"Look, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."
"Sorry doesn't cut it!" Cagalli growled, sending Kira her best death glare "How could you not trust us?" then she looked at Shinn and backtracked "Okay, I don't know about Shinn, but how could you not trust ME? AKA Your lord and saviour."
Shinn snorted "You? Saviour? You're more likely to be Satan and destroyer not lord and saviour."
"Watch it Santa" Cagalli retorted. As Shinn flipped her the bird.
Kira sighed and felt a little weight lift from his shoulders, after opening gifts, a pillow fight and a pleasant breakfast he decided to share his worries with his family.
Silence settled among the cousins, each lost in their own thoughts.
"Do you think it could be Fllay?" Shinn asked.
"I don't know" the brunet moaned slumping further into his seat.
"There's a high possibility it is that red headed troll" Cagalli sniffed "I've never liked her from the start, what could you have possibly seen in her?"
"Not the right time Cagalli" Kira muttered darkly.
Cagalli waved her hand "What do you mean not the time? Ever heard the saying you reap what you sow? If you had just manned up a bit and told her to leave you alone earlier or if you had maybe not become a playboy then we wouldn't be in this situation!"
There was a staring match between Kira and Cagalli, Shinn sighed but didn't say anything. Kira and Cagalli hardly fought—when they did however it usually was violent and best to stay out of it.
"Look I can't change the past—" Kira started.
"Damn right you can't" Cagalli snapped, she felt frustrated beyond belief. Standing up she muttered 'later' and stormed up to her room to think and cool down.
Hours later the three cousins were in Cagalli's room, focused and ready, armed with pens, paper and Pepsi. They all slipped on their game face, this was going to be a long night.
"I don't get it. Why don't we just call the police and have them trace the line" Cagalli put in "Also we have to call Lacus and tell her about it."
Kira was silent as he mulled over Cagalli's suggestion "When she comes back I'll tell her, and we'll both go to the police and ask for a restraining order for Fllay."
"Fine" Cagalli sighed "But don't be like Shinn and wait till the last minute!"
Shinn gave her a droll look, "Did you know, I'm a proud citizen of Procrastination."
"Oh, how could I forget?" Cagalli replied sarcastically
Kira snickered "Citizen? I'd have taken you to be mayor."
"You're one to talk, with your track record you'd be President!"
The three cousins laughed, glad the tension had ceased a little, watching Kira, Cagalli made a mental note to keep a close eye on him and stay more alert.
Noticing something on the wall beside Kira's head Cagalli screamed.
"What? What's wrong?" Kira asked jumping up, eyeing the horror struck look on the blonde's face.
"C-c-cen—"
"What the hell Cagalli!" Shinn said following his cousin's line of sight then froze "Oh no. No, no no. Oh helllll no!"
Kira frowned "What's wrong with you two?"
"CENTIPEDE!" Cagalli cried running to the door "KILL IT KIRA!" she demanded throwing a tissue box at him.
"ME? KILL THAT? YOU'RE SUCH A LAUGH! LET SHINN DO IT! SCREW THIS I'M OUTTA HERE!" he said rushing to the door with Shinn behind him yelling "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!"
"Hey Babe you look stressed."
Currently Cagalli was working an extra shift at the cafe when her usual annoying customer appeared.
"It's nothing" Cagalli replied, taking out a pen she looked at Athrun with a deadpanned expression "And don't call me babe!"
Athrun chuckled ordering a coffee and piece of chocolate strawberry cake, scribbling his order Cagalli nodded and went to the kitchen. Athrun frowned, ever since he came back the demeanour around his girlfriend had changed, it was like she forced herself to act normal.
'Maybe she really miss me' he guessed, but then again even Kira didn't sound like he usually did, he seemed depress and tense. Shinn was also uncharacteristically quiet and down.
'Maybe they also missed me as well' he laughed 'I am one damn sexy man.' Joking aside he was truly worried for his friends.
"Something has to be done" Athrun sighed 'but what?'
Two chairs were pulled out beside him, snapping the young man out of his thoughts "S'up Athrun?" Kira greeted him as he brunet and Shinn took a seat.
Athrun smiled 'Perfect' as an idea popped into his head "Nothing much" he said his lips twisting into his trademark smirk.
Glancing at the clock he leaned in and whispered for his mates to meet him in the empty dining room in five minutes.
"Why?" Shinn asked confusion written all over his face.
"Because, I have to talk to you" Athrun said seriously "It's about Cagalli."
Sharing a knowing look Kira and Shinn nodded as Athrun stood up and made his way to the back of the café.
As he passed the kitchen he grabbed Cagalli who was exiting it.
"The fu-Athrun! What's the meaning of this?" she questioned as he dragged her to the empty room.
'I'm getting a feeling of déjà vu' the girl thought warily.
Once they were in the room Cagalli pulled her arm away from him and placed both hands on her hips "Okay buddy, what do you want?"
The emerald eye lad stood back stuffing his hands in his pockets and rakishly let his eyes travel her body "I'm enjoying the view."
Cagalli narrowed her eyes glaring daggers at Athrun "Now where did I put that baseball bat?" she said in a low voice.
"Please," Athrun grinned cockily "We both know that it would do you no good."
The blonde girl threw her head back and laughed "Looks like you forgot what happened the last time you pissed me off."
Before Cagalli could react Athrun grabbed her shoulder and pulled her to him enveloping her lips with his in a searing kiss.
Suddenly the door opened with a loud bang.
"YOU BASTARD!" Shinn screamed.
Kira cracked his knuckles, a dark satanic demon aura surrounding him "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
"Gotta fly!" he winked dashing out the door, but not before giving Cagalli the 'Call me' sign.
Cagalli yelled "OH HELL NO! ATHRUN!" and ran after him with Shinn and Kira.
'Mission accomplished' Athrun grinned flying to his car before the Satan trio caught him and killed him. With them all riled up he imagined that they would have magically mastered the art of killing him with a spoon.
