Soooo, I won't be posting another chapter for a bit because... Well, I have a bad grade in math, and I need to get that up, so I won't be able to type as much as I would like.

That's why this chapter is a pretty decent length.

Now... I have like 12 pages of homework to do...

I DON'T OWN TMNT!

Enjoy! :D

The orange banded turtle shot up from his leaned back position on the couch; beads of sweat littered his face as he breathed heavily. Michelangelo let out a hiss of pain and quickly grasped his shoulder; easing his way back into his previous position. He glanced around quickly through the pitch black room; spying Donatello's sleeping silhouette right next to him. He gave out a shuddered sigh and tried to ease the nightmare out of his mind, working to replace it with something that would help him fall asleep. He smiled slightly as he closed his eyes and imagined himself surfing the waves on the beach of California, nobody screaming or running away from his appearance, everything just right. His beak scrunched up as the monster from his pervious nightmare stalked its way back into his mind; Mikey closed his eyes tighter as he tried to force the beast to leave, to disappear from his dream. The ninja's breathes quicken when his attempts failed and the monster continued to lurk through his dream, turning it into a nightmare.

Mikey's eyes shot open once again. He forced himself to stop shivering and to stand; wincing only slightly when his shoulder moaned in the process. The orange clad turtle tipped-toed his way through the dark lair; trying to ignore the darker shadows and the eyes he could have sworn were staring at him, planning to grab him and suck him down to the underworld. He ran up the stairs, trying to keep the silence in his steps. He paused at the second bedroom door, hesitating for a moment, and then creaking the door open. He poked his head inside.

"Raphie?" He whispered. When no reply came, Mikey eased himself further into the room and snuck up to the still hammock. Michelangelo bit his lip; running his hands over the flat blankets that laid cold on the unmoving hammock.

He picked one up and wrapped his body tightly into it, before descending into the bed, making it sway as his weight shifted around it. Mikey held the blanket tightly around him, trying to cease his never ending shivers. He curled up and turned to his side, his back facing the slightly opened door. Mikey shut his eyes tightly, trying to shut out the deathly darkness that surrounded him.

He rolled when the monster burned on the inside of his eye lids; mocking and teasing him, haunting him. He groaned when the hammock shifted with him, making his shoulder shoot out with pain.

The monster laughed at him; letting him know that there was no one there to protect him this time. That he was alone, and that no one could save him from his razor sharp claws.

Michelangelo forced himself to keep his eyes closed as the shivers racked his body. Curling himself tighter into the blanket, he fell asleep.

And for the first time after having a nightmare, they didn't turn back into his fantasy dreams.

They stayed.

"Donnie!" The small voice broke into Donatello's slumber; forcing himself to open his heavy eyes, the corners of Donnie's mouth grew when he saw the familiar red-banded turtles face. The young turtle was reaching out to him; leaning himself in Leonardo's arms to get closer. Donatello's grogginess quickly vanished as he stood up and scooped the small turtle into his arms.

"Raphael!" He smiled "Where the heck were you?" Donatello's expression immediately became serious "You didn't get hurt did you? If there is one scratch on you…" He trailed off as he began to inspect the toddler.

"Don!" Raph groaned; who was now being held upside down by his feet. "I'm fine!"

Donnie gave a quick glance to Leonardo, not believing Raph's words until Leo smiled and gave a quick nod. Donnie let out a sigh of relief, he turned around and smiled "Hey Mi-" He paused; realizing his outgoing little brother was gone. He set his hand on the spot he had seen Michelangelo last and frowned when he felt it was cold; meaning Mikey had left a while ago.

He was about to question Michelangelo's where bouts when a relived gasp/sigh interrupted him. "Raphael" the familiar feminine voice called; her padded footsteps sounding as she raced over to them. Donatello allowed the red head to take the red-banded turtle from his grasps. He looked around, and the descended up the stairs to start a search for his younger brother.

