Me: You are probably questioning why I haven't updated lately. It's because continuous tests and assignments that keep dragging me down :(. I have my half-yearly test next week so no updates until after.

Chapter 5: Free and distant memories
Somewhere in Sinnoh
"Hey, wake up! Come on, wakey-wakey, why isn't she waking up?"
"She's probably tired, duh"
"Don't talk back at me like that!"
"Sorry, Rose"
Then Platinum's eyes slowly fluttered open just to see the ones who had been hurting her a few hours ago stare into her silver eyes. "Ahhhh!" Platinum shrieked and swiftly moved back and huddled herself in a ball and shivered. "Get up princess, Miss M want to see you" Rose snared and crossed her arms with a not impressed face. "M-miss M?" Platinum stuttered and looked up. "Oh ple-ease, you can't even remember the girl who forced me to apologise to you, how pathetic" Rose replied and smirked. "Rose, I think you're being a little too mean to her, I think…" Daffodil suggested and tried to defend Platinum a little. "Don't you remember what she called us earlier? COMMONERS! You think we should just let her go, just like that!" Rose shouted in Daffodil's face angrily. "But Rose…" "That's it I'm gettin' outta here" Rose angrily stated and stormed off.
Then Daffodil turned around and saw Platinum Staring wide-eyed at where her argument with Rose was. "Are you okay?" Daffodil questioned and sat down beside her. Platinum was surprised at this friendly gesture and moved to the side. "I guess you don't trust me now after what just happened" Daffodil sighed and managed to let out a small chuckle. Platinum turned her head to the side to see part of Daffodil's face looking up at the ceiling. "I don't expect you to talk to me, or even want to see me at all, but I just want you to hear me out…of what Rose's past was" Daffodil said with a slight stern face. "Rose's…past?" Platinum asked and was curious of why Rose was acting mean to her and everyone else.
"Well I don't know all the details but I'll tell you everything I know, well it starts with this…"
Flashback, 10 years ago Rose: 6 years old
"Mommy, can we go see papa?"
"Not now honey, it's not visiting hours yet"
"But I want to see him too"
"Me too…but you'll have to wait"
"Awwwww"
Young Rose looked up to her mother's eyes and told her "I love you mum". Rose's mum was surprised at her daughter's sudden outburst of affection but smiled and replied "I love you too"
One year later, Rose: 7 years old
"Daddy, are you going to be alright?"
"Don't worry sweetie, everything is going to be okay, just promise me…that you'll never give up your dreams?"
"…I promise"
"That's good… I'm sorry for missing your birthday party last year, was it fun?" Rose's dad asked weakly. "Oh yeah, we had streamers, balloons, cake, presents and everything else fun! The cake was strawberry and cream, my favourite flavour!" Rose exclaimed as she brightened up. "Hahaha…" Rose's dad chuckled and quickly remembered something. "Roselyn, I've been meaning to give you something" Rose's dad said in a serious voice. "What is it? Is it a present?" Rose asked as she was curious of what it was because her father usually doesn't say her full name. "I want you to have this" Rose's dad answered and handed her a pokeball. "I-it's my very first Pokemon!" Which Pokemon is it?" Rose excitedly asked. "Go and see for yourself." Rose's dad replied and smiled. Rose slowly pressed the button of the pokeball and a Pokemon came out of it. "OH WOW, A MAREEP! THANKS DADDY!" Rose thanked him and hugged him then the Mareep and she was totally unaware of Mareep's static ability.
"Haha, now be careful of Mareep's static ability otherwise you'll…oh, I said that a bit too late, didn't I?" Rose's laughed at Rose's shocked face with her hair frizzled. Then Rose's mother came in and looked at the scene. "Oh dear, such a shocking incident we have here" Rose dad sheepishly said and rubbed the back of his head. "Your jokes never cease to surprise me, Rouge" Rose's mum smiled and sat down as she saw Rose playing with her Mareep.
"Have decided on a nickname yet?" Rose's mum asked Rose. "No…not yet" Rose replied as she kept looking at Mareep's face and her mother's face. "How about…Fluffykins?" Rose asked and lifted up Mareep. "Ma-reep!" Mareep happily cried out and nodded her head. "Okkie-dokie, your name's now Fluffykins!" Rose happily stated and skipped around the room.
"Sienna, I need to tell you something important" Rose's ad stated and motioned her to come closer. She stood up and walked toward him and kneeled down and asked "What is it?" "I'm afraid… my time is nearly up" Rose's dad shakily said and clutched his chest to try to stop the pain from coming. "Don't say that dear, everything going to be okay, I assure you that" Rose's mum softly replied as she felt tears coming from her eyes. "E-even if I'm gone just m-make sure Rose is safe okay?" Rose's dad weakly whispered and tears fell down from his face. "Okay, okay, just stay alive okay?" Rose's mum cried and placed her forehead on his shoulder.
