"No, you have to stop," Olivia said as she gasped for air holding her side from laughing so much. They had just spent the better part of the last hour and half of Sarah and Trevor sharing stories of Alex's misspent youth. The latest story was of the time that Alex had come over to spend the night when Sarah's parents had gone out of town. Unfortunately, not realizing that her parents had come home during the night, they had become a little loud while making love and before either of them knew it her father was standing in her bedroom door with a gun in his hand.

"Yes, please stop," Alex mumbled as she turned another shade of red signaling for the waiter to bring the check.

"Come on, Alex, you have to admit it's funny," Olivia said trying her best to get control of herself.

"It wasn't at the moment," Alex stated staring at Olivia with her famous courtroom stare, "Her father saw more than he ever needed to see or know that day."

"It took him months before he could ever look at you," Sarah said taking a deep breath, "We would walk into a room and he would turn blood red then leave."

"Him to look at me? Try me," Alex said, "The last thing I ever wanted was for your parents to catch me with my head between your legs."

Trevor choked on his drink and struggled not to spew it all over the table, "Please, that is my baby sister you're talking about."

"Trevor, you would help us see each other after Alex's father found out and forbid it," Sarah stated staring at her brother, "Just what the hell did you think was happening?"

"Considering you are my baby sister, let's go with you two were watching movies."

"Try making them," Sarah answered back laughing as Trevor pulled at his collar and turned red.

"Why don't we give Trevor a break," Alex stated as the waiter walked up and placed their tickets on the table, "Besides, we do have our respective partner's with us as well."

"Who happens to be enjoying hearing every embarrassing detail about your life that there is," Olivia said as she wrapped her arm around Alex.

Alex glanced at her lover and smiled.

"But if you want us to stop, we will," Olivia said smiling back at the blonde.

"Before we get ready to pay the bills and part ways," Trevor said taking the opportunity to change topics for both his and Alex's sake, "Olivia, do you know when you will be able to return to duty?"

"Why, Trevor, wondering how long you have till she starts kicking you butt in court again?" Alex asked curious.

"That and I have an offer for her."

"Actually, no, I don't," Olivia stated wondering what offer Trevor had for her, "I have an appointment with Dr. Mathews next week and, hopefully, that will be the day that he will release me. If not, I have no clue what I am going to do," Olivia answered taking their folder and placing Alex's credit card in it before sitting it back on the edge of the table, "What does that have to do with an offer from you though?"

"There is an opening for an investigator in my firm," Trevor stated with a smile, "If you're not cleared to return to the department, the job is yours and I can have it fixed to where you are assigned to me, if you like."

"Thank you, Trevor," Olivia answered shocked at the offer, "But, honestly, I couldn't work for your firm, there is no way I could help letting rapists and child molesters walk on their charges."

"I understand that, believe me," Trevor answered with a smile, "But we do have a civil division that handles custody and divorces, so you wouldn't have to deal with the criminal aspects, if you prefer not to. It's basically looking over paperwork and doing a little investigation, making sure that neither has any hidden accounts or property anywhere."

"That I could probably do, let me ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Do you think they would let me do a little work now? Maybe start going over a few files, just starting out slow?"

"You will start nothing till you see the doctor," Alex stated giving Trevor a look that would kill. She didn't mind him offering her a job, especially one that sounded as easy as this, but she knew Olivia would full force.

"I can finally get back to work or at least doing something, Alex."

"And that's fine, believe me, but let's wait till you see the doctor before starting anything," Alex answered with a smile, "If he says you're not ready to return to SVU, but can work a case or two with their firm, okay. But if he says you're cleared for duty, I don't want you to over doing it and trying to work with the department and there."

"I've lasted this long, not working another week isn't going to kill me to wait and see."

"Thank you, my love," Alex whispered as she leaned over and kissed Olivia on the cheek. She was half expecting an argument with Olivia over waiting to go back to work and was shocked when she readily agreed to waiting. Although, she was sure that some of it was due to the fact that she didn't want to cause another scene at dinner.

"Then why not call me after your appointment," Trevor stated as they all stood and began to slide their jackets on, "Let me know what he says. If you can start looking over a couple of files, I will get with Haleigh to see which ones you need to start on and drop them by along with the paperwork needed to fill out."

"That sounds wonderful, thank you," Olivia answered shaking his hand before turning to Sarah and Erica, "It was a pleasure to meet you both and we have to get together soon. I can't wait to hear more embarrassing stories about Alex."

"Unless you want to be sleeping on the couch, you can wait the rest of your life," Alex answered with a twinkle in her eyes.

"I would love for us to get together more, but I believe we will be leaving all the stories out," Sarah answered pulling Olivia into a hug and then Alex whispering in her ear, "Alex, you have a good one here, don't let her go."

"I won't, I love her too much to lose her," Alex answered as she smiled over at Olivia before taking her hand and walking with her to the elevator.