April hugged the small turtle tightly until he started tapping her shoulder. She brought him out of the embrace and stared down at him with a confused expression. "Sorry-" Raphael gasped slightly "I just wanted to breathe"

Raphael looked dead serious while Leo and April laughed. April brought the turtle into another embrace, making sure it wasn't as tight "I'm sorry" She whispered "I'm sorry I let you get taken"

Raph realized he wasn't getting out of the woman's hug this time and just propped his head on her shoulder. His smile was as big as it could go "Don't worry! I got to meet some new friends! And I got to go on a road trip, and my friends got me some food…" April laughed slightly as she listened to the young child's adventure.

Her nose suddenly scrunched up. April started walking away from the blue-banded turtle while Raphael continued to babble about his topside trip.

Leo raised one eyebrow and frowned when April disappeared into the other room. He shrugged slightly to himself, and then fell to the couch; falling into a peaceful sleep before his head even landed on the soft cushioning.

Mikey squirmed slightly in the hammock; curling and twisting himself tightly in the blanket. He gasped every now and then when he would land in a weird position and hurt his shoulder. Donatello dashed into the room; his worry filling him greatly since he had found his brother in Raphael's room and not his own.

"Mikey" Donatello said gently; shaking Mikey's good shoulder. "Mikey, you need to wake up"

Michelangelo let out a small gasp; his eyes snapping open and flying around the room in a crazed search. They landed onto Donnie's worried, yet caring, brown eyes. Donatello smiled and sat on the hammock, making it tilt to the side. "You ok?" He asked

Mikey nodded slightly "Yeah" He mumbled.

Donatello stared at him for a minute before speaking up "Leo found Raph" He smiled when Mikey's eyes widened "He's down stairs, but I want you to rest a bit longer" Donnie held up his hand when Mikey started to protest. "You can see him, just rest… and in your own bed too! I don't trust this… thing" Donnie scrunched up his beak slightly at the thought of Mikey sleeping injured on the rocking bed.

Mikey nodded and slowly slide of the bed.

"DONNIE! LEO! ANYBODY! HELP!" Raphael called from downstairs. Donatello and Michelangelo shared a quick glance before sprinting their way down the stairs.

"No! Please! Sto-" The young turtle was cut off as a bucket of water was poured onto his head. He spat slightly and gasped; only to be met with a wet washcloth

"Raph" April groaned "Would you just hold still!"

Donnie skidded into the door frame of the bathroom; Leo and Mikey right on his tail. "What's goi-" He raised a single eye ridge at the sight "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" April said through clenched teeth as she held the squirming turtle down into the water.

"Donnie!" Raph gasped "Help! She's crazy!" He was going to say more, but was only greeted with another bucket of water.

"He stinks, guys, I'm just giving him a bath" She explained; she dipped the cloth into the soapy water and then started scrubbing the back of Raph's shell.

"You know, he could have just taken a bath when he was older again" Leo piped up; a smile threatening to slide across his face as he watched both April and Raphael struggle against each other. He rubbed at his eyes, trying to get the grogginess out of them from just being woken up.

"Yeah, but that would have been like going years without taking a bath, and that sounds disgusting." She argued.

"It will still be like that…" Donatello explained; creasing his eye ridges slightly.

"No it won't" She said bluntly; scrubbing the top of Raph's head.

"Uhhh, ye-" Mikey snapped his mouth shut at the glare he received from the red head. Raph sputtered and glared at everyone as the last bucket of water was slowly poured onto his head. April lifted him out of the tub and wrapped him tightly in a white towel.

She held up a red cloth that was on the counter "You can get this back when you're dry" Raph stared at his mask and then started to scrub at his arms to dry himself off. April placed her hands on her hips as she watched the slow process. She rolled her eyes and leaned down; gripping the towel, and burying the turtle in it; ruffling it as she dried him. Raph groaned in protest, but stop and smiled when he received his mask.

Donnie smiled when Raph beamed up at him. "I'll go get the device, and we'll have Raph back in no time."

Everyone started for Don's lab.

"You know Don," Mikey said as he walked behind the genius "You should give that thing a name" He looked back and smiled as Raph rushed up and grabbed for his hand. "Like, 'The time breaker' or 'The Age deifier', ya know? Because it changes your age, making yo-"

"Yeah Mikey" Donatello rolled his eyes. "I get it"

I'll try to get the next chapter to you as soon as I can... but first I have to figure out how to use Substitute and what not on slope and intercept form things...

I think :-/

Wish me luck!
