A/N: I had every intention of updating this yesterday but for the first time in over five years I actually had Thanksgiving off. I spent the day visiting with family I don't get to see that often and I actually participated in the Black Friday sales. I had several reviews wondering why Olivia started to attack Langen and when are we going to stop seeing her explosive side. The one thing you never do to a cop is just walk up on them, that can be very detrimental to your health and body, add a TBI on top of that and you have a very explosive disaster waiting to happen. Also remember that it take Liv a little longer to process things because of her head injury so unlike us as soon as she saw him she instantly remembered him defending Jess and not that he was a friendly. I hope that helped some on why I had Olivia acting like she was in the last chapter. I hope everyone enjoys this chapter and as always reviews are welcomed.

"Everything here is good," Alex whispered as she leaned over toward Olivia who was studying the menu closely. After everyone had settled at the table and Trevor explained why Olivia had gone after him, they began looking over the menu trying to decide what they wanted.

Olivia looked at Alex with questioning eyes as she glanced at the menu and then back to Alex. She wasn't too worried about the type of food they served; she really wasn't that picky of an eater. What caught her attention were the prices that were listed. She can truly say that she had never eaten at any restaurant whose cheapest item started at just under a hundred and fifty dollars.

"This is my personal favorite," Alex answered as she pointed at the Chef's tasting menu misunderstanding the look that Olivia was giving her, "You receive a little portion of each item listed and if you find something that doesn't sound appealing to you, we can have them substitute it. Then, there is the Prix-Fixe Menu, I like it, but I prefer to try a variety of items when I come here and their tasting menus are never the same."

"Alex," Olivia whispered low into her ear so no one could hear, "The prices start at one hundred and thirty five dollars up to almost four hundred per person."

"And that is an American Express Black Card that has no limit to it in your back pocket," Alex answered back making sure that no one could hear them, "Order what you want, hell, you can two of everything; honestly, I don't care."

"But…"

"No 'buts,' Olivia, I want to give you the world on a silver platter," Alex whispered as she caressed the side of her face, "I want to make every dream and fantasy you have ever had come true. To see a smile cross your face will always be worth more than any amount I would ever spend."

"What I want doesn't appear to be on the menu here, which I am thankful for," Olivia whispered back as she raked her eyes up and down Alex's body, "Lord knows I can't afford it."

"It may not be on the menu here, but I promise you it's on the menu at home," Alex whispered as she felt a flush in her cheeks, "Believe me; you can more than afford it."

Olivia nodded as she struggled to keep her breathing under control and the flush of her skin she felt rising under control. The last thing she ever wanted was to let the others at the table know what they were talking about.

"Can't decide?" Erica asked seeing the two women engaged in a conversation while looking at the menu.

"Everything looks so good," Olivia answered with a half-smile thankful that she hadn't caught on to their conversation or if she did she wasn't letting on.

"Believe me you can't go wrong with the Chef tasting Menu. I get that every time we come here. Although, I do suggest you try it with the wine pairing to get the full effect."

"It looks like I won't be getting the full effect then," Olivia answered reaching for Alex's hand, "I am not to consume any alcohol with my TBI."

"Ever or just till your cleared?" Erica asked. She had never considered that when she would meet her army buddy they would always meet at a bar and have a few beers. She had never once considered that he shouldn't be drinking.

"At the very least, I am looking at the several years before I should begin consumption of Alcohol, but honestly, it will more than likely be for the rest of my life. That is for several reasons, the first one is because of the medication I am and secondly because of some of the new complications it can cause."

"If you don't mind me asking, what type of complications?" Sarah asked leaning forward.

"Drinking alcohol lowers the threshold of seizures putting me at a greater chance of developing epilepsy," Olivia answered thankful that someone would ask questions instead of jumping to conclusions like some do, "Because it affects both coordination and balance, I am at a higher risk of having now a third brain injury, it can affect my memory and thinking abilities, which is hard enough at times as it is I don't need anything else hindering them, as we all know that alcohol lowers inhibitions and control as we have all viewed earlier I don't need anything to lower my control any more than what it is and most importantly it slows down or stops brain injury recovery which can occur for years after the injury. So, no alcohol for me which I am fine with, I was never a big drinker as it was. I would always have a beer or two with the guys after a case and maybe a beer or glass of wine with dinner but that was it. Most of the time a six pack could sit in my fridge for two months, easily."

"With or without the alcohol I still suggest the Chef Tasting Menu but now the important question which I guess we should have asked from the beginning is: do you like seafood?"

"I love seafood."

"Good thing, since we met at a seafood restaurant," Sarah stated laughing.

"I would have told you differently if she didn't eat seafood," Alex answered laughing with Sarah, "I wouldn't make her suffer through a dinner she couldn't stand if that was the case. Although, I promise you had I let her chose she would have had us in the local police pub eating food that will give us a heart attack by the age of forty."

"Hey, that is some of the best food around," Erica said speaking up with a mock look of hurt on her face "We learned to survive on old, cold, greasy food within the first week out of the academy. It was almost like a rite of passage for us."

"Let's not forget eat a full meal in less than ten minutes," Olivia added.

"Yes, dear," Sarah answered smiling at her wife before leaning over and kissing her on the cheek, "We know that, as an officer, you are proud of the fact that you can eat a heart attack to go in less than ten minutes. Now, as your loved ones, we would prefer if you would eat better and slower, we would like to keep you around for a while, although, sometimes, I do have to ask why."

"So, on that note of healthier foods," Alex stated as she looked at Olivia who shrugged her shoulders and gave her the cocky half smile that she got from time to time, "What is it you would like to try?"

"Let's do the Chef Tasting Menu, but let's bypass the Bay Scallop-Sea Urchin. Something about Sea Urchin just doesn't sound appealing to me."

"Do you want to replace it with anything or just skip it all together?"

"Let's see if they will replace it with the Scallops from the Le Bernardin Tasting Menu."

"I will make sure that they do or we can order both so you can try everything," Alex stated winking at Olivia.

"Believe me that sound's enticing since there are some things on that one that sounds good, and we both know that I can put away some food, but I'm good with just the Chef Tasting Menu."

"If that's what you want," Alex stated as she leaned over to Olivia, "Trust me, that is a wise choice considering all I want to do is take you home and have my way with you since you made your comment a few minutes ago."

Olivia swallowed hard as she felt her heart rate speed up. She could only hope and pray that dinner would go by quickly even though she knew better.
