"Aren't these adorable Simon?" Isabelle squeals as she shows him the gear.
"Of course, but how can you tell what gender they are for" Simon asked
Isabelle playfully smacks Simon "That is not the point"
Isabelle takes the box and puts it on the floor.
"So, speaking of genders" Simon says "When will we able to find out which it is"
"I have an appointment with the silent brothers tomorrow, apparently they can tell me what gender it will be, and if it's healthy."
"Well that's not weird at all" Simon joked
"It's not like I can go to a normal doctor, it's going to be half vampire," Isabelle said " who knows it might not even have a heartbeat!"
"Good point." Simon said.
"Let's get this stuff organized into separate piles." Isabelle says, sifting through the clothes.

"Brother Enoch, thank you for agreeing to this."
Isabelle Lightwood, your baby will be a peculiar one. We had to check the baby out anyway. Lie down please.
Isabelle lies down on the bed, with her head propped up and watches as he stands over her. She feels a twinge of restlessness like she wants to protect the thing inside of her.
Brother Enoch places a marked hand over her stomach and Isabelle can hear a soft chanting in the back of her head.
Hm… Isabelle Lightwood, there is not just one heartbeat.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
It means that there is more than one baby; there is two, a boy and a girl.
"What?"
There are two.
"I heard you I didn't really… You know what never mind. Thank you." She scoots of the bed and out the door before he can reply.

"So what's the gender?" Simon asks a flustered Isabelle.
"Both."
"What?" he asks confused.
"I mean both; we are having twins."
"Seriously," Simon replied
"Yes," Isabelle said "how do you feel about that?"
"I…well…umm, I think that's amazing but slightly overwhelming" Simon replied
"I know, I know but we should go tell the others now" Isabelle said
"Okay" Simon said standing up and taking Isabelle's hand.

Maryse, Clary, Jace, Magnus, and Alec were all at the table.
Maryse sat at the head of the table next to Alec, who was whispering something to Magnus.
Clary and Jace sat side by side holding hands.
"Oh Isabelle dear," Maryse started "how was your appointment with brother Enoch?"
"That's actually what we came to talk to you about." Isabelle replied.
"Oh no" Clary said looking concerned.
"Is everything all right?" Maryse asked.
"Everything is fine; we found out what it was going to be though."
"Aaaaaaand" Clary asked impatiently.
"We are having twins" Said Isabelle
Everyone in the room stares at them blankly.
"What," Clary asks, "for real."
Isabelle laughs nervously, "yeah for real."
"Congratulations, you guys." Maryse says excitingly.
"Ooh, I'm going to go buy them something sparkly." Magnus squeals.
"You would," Jace snorts
Magnus was about to reply but was cut off by a knock at the door.
"I'll get it" Clary says standing up. She touches Jace's shoulder as she passes by.
"Aren't you going to go with her little angel boy," Magnus jokes "you do just about everything else together."
"Clary can handle opening the door by herself," Jace says "I doubt a bunch of hydra demons will be on the other side of that door."
"Even if that was the case it's not like she couldn't handle it" Isabelle says
"Yeah, with all that Training they do," Simon jokes
"You're hilarious fangs," Jace replies sarcastically.
"Look whose here everyone," Clary says as she walks through the door.
Tessa walks in behind her with something in her arms. "Is that Church?" Alec asks her.
"Umm… yes."
"He doesn't normally take to new people," Maryse continues.
"Oh well umm I'm not exactly new to him. You see he used to be in the London institute, while I was living there in the, well yeah." Tessa finishes awkwardly.
"Did you live there too Magnus?"
Everyone in the room glared at Alec as Magnus replied, "For your info, no I didn't… I lived with Camille."
Simon bursts out laughing at Alec's horrorstricken face; and he gives Magnus a high five.
"Umm…" Maryse interrupts Alec's reply as she turns towards Isabelle. "Well congratulations, Isabelle."
The room is filled with congratulations from everyone.
"What are we congratulating them for?" Tessa asks.
"They're having twins," Jace says.
"Oh congratulations you guys." Tessa says as she goes over and hugs Isabelle.
"Thanks everyone, but if you don't mind we'd like to go have some time to ourselves right now." Isabelle says.
"Oh no problem," Clary says as Isabelle drags Simon from the room.
