A/N: You guys are amazing and thank you so much for reading and following this story.
"I swear to god, I will kill her," Olivia stated through clenched teeth as she walked through the apartment door.
"Liv," Alex said cautiously as she shut the door behind her.
"Don't 'Liv' me," Olivia screamed as she closed the gap between them, "That fucking bitch had the nerve to say you asked for it that you wanted it."
"You know as well as I do that that's what all rapist and abusers say," Alex whispered as she laid a hand on Olivia's chest. She could feel the coiled tension raging through Olivia's body and was amazed that she had been able to control herself so far.
"Its bull shit!" Olivia stated as she punched a hole in the wall just inches from Alex's head, causing her to jump.
"Liv, please take a few deep breaths and try to calm down," Alex pleaded as she tried to keep the tears at bay
"Calm down, you want me to calm down," Olivia said as she towered over Alex, her whole body shaking with rage, "That bitch just sat on the stand and lied. She told everyone that you wanted it, that you begged to be tied down and beaten. That it was your idea to bring a third person in the bedroom and you want me to calm down!"
"Yes, I do!" Alex almost cried as she backed up against the wall.
"I'll calm down when I kill the bitch."
"No, you won't because you will hate yourself if you do that," Alex said as she flipped her phone open and dialed Elliot's number without Olivia seeing. She knew as soon as he heard what was happening that he would come right over.
"You know, Alex," Olivia sneered as she grabbed Alex by the collar and jerked her to her, "I'm a grown ass woman and I don't need you to tell me what to do!"
"Well, apparently, you do considering how you're acting," Alex said as she struggled to keep the flashback at bay.
"Is that what you learned from Jess, how to control people? Because that's what you're doing with me."
Alex shoved Olivia back breaking her hold that she had on her before pulling her right hand back and swinging with all her might, connecting with Olivia's jaw.
"You're going to pay for that," Olivia said as she stalked toward Alex.
Alex stumbled backwards until she hit the wall and slid down it. She curled up into a tight ball and covered her head with her trembling hands, waiting for the blow that she knew was coming.
"Don't even think about it!" Elliot ordered as he quickly jumped in between Olivia and Alex, grabbing Olivia's hand as she swung in Alex's direction.
"Let me go," Olivia ordered as she struggled to break free of Elliot's grasp, crying out when he wrenched her arm behind her back.
"Not a chance," Elliot said as he grabbed her free arm and wrenched it behind her back in the same manner as the other one, holding them firmly in place before looking at Alex who was still curled up on the floor shaking, "Get out of here."
Alex numbly shook her head as she stayed on the floor, shaking.
"Alex," Elliot said more forcefully, trying to get her attention.
"Leave her alone," Olivia said when her eyes focused on Alex curled up on the floor, visibly shaking with fear.
"Why, so you can strike her?" Elliot asked.
"Screw you," Olivia spat out as she jerked her head back connecting with his nose.
Elliot screamed out in pain and involuntarily loosened his hold on her arms.
Olivia jerked her right hand free and twisted her body around as she swung her fist connecting with his jaw.
Elliot stumbled back, shaking his head, trying to get his bearings after Olivia connected with his jaw.
"Alex, get up and get out of here," Olivia said, bending down in front of Alex, trying to get her attention.
Alex stared at Olivia with a glazed look in her eyes.
"Come on, honey," Olivia whispered a she started to reach out for Alex, but stopped when she jerked away from the touch.
"Get away from her," Elliot said as he jerked Olivia up by the collar and pulled her away from Alex.
"Elliot, let me go, she's in a flashback."
"I'm aware of that," Elliot said glancing over his shoulder and feeling his heart break seeing the Alex slumped in the floor, "If you would learn how to control your temper, she wouldn't be in a flashback."
"I…" Olivia started to say, but stopped and stared past him at an invisible spot on the wall, as if she was watching a movie that only she could see.
Elliot released his hold on Olivia when she paled and the tears started to fall from her eyes. He could tell by the way her shoulders slumped that she was beginning to remember everything that happened.
"Tell her I'm sorry," Olivia sobbed as she reached for her jacket, "Please make sure she'll be ok."
"You can do that yourself," Elliot said, reaching out to stop her from leaving.
"No, I can't," Olivia said as she hung her head in shame, "I tried to attack her."
"You had an episode with your anger," Elliot answered with a gentle smile, "That was it."
"For the first time ever, I took it out on her. I tried to attack her," Olivia said pointing at Alex, who was still sitting on the floor shaking.
"Liv, you've had a trying day," Elliot said, stepping forward and blocking Olivia's exit, silently praying that Alex would snap out of her flashback soon so she could stop Olivia from walking out. Something told him that if she walked out the door before Alex could stop her it would be the last time they would ever see her again, "We've all had a trying day today, but it has affected you the most."
"Yeah, to the point that I was going to attack her," Olivia cried as she tried to move past Elliot, becoming upset when he blocked her again, "Please let me leave. I need to be gone before she comes to."
"Why?" Elliot asked, noticing that Alex was slowly starting to stand out of the corner of his eye.
"Because when she comes to, she's going to fear me and I can't stand to be here to see that, to know that I put fear in her eyes. That was the one thing I have always sworn to myself from the beginning that I would never do. That if I ever did that, I would walk away and never look back. Which is why I need you to move, but I also need you to promise me something."
"Name it," Elliot said as he stepped to the side.
"I need you to always be there for her like you were always there for me," Olivia said as she wiped the tears that had fallen from her eyes, "I need you to take care of her, no matter what. Can you do that?"
"I'm sure he can," Alex said with a shaky voice from behind Olivia as she reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her from leaving, "But not as good as you can."
"He can," Olivia whispered as she took Alex's hands in hers and brought it to her lips kissing it gently without turning around, "You will never have to fear him. You will never know how sorry I am about what happened. But one thing is for sure, you will never have to worry about when I will attack again."
"Olivia," Alex started to say but stopped when Olivia shook her head and let go of her hand.
"Good bye, Alexandra," Olivia said through the tears that were falling fast, "I want you to know that I love you, I have always loved you and will always love you."
I know that Olivia was totally out of character in this chapter but please remember that she has suffered a TBI and has had an extremely stressful week which is what caused her episode. Even though she was progressing forward there will still be occasions that she will stumble backwards as anyone would do when recovering from an injury. I hope you don't hate me too bad for what I portrayed here.