Then a nurse came in and told them "Visiting hours are now over." "Okay, Rose, it's now time to go home now" Rose's mum said and wiped the tears away from her eyes. "Ok, bye daddy and thanks for getting me Fluffykins" Rose told him and hugged him and exited the room.
2 hours later
Rose and her mother were eating dinner in the dining room and were having a conversation about what to feed Rose's Mareep, Fluffykins. "I think giving it some hay might help dear" "No way, she needs cereal!"
*Ring ring*
"I'll go get that Rose"
"Okay mum"
Rose's mother pick up the phone from the table and answered it. "Hello? Who is this?" she asked. "Hello its Doctor Von Grande here… and I'm here to tell you that your husband, Rouge Bándearg…
Is dead"
3 years later, Rose is: 10 years old
Rose's mum is currently trying to keep the house due to her not being able to pay the rent and is trying to work harder and earn more money. She has barely any time to spend with Rose and Rose goes into depression.
"Maybe I'm being a burden to mum, she acts like if she doesn't really want me around anymore, I can't even get a job, I'm too young" Rose thought as she sat on her bed with her legs crossed. She looked around the room and fund her photo album and looked at the pictures inside. She saw many smiling faces of her whole family when her dad was still around. She remembered how 3 years ago, how her mother picked up the phone and answered it, how she lied and said that it was just 'some random person asked to buy their products', how she lied that it was actually a phone-call to said that her dad was dead.
She closed the photo album and tucked it away into a safe place and leaned against the wall. "So many misfortunes in my life so far huh, and I'm still only 10, perhaps…it might have been better if I didn't even exist at all" Rose muttered as she stared at the empty wall in front of her.
"Hmm… that gives me an idea, Fluffykins give me my watch" she ordered and clicked her fingers. The Mareep was surprised at what she did but still got her watch anyway. "Perfect, just about 2 and a half hours until mum come back. Fluffykins, fried up all the pictures in the house that have me in it but don't fry them out completely, just fry me in the pictures. I'm going to pack up my stuff okay?" Rose told the Mareep and ran off to find the largest bag in the house. Fluffykins was confused at what she was doing and she slowly got out the pictures and started to slowly fry them.
Rose soon started savaging through the storeroom to find the perfect bag and found a small tie that was crushed underneath one of the bags. She pick it up and saw that its brilliant crimson colour shone through the moonlight. Then she saw some small writhing imprinted on the back of the tie. "I wonder what it says" she thought and squinted her eyes to see what it said. The writing was surprisingly the initials 'R.B' on it. "This…belonged to my father" she thought and clutched in the firm grip of her hand.
She continued rummaging through several bags until she found the right one. It was a grey backpack with pink swirling designs all over it and had extra pocket on the outside and it was double the size of a normal backpack. "Cool!" She commented and picked up the bag. She checked what was inside and found some extra carry bags. "I guess I could get Fluffykins to hold at least 2 lightish bags, she though and exited the storeroom holding the bags.
"Mareep!" Fluffykins called out and ran towards her. "Are you done?" She asked and patted the Mareep's head. Fluffykins nodded and nuzzled her on the leg. "Good job, now I just need to pack up some clothes, get some toiletries, pack some food and get some money, just wait near the door, kappeesh?" Rose asked and ran toward her room to pack up her things.
1 and a half hours later
"Okay I'm done! We're good to go!" Rose cheerfully said and put some bags around Fluffykins to hold. The Mareep wasn't used to hold stuff so she kind of tumbled over. "Well, I guess I'll take one more bag" She sighed and took off the heaviest bag and the Mareep stood up again. She opened the door and smelt the fresh air coming inside the house. "Wow, I almost forgot about the smell of fresh air since I haven't been outside much lately, being home-schooled by a computer has prevent me from coming out" Rose told the Mareep and they walked out and closed the door behind them. "I'll keep the keys just in case of emergency", she thought.
"Soon you won't be holding so many bags anymore since I'm going to catch some more!" she told the Mareep and show her the pokeballs which were inside the heaviest bag. "Maaa-reep?" Fluffykins asked as she looked inside the bag. "Yes that's right…
I'M GOING TO BE A POKEMON TRAINER!"
"Aaaannnd… that's all I know" Daffodil ended the partial story of Rose's life. "…I feel like if that's not the whole story to it, I mean…she seem pretty happy in the end but now she… seems grumpier." Platinum commented. "Well, I know I'm missing a part after what I just told you but I know the part after that thought…" Daffodil mumbled. "May I ask, what is that part that you have missed?" Platinum politely asked, "You don't have to tell me". "That part is even more personal than what I just told you, so I'd rather not say it" Daffodil replied with a dark tone.
