"Why haven't I seen you around the shared dimension lately?" Loki asks as he nuzzles her neck in front of her doorway.

"There was no reason why I would seek you out, the place is large enough that you won't see me even if I appear in that dimension," she replies, her face expressionless.

"Aren't we engaged though?" he questions.

"We've been engaged for a millennium, I doubt anyone actually expects us to get married," she replies bluntly.

"Do I not mean anything to you," Loki asks, eyes blazing as he straightens up, his figure towering over hers.

"I should be asking you that question," she responds evenly.

"I've already told you, I'm sorry about your brother, now will you stop being like that," he says with a sigh.

"That's not the point," Andromeda exclaims, exasperated.

"Then what is?" he asks.

"That's no longer something I have the heart to tell you," she says, purple eyes meeting light blue ones.

"Where did I go wrong," he asks, eyes blazing at her.

"Once again, not something I have the heart to tell you. If you really want to know the reason behind my actions, figure it out yourself," she snaps back, irritated with his persistency.

"So I do have a chance," he says beaming. "You and I both know how much I love and how good I am with games. Be ready for me to win this one," he whispers in her ear.

"Good luck with that," she mutters.

"Here," he says as he wraps his jacket around her shoulder. "Don't catch a sleep and remember to get some sleep," he says as he waves his hand, walking down the hallway away from her.

With a small sigh, Andromeda sinks to the floor, tears welling in her eyes. She hadn't felt warmth from others for a long time, and the sudden wave of emotions from Loki was a little more than she could handle. He meant more to her than anyone could know, anyone could imagine and cracks were starting to form. There was only so long someone could remain without a little bit of heart in their life.
