Still got that same look that sets me off.
Blaine walked into the apartment to see Kurt dressed in a tuxedo with a single red rose in his hand. "What on earth are you doing?" Blaine asked.
"I'm taking you somewhere special tonight," Kurt replied. "Go put on something nice and meet me downstairs in front of the building in half an hour."
Blaine, although incredibly confused, hustled to get dressed in his old tuxedo and fix his hair. He met Kurt downstairs, where there was a town car, not a taxi, waiting for them.
"You first," Kurt said.
Blaine slid in and Kurt followed.
The car took them to a fancy restaurant near Central Park and dropped them off. They were seated in a booth in the corner, where they enjoyed a fancy meal. Blaine was worried about the price, but Kurt wouldn't let him see the bill, no matter how many times he asked or offered to help Kurt pay.
Once they were finished, Kurt led Blaine out the front door, where the town car was nowhere to be found. "Where is that driver? He was supposed to be here by now," Kurt mumbled. The Monty-Python-esque clip-clop of hooves was heard coming down the street and a horse-drawn carriage appeared from around the corner.
"What is this?" Blaine asked.
"Blaine, this is a horseā¦" Kurt began, stroking the horse's face, but Blaine slapped him playfully in the arm.
"I mean, what is it doing here?" Blaine asked.
"We're going for a ride," Kurt replied.
They hopped into the carriage and the horse began to trot around the park. It was a clear night, and the stars were out. "This is amazing," Blaine said.
"Thank you," Kurt replied. "And so are you."
"Why did you decide to do all this?" Blaine asked.
"I just wanted to remind you how much I love you," Kurt replied. They settled back into the carriage, snuggled under the blanket, and watched the stars and the lights of the city go by.
