AN: SOOOOOO SORRY for this long wait, I know it's been months! I've had really bad writers block! Lately I've been getting a lot of really nice reviews asking me to finish or update so I finally sat my butt down and just thought about where to go next. Hoping this isn't to rough, my first time writing in month's hope it doesn't suck!

Chapter 18 –

The sun was shining in Ireland and Clary shuttered as a cool breeze tickled her bangs across her face. This changing time zone thing was starting to get to her, she couldn't remember at this point if it had been days since Jonathan first took her or hours. She was feeling disoriented and tired and just wanted this all to end. Magnus was tracking Alec with something and he kept telling her they were close but it felt like they had been walking forever.

"Oh shit I think I know where they are going!" Magnus mumbled and started walking quicker.

"Hey wait up!" The shorter girl shouted as she picked up the pace to keep up with the tall warlock.

"I think they are heading to the Ireland institute." Magnus's voice called back to her and she cursed out loud to herself, this wasn't good! She didn't want anyone to know what happened to her, if they reached the institute before they could stop them then the Clave would be running in full swing and everyone, even her mother, would know what happened.

"I think I see them!" Magnus pointed to an odd group of four people, all different heights and color hair. She was sure it was them as well.

"HEY!" Magnus yelled and one of the dark haired boys stopped and turned slowly then he started pointing and soon the whole group was pointing at them. Clary was breathing heavy chasing after Magnus at this point and slowed down when she realized they were stopping. A moment later the tall blond one of the group started running towards them and Clary knew it was Jace. Even thought she was tired and out of breath she started running as well. They met in the middle and Clary leaped at Jace with all her might and just started crying her eyes out.

"You found me." Jace whispered in her curls as the short girl cried.

"You're alive!" She said threw her tears and all Jace could do was nod, he was crying as well at this point. Behind them the rest of the group was catching up and Alec gave Magnus as hug and soon they were kissing while Isabella and Simon stood there awkwardly waiting for everyone to finish there greetings.

Jonathan was on the back of a flying demon, this was his only way to get back to Ireland since he killed Patrick. Jonathan was more than sure Clary would find her way there looking for Jace. "Faster!" He barked at the large demon and hit him with a whip; the demon roared and started flying faster. Jonathan felt very out of body at this point, Clary was his and everyone needed to know that. This time he wasn't going to leave anyone behind to be able to save her, and he meant it.

After everyone was done being happy and hugging they all headed towards town looking for a hotel or someplace to rest. Magnus only just got back some of his strength and he didn't want to waste it just yet bringing them back to New York just yet since he knew Jonathan was still out there. They were silent as they walked, Jace holding Clary's hand, he felt like he was never going to let her go again. He was scared to ask her what happened to her while she was with Jonathan, he never got a chance the last time he got her back and he knew it was bad. At the moment she seemed okay, she was wearing her gear and she didn't seem hurt. Jace decided to wait until later, way later when they were safe at last. Which wouldn't be until Jonathan was dead.

They arrived at some motel and Magnus went in and got a room for them, when they entered the room everyone slummed down somewhere to rest, they had been walking for a long time.

"This isn't over, everyone knows that right. " Alec said after a while, everyone had been staring into nothing and it was making him frustrated.

"Of course we know that." Isabelle shot back and again the room was in silence.

"We were heading to the Ireland institute statue when you found us." Jace said after the tension in the room was getting too much.

"We know." Magnus said.

"I still think we should." Isabella said and looked everywhere but Clary.

"No!" Clary replied back sharply, they had come this far without help they were just fine without anyone!

"Clary we all almost died and you have been hurt beyond repair and don't act like none of us saw those scars on your wrists we know what you tried to do!" Isabelle bit back much harsher then she meant. Clary gasped and ran to the bathroom slamming the room, Jace chased after her and banged on the locked door.

"Come on Clary don't listen to her shes just being a bitch!" Jace said while Isabelle glared at him.

"Leave me alone." Clary mumbled back through thick tears. Jace hit his head against the door a few times sighing.

"Never." He whispered but he knew she heard but she didn't say anything. Jace slide down the door and sat there so he could let Clary have privacy but be close if anything happened.

"I say at this point we prepare, wait for Jonathan to come to us, which he will, and just end this once and for all." Magnus said and everyone turned to look at him. Nobody said anything for a moment but you could tell who agreed with him and who didn't. Jace was nodding and Alec looked torn between what his sister wanted and what the man he loved said. Simon was also torn but you could clearly tell he would pick whatever Clary wanted. Jace almost fell back as Clary opened the door to the bathroom.

"Let's do this!" She said and stepped past Jace into the room.

"Let's get every weapon we can, use every rune we know and some I have up my sleeve and let's kill him." Clary had a look in her eyes that she hadn't had since Jonathan raped her the first time. They were full of hope and no one seemed able to say no to her. Soon the room was filled with talked and planning.

AN : Sorry its short and kind of sucks, also sorry I at first put that they were going to the Ireland institute and then totally backed out on that idea. I am just going a different direction with this story then I originally was. There is not too many chapters left for this story, but believe it or not I already have some ideas for a sequel! Let me know if you love it or hate it, I promise the next update won't be as long as the last! Should be update dated within a week!