Daffodil thought "This girl isn't as nosy as I thought, I guess I'm used to making whatever Rose says is correct, I guess I have to start thinking for myself more…I guess that's why Lavender barely hangs out with us anymore" "Um, excuse me, Miss Daffodil?" Platinum asked. "What is it?" Daffodil asked and yawned because she was tired from talking. "Aren't you supposed to take me to Miss Magenta?" Platinum questioned and stood up. "Oh crap, I forgot, here take this" Daffodil panicked and gave her back the diamond and pearl rings. "How did you even…"Platinum stated. "We're trained to steal as well as fight and many other things, now we need to go" Daffodil quickly mentioned and grabbed Platinum wrist and ran towards the offices, while Platinum struggled to follow her.
Snowpoint City
"We still can't find her!"
"Can't we get Lady's detective friend, who is called…Loofah or something?"
"Of course not Diamond he's still in Unova doing some sage case remember? Also his name was Looker apparently" Pearl responded and crossed his arms and looked at the temple. "If we don't find Lady soon, we have to contact her parents" Diamond suggested and ate a hot dog that he got from behind his back. "Uh how did you get that?" Pearl asked. "I just did" Diamond bluntly answered.
"Okay…so while we're here, why not do some training?" Pearl suggested so they can get their mind off of what just happened. "Okay, why not? Get it? It sounds like Wynaut!" Diamond pointed out and Pearl fell backwards. "We've got to work on our manzai acts" Pearl solemnly stated and sweatdropped at Diamond's horrible sense of humour.
During Training
"Hey Pearl"
"Hmm, what Diamond?"
"Who are bringing to the dance?"
"Wait…what?" Pearl asked as he was shocked that Diamond would asked such a question. "I said who are you…" "I know what you said…it's just…I don't know who to bring" Pearl responded and looked down at his feet and frowned. "Hmm…how about Cathlin?" Diamond suggested and munched on his rice ball. "W—what? But I barely know her" Pearl stated. "I can't really think of someone else, plus she's only 2 years older than you, so it doesn't really matter" Diamond replied with a logical explanation.
"Even if I wanted to ask her to go, how am I supposed to know her number?" Pearl retorted. "Simple, I have the right book for that" Diamond responded and took out a book from his back and gave it to Pearl. "How did you do that?" Pearl asked as he was once confused again. "I don't know, I just did" Diamond replied with almost the exact same answer as earlier." The Book of Current and Past Champions and Elite Four and Frontiers and Gym Leaders, maybe you're right it might be in this book" Pearl stated and took out his phone.
"Wait! Don't call her now don't you know what time it is?" Diamond yelled. "Uh, oh, its lunch hour, whoops" Pearl replied. "Sometimes you're very impatient Pearl" Diamond mumbled. "Let's continue training" Pearl suggested and sent out his Unfezant. "Fine" Diamond answered.
Somewhere in Sinnoh (back with Platinum)
"Okay, she's behind this door, all you have to do is knock but if she isn't in there, then she's in the kitchen making pie, I'll be taking my leave now" Daffodil told her and walked away. 'Okay, goodbye Miss Daffodil" Platinum said and nervously knocked on the door. "You can come in" said a cheerful voice behind the door. Platinum slowly opened the slide doors and saw that the office was beautiful.
The walls shone against the light as they were painted in bright Yellow with outlines of gold. The picture frames on the walls were straight and everything was neat and tidy. There was even a window to look out at the lively green forest with bushes blooming with flowers and there with some Pokemon battling there but she couldn't tell what kind they were.
"You like my office? I took a while to make it look nice…anyway, take a seat" Magenta told her. Platinum took a seat and noticed how the seat was very comfortable and was made out of leather. "I sent you to discuss an important matter and I want you to listen very carefully" Magenta said in a sudden serious tone. "What is it?" Platinum asked. "Your parents, they lied about your life…" Magenta whispered mysteriously. "W-what do you mean?" "That's for you to find out later, Platinum but I also need to give your Pokemon back first" Magenta replied and gave back all her Pokemon.
"Thank you, is there anything else?" Platinum questioned. "Yes I do…" Magenta stood up and walked towards her, "…and that is to knock out some memory out you". Platinum as was about to pass out, she saw a flash of green smoke from her hand after Magenta shouted some word that she didn't recognise.
