastels, etc.

"I wasn't sure what all that you would need so I got everything. We only have about two hours before this place starts to get filled with other students. Can you do something in that amount of time?"

He looked at me expectantly.

I couldn't help the grin that appears on my lips, "I definitely think I can. Thank you so much."

The words didn't feel like enough for me so I stepped forward and kissed Will. It was only a small chaste kiss but it still set my heart racing. I pulled back and quickly got to work.

An hour and a half later I was finishing up the last bit of this painting. I didn't know what I was going to do in the beginning so I thought about how much Will makes me feel and I let that guide me. Now as I step away to look at it again to see if I need to add a little more I finally look at the whole thing. The drawing had a heart in the middle that was shaded and colored to perfection. Around it was a bunch of vines and leaves moving intricately around it.

I was nervous about how Will was going to react so I slowly looked to him and when I looked at him my fears all vanished. He looked at it like it was the most precious thing in the world, "This is amazing Sonny, I couldn't have come up with a better representation of us."

"So you know what it means?"

"Yeah, the heart represents our hearts and our love for each other. While the vines create a barrier around it to protect from the world around it."

Will couldn't seem to stop staring.

The fact that Will understood the meaning only showed me just how much he really does love me. Not many people are able to get the meanings in some of my art and so it was a relief to find out that Will can figure it out. I step into Will's arms, "Thank you Will?"

He smiled down at me, "For what?"

"For letting me draw this for us, for understanding my drawing, and for all that you have done for me. I don't know what I would do without you."

I squeezed him really hard.

"I would do it all over again if I could do that."

He leaned down and kissed me softly. I let out a contented sigh, it always feels like I am in heaven whenever he kisses me.

We pull away after a few minutes, "Now that is just one more thing to add to it."

I clenched up instantly, was he going to add something on top of all that work I did. He stepped away from me and pulled out a can of spray paint, "Now we just need to add our initials next to it."

A relieved sigh came out and I watched as will wrote 'WH + SK' next to the drawing. Will thankfully had really good handwriting or else it might not have fitted together but he did make it fit. After he was done we stand back, with our arms wrapped around each other, just staring at the drawing. We did that all the way up until we had to get back in the car and find a better parking spot. As much as we wanted to stay there we had to go to our classes.
