I have a poll on my account you should look at. It would mean a lot :)
I DON'T OWN TMNT!
Enjoy! :D
A glimpse of green could be seen as the young turtle ran through the halls; ducking into the shadows every chance he got. He worked at keeping his breathing even as he made sure his feet kept silent while he ran down the greyish colored hallways.
He skidded to stop at a turn in the hall and pressed himself against the wall. He peeked around the corner and smiled as he spied two robots. 'This will be a piece of cake!' he thought as the robots talked.
"The problem which is the problem on the first floor is becoming… a greater problem." One said before making a weird robotic beeping noise.
"The solution to the problem which is the problem which Kraang has just mentioned is needed as humans would say: A.S.A.P." The other exclaimed.
Raphael's nose twitched. He quickly placed his hands over his beak and tried to suppress the sneeze, but turtle luck stayed true to form as small sneeze sounded in the somewhat quiet hallways. The two Kraang droids became quiet and their heads turned towards the corner that Raphael was hiding behind. One made another beeping noise.
"Kraang must ask Kraang… did Kraang also hear the noise which Kraang has heard?"
"Kraang has also heard the noise which Kraang speaks of" The other replied as they started to walk towards the corner.
Raph's eyes grew wide and he slowly backed up; hoping to avoid the two figures who footsteps were loud and metallic like. He closed his eyes and took a couple of calming breaths before putting on a glare and getting into a battle stance.
The Kraang rounded the corner and stopped in front of Raph. Raphael growled and tightened his stance.
A Kraang beeped. "The solution that is needed for the problem that is giving complications to Kraang has been given to Kraang."
Raph took a step back when the Kraang started towards him. "Stay back!" He warned. He felt for his Sai's and mentally cursed himself for taking them off and leaving them on the nightstand in his room. Raph smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhhh… well I'm gonna go now, cause… uhhhh…. I don't f-feel like fighting anymore, right now… yeah" Raph gave a nervous chuckle before turning and starting to run down the hall. He didn't get to far though as a robotic hand clasped around the top edge of his shell.
Raph squirmed as the Kraang kept his tight grip on his shell and dragged the turtle behind him. The Kraang stopped at a door, made a beeping noise, and then pressed his face against a control panel. The door slid open and the Kraang droid tossed Raphael into the room.
"Hey! Watch it!" Raph yelped as he landed roughly on the ground. He was quickly grabbed by two more Kraang and was once again being dragged across the floor "Let me go you freaking bag of bolts! If I had my Sai's you would be scrap metal by now!" The empty threat hung in the air as the Kraang said nothing and continued to drag Raphael to the destination that was unknown to the turtle.
He squirmed and kicked but nothing worked on getting away from the firm metallic grasp that the Kraang held. They finally tossed him onto a type of platform. As soon as Raph stood up from landing harshly on the ground, a pink/purple wall of light surrounded him. "Let me out!" Raph yelled as he banged on the wall. His fists made ripples in the light but didn't break or even dent the screen of color.
One Kraang stayed behind and guarded the cage that Raph was held captive while the over left; locking the door behind him. "What do you want with me? …You can't keep me in here forever you know!" Raph spat as he glared at the droids back. He could barely make out the gun that it held in front of him.
The turtle sighed and sat down; leaning against the wall of light, making more ripples that quickly disappeared afterwards. He pulled his knees up to his chest and then placed his arms on his knees. He placed his chin on his forearms. "So… Do you like what you do?" Raph asked. The droid made no movement what so ever. Its body, however, continued to blink small lights on and off. "I mean, being a robot… what can you do? But, do you… like mutating people? Or would you rather be a dentist or somethin?" Raph asked. The Kraang stayed silent and still. Raph relaxed slightly; letting one leg slide out in front of him, the other staying bent and close to him. His right arm rested on the bent knee while his other laid on his lap. "Yeah, being a dentist doesn't sound that great, but hey… it might be somethin…" He rambled. His left hand starting to move with his speech "I'm only 13 so… how should I know?" He waited for the Kraang to reply, but when he didn't get one, he continued "You don't talk much do you? I guess that's a good thing though. If you did talk, I probably wouldn't be able to understand ya anyways." He stifled a yawn. "Do you know the time? I know it's late, but are you tired? Do robots get tired? You probably have to recharge… that could count as sleeping."
A big crash from outside the door made Raph stand up and the Kraang droid cock his gun.
"Leatherhead!" Raph shouted happily as a giant alligator burst through the closed door and roared. The Kraang started to shoot but the laser beams that blasted out of the gun only bounced off of the gators leathery skin. The clawed hand of Leatherhead came down on the Kraang, swiping him out of the way.
