So... It's been a while... (understatement of the millennium). Honestly, I was re-reading some of the reviews from this story and a lot of people were requesting I continue the story, so here I am! I know a ton of you have probably forgotten Bumping Into Love or moved on after this long, but nonetheless, THIS IS FOR YOU MY LOVELY, INSPIRATIONAL REVIEWERS 3

Here's something I wrote in one go tonight. It's probably a different style and different writing than the rest of the story just because, again, ITS BEEN A WHILE and my writing has changed a lot.

This is a really, really short chapter and more of a transition between different storylines and a cute Piper/Leo scene because I feel like their friendship should be written about. The NEXT CHAPTER, however, will contain some juicy jason/piper stuff that will continue for the next few chapters... :)

Enjoy! REVIEW

PIPER POV

"So… what exactly are we doing here?" I didn't really mind the crunch of the leaves or the fact that we were plunging deeper and deeper into the thick forest, but I was a bit confused.

"Just wait," Leo turned his head back to grin at me. "I don't want to tell you and ruin the surprise!"

I rolled my eyes, but followed the curly-haired boy as we lapsed into a comfortable silence and basked in the calmness of the forest around us. Finally, after what I suppose was at least a 15 minute walk, we made it into a clearing.

"Wow, it's beautiful, Leo. But again, what are we doing here?"

A smile appeared on the boy's face as he said, "Look to your left." There, almost hidden by the branches of a large oak tree, was a something that resembled a cross between a treehouse and a shack.

"This," Leo explained as he lead Piper forward, "Is my workshop." Piper let out a "Woahh" as she entered through a wooden doorway and took in the scraps of paper filled with drawings tacked to the walls, the tools on the table, and two small metal stools near the corner.

"I build things," Leo said with a modest shrug. "And," he said stepping closer to her and flashing a grin, "I only show this to a few people, so this officially means you are the friend of the Great Leo Valdez! You can put it on your resume, or maybe get it tattooed on your forehead! It's truly a great honor to hold such a title."

I smiled. "Hmm, I'll consider the tattoo idea…"

ANNABETH POV

Going to school the next day after the fateful Starbucks visit was… interesting, to say the least. Percy and I had gotten back together, but there were still a lot of things we hadn't talked about, especially since we were a little busy yelling at Nico and Thalia. I don't think the message about not sedating your friends and locking them in dark closets with handcuffs on really sunk in because the two looked far too pleased with themselves and the result of their schemes (which, I'm SURE were masterminded by Thalia).

When I saw Percy that morning, leaning against my locker in all of his mussed-up-raven-haired and sea-green-eyed glory, a bright smile grew on my face. When he noticed the smile, his own eyes lit up and we stood there, smiling at each other like idiots. The rational voice in my mind that was battling against the drooling-over-Percy-and-acting-like-a-lovestruck-idiot voice was telling me we would be late to class if we dawdled too long, but that voice was fighting a losing battle. When we finally snapped out of it, laughed shyly, and starting walking to class, hands brushing against each other and Percy nervously rubbing the back of his neck, it did not go unnoticed to me that a certain brunette was glaring at us furiously. HAH, take that, Rachel, I thought viciously. I felt guilty, though, because I knew exactly what it felt like to lose Percy to another girl, and a part of my heart went out to her, despite our ugly history.

Walking into class was like walking the red carpet or something. Me and Percy awkwardly attempted to ignore the whispers and blatant "OHMYGOD" (thanks for that Pipes, thanks a whole lot) as we sat down. Piper and Thalia began to whisper furiously, while Percy took out a sheet of paper and started jotting something down. I felt a little stiff, not knowing what to do with myself and just sitting there, until something landed on my desk. I opened up the small sheet of paper.

Don't let it bother you, yeah? I'm sure their all just whispering about how I'm too much of a Seaweed Brain to be with a Wise Girl like you ;)

Aww, leave it to Percy to know exactly what to say to put me at ease. I smiled sweetly at him, but payed attention when the teacher called for class to begin. The rest of class was uneventful, save for me answering every question correctly and correcting Mr. Weinberger twice about the philosophies of Plato and Socrates. Honestly, that man could at least try to make class a little more challenging.

SO, did you like it? Love it? Absolutely hate it? Want me to delete it from the web so you can pretend the story just ended at chapter 5 and is untainted by this horrible addition? LET ME KNOW. REVIEW.

Love you all 3
