"Tonight's selection is a white gold blend from The Half Sun company." Sebastian offers a black china teacup to his master. The intricate red design reminded one of veins in a man's chest. The handle was gold and so was the rim. A strong aroma rose from the cup, stimulating the mind.
"I'm hungry. What's for dinner?" He asks.
"If you want food then you need to find a soul. There are none down here but those belonging to The Lady.
"What am I supposed to do then?! Find me something to eat! That's an order!"
"The greedy wee shit! He should go get some souls himself!" I scorn at the notion of giving that snob my hard-earned souls.
"You swore an oath to feed the hungry demons and my young master is hungry. Also, considering what you shall be doing later I believe that you owe him this.
"Damn those oaths." I whisper the password into the ear of my throne and the secret compartment with the key to my soul collection. I burn the key in there and use the ash to get the real key from a tray in the corner. I open the hidden door, walk three steps down the corridor and halt.
"Sebastian, do not follow me." I ordered. It's not that I don't trust him not to eat the souls I have in storage, it's because I had put many traps in these winding corridors and dark passage ways. I had to do things in a precise way and only one person could traverse this labyrinth for it to work. And anyway, I like being on my own.
I close the door and walk seven paces, bow to miss the axe then leap four feet to the left. I tap five times on the roof with my left index finger and fourteen with my thumb. I fall twenty feet down a shaft then walk fifteen feet backwards. I follow the passage to my right. I can smell the souls now but that's a trick. I'm actually further away than ever. I must be very crazy to keep having to do this to feed young demos. I come to awall with a large door covered in ivy. I crawl up the wall by the ivy and I come to a river of white wine. The smell of the wine is used to block out that of the souls. I dive into it and swim against the current for four minutes and I come to a waterfall. Behind it is a door which brings me to the final passage way which was filled with large black lions. I walk into the mass and feel them grab at my clothes, slowly getting stronger and closer to my skin. This makes normal demons turn back as you cannot see a door or any other sort of exit at the opposite wall. I leap into the air and the lions disappear to be replaced with flames. The room seems to extend. I slowly float down onto the floor and casually walk to the door, push it open and take a soul. I open the hatch above me and climb into a dark room.
"Got it!" The candles relight and Sebastian is sitting regally in my throne. He quickly jumps up, blushing. I hold out the soul in its container.
"I'm sorry." He apologises.
"Know your place, demon!" I roar, my eyes burn and my mane fluffs up. I leap at him with my teeth bared and my claws sharpened. He looked at me in fear and tried to move out of the way but I caught him. We slammed into a wall and fell into the next room, completely destroying the wall. I pin him to the ground and growl at him. There is blood on the floor, bits of debris covered the room.
"I've waited a long time for this." I whisper, my muscles clench up and my eyes look like pits of lava, staring deep into him. I see them reflecting in Sebastian's eyes. I lean in close, his eyes are wide open. I can smell faint hints of fear, much more than I expected of him. My face is nearly touching his, I can feel his breath on my skin and the soft fabric of his uniform. I move in slightly closer until our lips touch. I slowly press mine against his. I close my eyes but I know his eyes are wide open. I hold the kiss until eventually he relaxes and returns the kiss. I feel his tongue against my lips and he rests a hand on my neck. I pull away to see him looking completely relaxed with his eyes only just open.
"Didn't expect that, did you?" I purred. He sits up as I dust myself down.
"I thought you might do something worse." He fixed his shoulder and looked up at me.
"Sit in my throne again and it will happen." I growled.
"Do you mean the kissing or the mauling, May I ask?"
I smiled at his slightly puzzled look and I pull him up. I pass him the container with the soul for Ciel. He bows to me and walks off towards where Ciel had chosen to stay. I will have to wait an hour before I can go there. I look out to the darkening flames of Hell. Soon Sebastian, soon.
"What took you so long! I'm starving!" My master complains. Not long now, .
"The Lady had to go into her private storage hold to retrieve it." I reply with as much respect as I can. I'm so close now.
"That Lady is some freak. Why are you covered in dust?"
"Oh, I had to follow her down many passage ways and she hadn't cleaned for a while." I cannot tell the young master the truth. It would be displeasing.
"Now... How do I eat this?"
