Donatello peered into the skylight of the T.C.R.I building. Calculations and plans zooming around in his mind as he scooped out the scene below. Leonardo stood watch just behind his brother; gazing down at the sparkling city. They had already passed all of the cameras that were hidden among the building and now the only thing to do next was to get inside. Leo flipped open his phone and called the ally they were waiting on.

"Are you sure you're up to this?" Leo asked "You just got back from-"

"I am pleased to help, my friend, just let me know when to go" The voice on the other line replied.

Leo closed the phone and looked over his shoulder at Donatello who was shifting his head against the window as he peered inside. "Well?"

"This is amazing! You'll never believe what kind of alien tech they have down there!" Donnie exclaimed as he pressed his face further onto the glass.

"What kind?"

"I don't know! But it looks amazing!" Donnie replied.

Leo groaned "How are we getting in?"

"Well," Donnie stood up and turned to face his brother "with Leatherhead causing the distraction on the first floor, we'll easily be able to get in through this window and then get out the same way."

"Perfect. Let's go"

The swirled icecream cone tilted slightly to the side as the young turtle lapped at it happily. He couldn't choose between chocolate or vanilla and just ended up getting a twist.

"If that spills, I'm going to make you wash this entire car inside and out" Jason threatened as Raphael's icecream tilted more sideways.

Raph didn't like humans, but these ones were ok. They claimed to have known him when he was younger and they bought him icecream. To Raphael these two were alright. He gazed out the window as buildings and other cars passed. His tongue froze in mid-lick as he stared at a rather tall and bright building. It glowed green and blue in the night. The letters that stuck on the side of the building sparkled, spelling the weird word tcri. Raph's eyes widened as he realized it said: T.C.R.I.

"Stahp!" He called. He quickly pulled his tongue back into his mouth and tried saying the word again. "Stop!" He practically shouted "Pull over!"

The car tires screeched. Horns blasted and curses could be heard as angry drivers drove around the now parked car; waving their fists in the air and shouting.

"What the heck!" Bruno turned around in his seat and glared at Raph.

"We need to go over there!" Raph said; pressing his finger against the window and pointing at the building.

"Why?" Jason asked as he pulled the car over, away from the oncoming traffic.

"I remember my brothers saying something about that place" The young teen concluded; not taking his eyes off of the glowing tower.

Jason groaned "Just because your bros talk about some place doesn't mean anything! You don't make sense! You know that!"

"Plus, that place just fixes computers… and I think toasters" Bruno said; looking over at the tall structure.

"I think their over there right now though!" Raph said.

"You think?" Jason asked "Or you know?"

"I… uh…"

Bruno huffed and slumped down in his seat. "You really don't deserve that icecream kid. Let's just go"

"What" Jason asked.

"Just take Raphael over there! It's not like we were planning on doing anything anyways." Bruno grumbled.

Jason rolled his eyes and pulled back into traffic "You like this kid way too much."

"I hate kids, and you know it" Bruno stated; glaring at Jason.

Jason replied with a smirk as he drove over to the building. Raphael had tuned them out; staring at the building as his eyes danced with excitement.

He could help his brothers with their mission and then they'd be so proud of him! They would let him go out topside all the time! He'd be able to beat up the bad guys, show off his battle scars, and not be babied anymore. A big toothy grin appeared on Raph's face; he might even be able to get a girl. A smokin' hot babe!

"What are you smiling about?" Jason asked as he looked over his shoulder at the grinning turtle "I know the icecream was good, but come on"

Raph's smile faltered slightly as he began to blush. He quickly looked back out the window at the building.

"You thinking about girls?" Bruno asked "Do you have a girlfriend? What does she look like? Some hot mutant lizar-"

"I don't have a girlfriend!" Raph shouted; glaring at Bruno. "I wasn't thinking about girls" He mumbled.

Jason and Bruno burst out laughing. Raph folded his arms and glared at his feet the rest of the trip.

When they arrived at the building, Raph quickly opened the car door and jumped out. A woman's shriek suddenly filled the night. "What is that thing!? Someone Help! Monster!"

Raph's eyes widened and he shrunk back slightly "Dang it!" He grumbled. He was suddenly scooped up and shoved back into the car.

"Sorry! Nothin here! Just my dog! The neighbors got to him and painted him. I know right! Mean! He's harmless! I promise" Jason explained to the public while Bruno pinned Raph to the seat in the back of the car.

"Bark!" Bruno commanded quietly.

"What! No!" Raph shot back.

"Do it or I'll drop you off at a zoo!" Bruno snapped. Raph puffed out his cheeks slightly in irritation, but reluctantly made a dog noise.

Jason got back into the car after a few minutes and turned around to glare at Raphael who was still pinned down by Bruno in the back. Raph snapped his teeth at Bruno's arm, making the man jump back. "What were you thinking!?" Jason hissed.

"I was thinking that I wanted to find my brothers!" Raphael said as he sat up.

"Well next time tell me! I would have parked in the back!"

"What did you think I was gonna do!?" Raph shot back. He was worried he was going to get into trouble for talking back to an adult, but he had already done it once and his courage was growing as the conversation continued.

"I don't know! Stay in the car I guess! I thought you were smarter than that!"

"Well… you guys aren't scared of me! April and Casey aren't scared of me! What's wrong with the other humans?" Raph asked; a bit more calm and curious than mad.

Jason paused. He opened his mouth but then shut it again. So Bruno ended up speaking "Look, you're different, people don't like different. They get scared of it."

"Well that's stupid!" Raph said folding his arms across his plastron.

Bruno nodded "Yeah, it is."

"Come on, I'll drop you off in the back. You won't be seen back there" Jason said.

Raph sighed and looked at the building that towered over him. His brothers were in there…. He knew it. "Thanks." He mumbled.

"The one's known as the turtles must be destroyed by the device that the ones known as Kraang, which is us, built to destroy the ones known as the turtles-"

"Shut up!" Donnie shouted as he fiddled with the said machine. "I'm trying to concentrate!"

Leo plunged his sword into an exoskeleton of a Kraang droid "Donnie! If you went a bit faster, that would be nice!" he yelled. The distant roar of LeatherHead could be heard a couple floors down. Leo sliced another robot in a half and then quickly glanced back at Donatello.

"I just have to scan the whole thing now and then we're all good!" Donatello shouted back. He quickly did a round-house kick as a droid got to close and started shooting pink lasers at him. "I would be done sooner if you kept these freaking robots away from me!"

"Working on it!" Leo called as he took down three more. "They just keep coming! I don't-"

"Hey! Watch it! Let me go you freaking bag of bolts! If I had my Sai's you would be scrap metal by now!"

Leonardo and Donatello's heads quickly shot up towards the familiar voice.

"Raph?!"