2 hours later, in Sandgem Town, in front of her mansion
"We have to tell her parents but how?" Diamond questioned Pearl. "Well how am I supposed to know? What do we tell them? I'm sorry Mr Berlitz and Mrs Berlitz, I'm afraid that your daughter is missing ever since a few hours ago, that's never going to work!" Pearl frantically shouted and grabbed his hair and pulled it. "Well we could always try…Lady!" Diamond was about to suggest something but saw her body in front of the Berlitz mansion. "No you dimwit, Lady's the one missing!" Pearl said as he was paying attention to Diamond and trailed onto his own thoughts.
"No seriously it's Lady!" Diamond shouted and ran towards her. "What? Oh Arceus, it is her!" Pearl also shouted and ran towards her. She looked peacefully asleep but they saw some ugly cuts and bruises on her skin and her Pokemon seemed terrified of something. "Lady, please wake up, please wake up" Diamond pleaded and shoe her sided to side but that didn't wake her up. "Come on Dia, let's take her back into her mansion, okay?" Pearl told him. "That seems like a good plan" he replied and sent out his Bisharp and commanded him to carry Platinum carefully.
Inside the Mansion
"How did Miss Berlitz get injured and knocked out?" Sebastian asked them worriedly. "I wish I could tell you sir but I cannot because I wasn't there when it happened, I'm sorry" Diamond apologised. "It's not your fault or your friend's fault I see, but I'm still curious about what happened with her, even her Pokemon are acting strangely, they seem…terrified" the butler pointed out. "Even if they knew something, we can't exactly communicate with them properly, it's like if they're losing trust with humans or something" Pearl answered with a frown.
"I will contact Miss Berlitz's parents right away, they need to know about this before we contact the police" the butler said and speed walked away to find a telephone. "Pearl, do you think someone is targeting her?" Diamond asked out of the blue. "I can't really tell Dia, but if this keeps happening then yes" Pearl responded.
"Urgh" Platinum mumbled as she felt herself waking up. "Lady! Are you alright? What on earth happened to you?" Diamond frantically asked. "Not really, there's a lot of bruises and cuts that are hurting my skin but otherwise I'm quite fine thank you" Platinum replied weakly. "I'll get a first aid kit alright? I'll be back" Pearl said and hurried off to find a first aid kit.
"So Lady…what happened? A street fight? Did you get ambushed or something?" Diamond asked worriedly. She tried to remember it all but she couldn't for some odd reason, she only seemed to remember talking to a pink-haired woman then knocked her out by some green smoke or dust. "I'm sorry Diamond but…I can't seem to remember it all for some reason, all I did remember was being knocked out by green smoke. "Green smoke? How?" Diamond questioned her. "Well the woman whispered an odd word that I haven't heard of and green smoke instantly formed in her hand and she shot me" Platinum truthfully said.
"Green smoke forming on her hand? I think you're describing…a sorcerer Lady" Diamond concluded. "A sorcerer? She can't be one! There is no such thing!" Platinum argued back. "Then how do you explain green smoke coming from her hand" "…"
"I got the first aid kit!" Pearl shouted from the other side of the room and ran to them. After bandaging up Platinum, she tried to communicate with her Pokemon but they wouldn't show any other expression except for fear. "Oh dear, how will we ever know what happened?" Platinum thought.
Somewhere on Mt. Coronet
A girl and a boy ran inside a cave to get shelter and were huffing and puffing. The girl had deep red eyes full of mysteries wore a purple coat and a white scarf. She also wore pink stocking and brown boots and a purple beanie. Her long black hair was tied into two pigtail that ended with a slight curve. The boy had blue eyes that were the same colour as the ocean itself and wore a grey coat and long blue pants. He wore black boots and a blue scarf and a grey beanie. His hair was also black and his long ponytail ended in a slight curve as well.
"Why did we have to come here during this time of the year? It's so cold!" the boy complained. "I'm sorry brother but we need to speak with Arceus though" the girl replied in a monotone voice. "But Purrrrrrrrrrpppplllllllleeeeeeee, urgh, I wish it wasn't so cold, did you even bring the flute?" the boy asked. "Of course I did, do you think I'm stupid? My IQ is higher than you, Grey" the girl who was revealed as Purple said casually. "Whatever, just asking" the boy who was revealed as Grey said.
"So we've already spoke with the Lake trio, Heatran, Darkrai and Cresselia, all we need to do is speak with Arcues and Dialga, Palkia and Giratina" Purple stated and munched on her sandwich. "And then uncle's dream will come true" Grey stated. "The domination of the whole world" they both whispered.
Me: That was intense

Daffodil: She's probably upset that I told half of her back-story
Me: So yeah, I going to be updating more after next week but that doesn't mean daily updates though, I can't do that oh wait, I have camp the week after half-yearly tests! Whoops, maybe more updates in 2 weeks then. Plus there is a lots of important hints in this chapter that will be important for later such as the last name 'Von Grande'