The alligator, next, threw his giant hands onto the control panel that sat next to Raphael's cage. The wall of light disappeared. "Alright!" Raph exclaimed as jumped out of the panel. "I hope you saved me some of those Kraang guys to beat up! Cause I've been dyin to- Ooook! Up I go!" Raphael said as Leatherhead picked him up and placed him on his bulky shoulders. "I can walk just fine big guy. I wasn't hurt or nothin." Raph explained.
"You should not have come here." Leatherhead scolded as he ran out the broken door and down the hall. Raph held on tight so he wouldn't fall off, which wouldn't have happened anyways thanks to Leatherheads hand which stayed up and held Raphael.
They turned a corner and appeared into a room with a big machine "What does that do?" Raph asked excitedly. He looked over and beamed when he saw two of his older brothers beating up the Kraang.
"My friends, we must leave now." Leatherhead shouted over the noise.
Leo looked up at Leatherhead and his eyes immediately landed on Raphael. His face held no emotion has he nodded and looked over to Donatello. "You ready Donnie?" He asked. Don nodded and tucked his scanning device into his belt. This time he looked over at Leatherhead, his eyes also going directly to Raph's direction. A sigh escaped his lips and he visually relaxed. Leo sliced through an exoskeleton of a droid. "Let's go!" He said as he ran towards the hall that Leatherhead and Raph had just emerged from. "There's an easy exit this way!"
"I can have the battleshell here and ready for us in five minutes!" Donnie exclaimed as he pulled out a remote.
"No need!" Raph piped in. "I already got our getaway car!" Donnie looked up at him. "What? I'm not stupid. I came prepared!" Raph smiled.
"Oh yeah, then where are your Sais?" Leo shot; his face finally showing emotion. Anger.
"Uhhh…" Raph rubbed the back of his neck "Oh look! There's the exit!" Raph pointed to the back door as the approached it; grateful that he had gotten out of the question.
Leo narrowed his eyes at the young turtle, but then turned his gaze back to the door as he ran through it.
"The kid better hurry! I'm not sitting here all night!" Bruno grumbled as he looked at the back of the bright building.
"Hey, it was your idea to wait for him." Jason said. "If it was up to me, I would be in front of a TV with a big plate of Nachos watching 'Frozen'!"
"Shut up." Bruno mumbled. He perked up slightly when the back doors of the building flew open. His cheer was immediately changed to horror when he laid eyes on what Raphael was riding. The giant alligator was back.
Raphael pointed towards their car and all the mutants heads turned towards it. Both Jason and Bruno shrunk in their seats. "I swear… He wants us to get eaten." Jason said under his breath. The blue banded turtle started to lecture the young red banded turtle. The whole conversation mute inside of Jason's safe car.
"What do you think their saying?" Bruno whispered.
"I have no idea… I can try to read his lips but he's talkin kinda fast" Jason replied. "Let's see- Crap!" Jason quickly turned the car back on as a bunch of Kraang robots burst through the back door and started shooting.
You could visually see the blue-clad turtle groan. A couple of more words were shared and Leo took Raph from Leatherhead and the three turtles were running over to the car while the alligator began swiping its huge claws and taken down the Kraang easily.
"Do I drive…. Or let them in?" Jason asked. His question was answered when Leo ripped open the car door and collapsed into the car with Donnie.
"Drive!" Leo commanded; not even bothering to see who was in the front seat.
"No!" Raph cried. "Leatherhead! We can't leave him!" Leo held onto Raph as the car turned a sharp corner. Leonardo placed Raph in the middle seat and then quickly strapped him in a seatbelt. "No! We can help! Go back!" Raph yelled as he undid his buckle and turned around in his seat to look out the back window. His eyes were huge as he desperately searched for the mutant alligator.
"Leatherhead will be fine. He promised to call as soon as he was home and safe. If he doesn't call, we're going back to help" Leo stated as he redid Raphael's buckle.
"Let's just go back now!" Raph pleaded. "He needs us!"
"Where am I headed?" Jason asked over the noise.
Leo glanced up at the driver's seat. "Drop us off at the nearest alley." Leo said. "We can… Wait," He squinted his eyes at Jason and then turned them to Bruno. His blood started to boil. "You two are the same-"
"Oh look! We're here!" Bruno said as he pointed to an alley way.
Leo suppressed a growl but let the topic slide. He jumped out of the car without saying a word.
"Thank you." Donatello said. "But please, keep our existence a secret."
"No worries." Bruno said with a swipe of a hand. "No one would believe me anyways."
"Just promise to keep that alligator away from me." Jason added.
Donnie smiled and nodded. "Deal." He agreed and the shut the car door. The two men waved as they drove away.
"No!" Raph yelled as Leo and him refused to be the first one to take their glare off of the other. "I am NOT leaving without Leatherhead!"
