Epilogue:
6 years later
"Luffan!" my little girl cries. She's fallen down, and he's running away. "Children, play nice." Maxon says. I look up and smile at him. He's the perfect father: kind, caring, just stern enough.
Victory, my 1-year-old, tries to stand back up. "Here sweetie." I say, and help her stand. She smiles up at me, and toddles after her older brother, Luthan. At age 4, he's already becoming rowdy. It's hard to imagine him being King one day.
Now that I'm Queen, life has been harder. But I still enjoy it. Maxon is a wonderful King, like I knew he would be. The caste system is almost gone, and now that it is, the rebels don't attack. I wouldn't let my two children live in the castle if they did.
Kenna has three more children, and May is engaged to a wonderful man. Aspen...well, Aspen is married to Lucy. And they're living happily ever after. I couldn't be more happy for them.
Sometimes I ache inside when I think of what we could've had. But then I remember what I have right now. A peaceful kingdom, a family that loves me.
I couldn't be more grateful.
Oh gosh...the feels.
Wow. Just wow. I can't believe I finished the story! This has been such an amazing experience. I couldn't have done it without you all.
Thank you to all my fans. You guys keep me going.
How did you like the ending? Was it satisfactory? I'm considering writing another fanfiction about Luthan and Victoria, tell me what you think about that.
