"Mom, you'll wake the children." Isabelle whispered.
"Would you like to tell me what's going on here?" Maryse shouts ignoring Isabelle.
Maryse listens quietly as Isabelle tells her the whole situation.
"Why?" Maryse says.
"I just told you mother," Isabelle says.
"What if the clave found out?" Maryse says.
Isabelle looks at her shoes.
"You just don't think do you?!" Maryse shouts "It might be too late anyways …"
They're interrupted by Jace.
"Maryse, can you come help me please," he asks panicking "Clary's become unconscious."
Maryse stands up "Jace call her mother."
"Do I have to?" He asks.
Maryse gives him a stone cold glare that answers his question.
Jace rolls his eyes.
Maryse runs out of the room.
"We're not done here." She calls as she leaves."
…
"Do you think it worked," Isabelle asked Simon.
"I don't know," Simon shrugs.
"Well how long till we find out?"
"Maybe till tomorrow. I took a night before I clawed my way out of the dirt."
"I won't have to crawl my way out of the dirt, right?" She asks.
"No," He answers "that's only for full vampires."
"If this works you'll be half shadow hunter half vampire." Simon adds.
"What have I done?" She says as she leaves the room.
….
Hello
"Hey, Jocelyn."
What do you want Jace, why did you call?
"Um… It's about Clary."
What did you do?
"It was an accident. But I think you should come to the institute now."
Is everything alright?
"Just come alright."
I'm going to kill you Jace Herondale.
"Yeah, yeah, get in line."
…
Jocelyn comes into Clary's room where she is lying on her bed.
Maryse sits at a chair by her bed and Jace and Isabelle walk around the room.
"Jocelyn, you're here." Maryse says standing up.
Maryse gives her a tiny smile.
"What happened to my daughter?" Jocelyn asks.
"Jace, care to explain?" Maryse says.
"Oh would you look at that? I think Fangs is calling me- talk to you later Jocelyn." Jace says walking towards the door.
Isabelle rushes to the door with super speed. "No you don't," she says "you tell her or I will."
"Fineeeee," Jace says "we were training and long story short I kind of threw her and she landed on her head."
"Maybe you should get a proper instructor Maryse," Jocelyn says "One that won't throw my daughter?"
"No, that won't be necessary," Maryse states "However, if anything happens like this again I will look into a new instructor."
Jocelyn nods "Fine, but Jace if you ever do anything like this again, I will kill you with a seraph blade."
Jace rolls his eyes "You have to catch me first." He mumbles.
"Jace I think it's time for you to stop talking now." Maryse says quietly.
Jace rolls his eyes again and sits down.
"Have you called the Brothers?" Jocelyn asks, smoothing a hand over her daughter's hair.
The three other conscious people in the room nod.
Simon walks into the room, causing Maryse to glare at him coldly before stalking out of the room angrily.
"What was that about?" Jocelyn asks, noticing the cold exchange.
Jace answers sarcastically, "I guess it just has something to do with mothers hating their daughter's partners. You know Alec doesn't have this problem."
"Shut up," Jocelyn retorts.
"Isabelle, I need your help with the kids, they won't stop crying." Simon pleads.
"Jeez, what would happen if I wasn't here to save you." She mumbles, heading towards the door.
"Don't leave me here, alone, with…" Jace nods his head in Jocelyn's general direction.
"Suck it up," Simon says laughing.
As he's leaves Jace calls, "Oh, you're one to talk Fangs."
…
Sometime later Jocelyn asks, "What was up with Isabelle? She seem a little fast to you?"
Jace shrugs, "I've no clue…"