Leo's scowl deepened. He closed his eyes and took a calming while rubbing his temples. "If it makes you feel better, I'll go back for Leatherhead while you stay here with Don."
"But I wanna come!"
"Take it or leave it!" Leo concluded; crossing his arms and looking down patiently at the younger turtle.
Raph opened his mouth to object more but quickly closed. His face contorted in thought. He looked over at Donnie who was leaning on his Bo staff and watching the duo; waiting for an answer. "Fine." Raph grumbled.
Leo smiled and patted Raph on the head. Raphael swatted his hand away and crossed his arms; turning and facing the wall. He glared at his feet while Donnie and Leo began their new plan. "I'll go back, grab Leatherhead and be back before Mikey can say pizza." Leo explained. Donnie nodded as Leo continued. "You stay here and make sure that he," He jerked a thumb back and pointed at Raph. "Doesn't do anything stupid."
"Rodger." Don saluted. Leo gave a quick nod and then ran off; immediately disappearing into the shadows. Donnie turned to Raph who was still glaring at the ground.
"Pizza." Raph muttered. Donnie knelt down next to Raphael and tried to make the eye contact that younger turtle refused to give.
"Leo will be back soon." He promised. "Now come here."
Raph finally looked up at Donnie; a confused expression on his face. "Why?"
"I want to make sure they didn't hurt you." Donatello explained as he reached out and gently grabbed Raph's arm.
Raph jerked it back. "I'm fine! They didn't do anything!" He snapped.
Donnie let out a huff of air. "Even when you're little you're big pain in the shell!"
"What is that supposed to mean?!" Raph growled; he balled up his fists and stood his ground.
"It means you're a bad patient." Donnie rolled his eyes, but laughed slightly at the red-clad turtle's confused expression. Donnie reached up and grabbed Raph's arm again; this time pulling the young turtle towards him and keeping a firm grip even when Raph tried to jerk away. "Now hold still." Don commanded as he began his check-up.
"Don!" Raph moaned and tried jerking away again. This resulted in Donatello growing annoyed and picking up the small turtle and setting him on his lap so he could hold him still better. "This is stupid." Raph grumbled.
Donnie just chuckled.
The roar of an irritated alligator was unmistakable. Even in the loud city of New York, Leonardo could hear the crashing of the fight. He ran across the rooftops and smiled when he saw Leatherhead doing just fine on his own. Leo jumped down right when the gator tore apart the last robot. "Impressive."
Leatherhead looked up. His eyes unclouded themselves and he blinked a couple of times. His eyes landed on Leonardo. "Did I not call soon enough?" He asked.
"No, you're fine. Raph's just a worry-wart. That's all."
The mutant smiled. "Shall we go home then?"
Leo nodded. "Let's. I have some scolding I need to attend too.
Bruno slowly made his way up the stairs that lead to his apartment. He officially hated kids.
They were annoying, and messy, and not the brightest books on the shelf. They grew up to fast, they were loud, and irresponsible. Even his little buddy Raphael had had faults. He was hot-headed and always jumped to conclusions; in fact, Bruno didn't think the kid even thought at all! They were hard to handle and never listened to anything you told them. And they just bugged the crap out of him. His list could have continued, but he was too tired.
Bruno dug the key out of his pocket. He unlocked the door and stumbled into his apartment; shutting the door and locking it back up behind him. He blinked in confusion when he saw all of the lights were still on. He could have sworn he had turned them off.
"Bruno? That you?"
Ah, that's why the lights were on. Bruno smiled as a freckled face showed itself from behind a corner. Her brown/blonde hair fell to one side as she tilted her head around the corner and smiled brightly at him. The rest of her quickly followed as she emerged the rest of the way from the corner. She had baggy pink polka-dot pajama pants on and a white tank-top.
"Yeah, just me." Bruno smiled as he kicked off his shoes.
The girl looked a bit sheepish. A small smile played on her lips as she stared at her feet that wiggled in the carpet.
"Mattie? What's up babe? You ok?" Bruno asked as he approached her. He placed his hand under her chin and tilted her face up. He leaned down slightly and kissed her. Her lips soft on his as she gave back the kiss. He pulled away and laughed slightly. "We are never having kids." He said and then went in for another kiss, but was stopped when two gentle hands were placed on his chest. The pushed at him slightly. Bruno looked at Mattie's face. Her original emotion it held was replaced with complete sadness.
"Bruno…" She choked out. Tears danced in her Brown eyes. "Bruno, I'm… I-I'm pregnant." Her breath hitched and she wouldn't meet the man's gaze anymore.
Bruno stayed emotionless for a moment before a big smile spread across his lips. He quickly picked up the girl and spun her around. When he placed her back down he laughed at her confusion. "Good." He sighed as he pulled her into another kiss.
