Hey guys! So I noticed that no one has wanted to answer the question I asked last chapter so I am going to choose an OC that I have created over the few months. Sorry I haven't updated I will try to make this long.
I DON'T OWN THE KANE CHRRRRRRRRONICLES….
Nick
"Um" I tried to look for an answer when suddenly…
"I know! I KNOW!" screamed one of the ankle-biters. We all turned our heads toward the speaker to see it was little Timmy who yelled. "We could steal the book back and… and we um, use the book to destroy Setne?" He was slowly getting nervous as he was the center of attention. I felt disappointed that a 5-year old can devise a plan faster than me. Mind you, I'm not the strategist nor am I the smart type but I think I can handle myself in a 1+1 question (11 right?).
(AUTHORS NOTE; I'm not dumb I just want to make this humorous and the answer is 2… right?)
"Good plan, Timmy but I don't think we could steal one of the most sacred books in Egypt history from the most smartest, devious and cunning ghost in his time" Sadie explained. Timmy's face flushed and he looked down. "But that was a good plan considering your age, Timmy" He smiled in triumph as she patted him on the shoulder.
WRITERS BLOCK!
BOOOM!
Suddenly the ground shook. I ran to the nearest window to look outside. Beyond the window lay… Brooklyn. Apparently no one heard the sudden shaking of the earth. For some reason only we felt it or was it just me?
"What's the matter?" Sadie asked me. That answers my question.
"Nothing, why?" I lied. She shrugged and started lecturing the ankle-biters about babies are made. I didn't want to stay any longer so I lied once again, "Um… I need to go somewhere… important" Sadie ignored me and I slowly walked out the room. No one seemed to notice me. Strange
As I walked down the hallway a sudden flash lighted the dim hallway. I walked faster towards the light and found a sword on the ground glowing brightly. I picked it up, slowly rising to my feet. Then something happened. "Nick…"
"Who's there!?" I said, frantically looking around.
"You have been chosen to defeat Setne… Use the sword. Find out its powers and you will become very powerful…" I looked at the sword I now held in my hand and touched it with my finger.
I immediately recoiled as my finger started bleeding. "Ow!" I silently yelled. The sword was razor sharp. "I'll name you Razor" I said to myself. I sheathed the sword, attached it to my belt and walked back to class.
Once I opened the door I was greeted by a body crashing over me, hugging me tightly. "Nick! Where have you been?" It was Cleo. I hugged her back and answered,
"Um…" Truth is, I've been on the rooftop practising with Razor. Turns out if I concentrated hard enough time would slow down and I would move with lightning speed. "I was out… exercising. Yeah, exercising" I quickly took off my belt and put it in my closet. "Want to go out tomorrow?" I said trying to change the subject.
"Ok, goodnight" She said. I kissed her on her forehead and waved her goodbye. I threw myself on the bed and slept, snoring loudly.
The next morning was just like any other. School. Dates. Training. The usual. After a week of practising with Razor. I found out 3 new powers. I could read minds, disguise it and disguise myself. The night before Saturday I left Brooklyn house to visit Central Park. I disguised myself as a Teenage Skater, Razor as my skateboard. As I walked around I read the minds of some suspicious looking people until I heard this: Everything is clear no magicians in sight.
I followed the man as he walked towards an old worn down building. As the man entered the building he placed a unlock hieroglyph on the door. The door flickered and disappeared. As soon as he was inside the door rematerialized. I quickly re-disguised myself as a magician.
As I placed the hieroglyph on the door as it repeated the same action as before. The building was lighted poorly and dust was flying through the air. Crates and boxes were placed messily around. A group was huddled on a table in the middle of the building whispering as they waited for their leader to enter. I walked silently through the shadows taking cover behind one of the crates and within earshot. "We've been here for ages" One of them said. He wore a black coat over his brown sweater and dark jeans and he wore a black Ivy hat on top of his long, thick blonde hair. He looked around his thirties.
"Hello, Nick" A voice spoke.
Thanks for all the support you've given me! I've had a really really really tough life so far. Some personal stuff.
Please Read and Review! Don't stop Be-Reading! XOXO
