"Holy crap it's a Goth!" Kanashi yelled.

"Whoa man, that's my girlfriend you're talking about!" Junpei said defensively.

…I should've known this would happen. I mean, seriously, it was something that was bound to happen since Junpei hadn't introduced Chidori to anyone else yet.

It's kinda sad actually. She's pretty cool in her own way with her no sell attitude and her surprisingly strong mind. But unfortunately her clothes were something that would immediately pin her as a Goth. I don't think anyone would be particularly pleased to see someone dressed in Gothic-like attire. I'm surprised that Junpei hadn't even stopped to think about who Chidori really was when he met her at first.

"G-Geez…" Kanashi muttered as he slowly stood up.

Chidori looked over all of the people that were in the room with a half-lidded look. Ah, that look that she always had before. I hope she isn't like that all the time at least. "Nice to meet you again and hello to anyone I may not have met before," she said with a bow.

"Hello Chidori-san! Finally well enough to be discharged?" Fuuka asked with a slight smile.

"Yes. It did not take as long as I would have anticipated… however I have made myself a quick recovery," Chidori nodded slightly. Ah, as succinct and to the point as ever. Her quick recovery might've also been contributed to her Persona. Her life giving abilities could've made a difference, even if it was small. "All throughout, Junpei has been by my side…" she said quietly.

Aw, that's nice.

"That aside, there are people here that I haven't met. Would you introduce yourself?" Chidori asked. To the point, yet as courteous as ever. Ah, I wish Nyx were more like this. Less snap would definitely be preferable to having her be ever so scathing, like she can be.

…even if she has slowly been breaking from that shell, slowly but surely.

"The name's Tsukigata Yashiro. Nice to meet you," he said, seemingly unfazed by Chidori's outward demeanour and style. Ah, I don't think he cares in fact. That's a nice change of pace. Kanashi however…

"I-I'm Baru Kanashi…" he stuttered, shuddering or perhaps trembling with anger as he spoke to Chidori. Gulp.

"I see. Nice to meet both of you," Chidori replied.

"Well now, would you care to share with the class why you're here with Chidori, Junpei?" I asked with a sigh. Well, this better be good. But then again, Junpei doesn't joke about bad stuff happening ever. I think we should be good in that respect.

"Well you see… remember how the assassination site's back up again?" Junpei asked with a sheepish grin as he looked down at Chidori worriedly.

"Of course. Everyone's been talking about it," Yashiro nodded slightly. Yeah, and Yashiro was the one who told me it was back up again.

"What about it?" Yukari asked Junpei with a bit of a worried expression. Probably wondered what shenanigans he's gotten into now. Even if she could act kinda teasing and scathing around Junpei she still wouldn't wish harm on her friend either.

"Well you see… one of the assassins actually went after Chidori," Junpei said with a serious face.

"Wait, what?" I blurted out.

"Yeah, one of them actually went after Chidori!" Junpei exclaimed, leaving the rest to mutter about the situation between them.

Well… this can't bode well at all… But why would they go after Chidori? She's been in the hospital this whole time so she couldn't possibly do anything that could have made a grudge form…

The only ones that knew her before she came into her comatose-like state were us in SEES and… Takaya and Jin. Strega. However, Jin's dead. After that Shadow attack, there was no-one to help him and there were a lot of powerful ones there. Not to mention he would've been dead already from the grenade that he threw or at least severely injured by it. The Shadows would've finished him off.

So… who could be behind this all…?

I have an idea, but it's very far-fetched… I mean, he should've died. Takaya that is.

"I think we've just gotten into something very serious," I mumbled.

"What do you mean, Minato-kun?" Fuuka asked.

"I believe… and I'll explain this to anyone who doesn't know about this later… Takaya may in fact be back," I said sternly. It would all make sense. Chidori was once part of their group but she's alive now. For whatever reason, he could try to go after her.

"What? But… Takaya and Jin should be dead, right!?" Junpei said frantically.

"Who are Takaya and Jin?" Yashiro finally said.

"The people who ran the assassination site last year… were a group named Strega. Takaya and Jin were part of that group, though Jin is dead and Chidori defected," I explained.

"What!? She's not only a Goth but an assassin too!?" Kanashi yelled, pointing at Chidori accusingly.

"I'm not anymore," Chidori said quickly. "I barely remember the last year as it is."

"Just calm down Kanashi," I mumbled. "Anyways… if this is true, which I think it is, since this is the only likely conclusion that I can draw from the fact that Chidori was targeted by the newly moderated assassination site… I think we're going to have to be very careful from now on. There are things going on, and I don't like it."

But this is seriously not how I imagined I was going to spend my year… Now there's a definite threat and Nyx… she could very well become a target if I'm not wary. She is the one who brings the Fall after all, and if the Nyxist cult that was run by Strega ever found out about that fact… it could mean that I'll have to keep a close eye on her so that she doesn't somehow get killed.

"Wait, dude! How is it that you know so much about these guys?" Kanashi asked me with a scrutinizing gaze.

…how am I going to explain this? This is going to be…

I heard footsteps coming down, getting closer. From the stairs. "Nyx-san, what are you doing here? I thought you went back up to your room?" Aigis asked.

"You are all making a very big racket. I thought it would be best to see what was going on," Nyx sighed. "Now, what is all the fuss?"

"Nyx, did you know you have a cult bent on world destruction after you?" I asked bluntly.

Nyx looked at me blankly and everything fell silent before…

She was laughing. Nyx, laughing? But it was a different kind of one. It was the mirthful one, the one full of amusement rather than happiness. "Oh is that right? It looks like more people long for it every day…" she sneered.

"What?" Kanashi asked. Ah, still clueless.

"Nyx…" I muttered. "Strega we know because we around here… he were the ones that caused them to disband," I said with a sigh.

"And Nyx… she's actually the goddess from mythology, Nyx," I sighed.

Kanashi looked around with a clueless expression before he passed out on the floor.

"Oh really?" Yashiro said with a sceptical expression. He seemed to be looking on at Nyx with a calculative gaze, trying to weigh up the factors that could possibly lead to my exclamation being true. "I can see that happening," he nodded.

Wait, what? He actually believes me? I thought he would've called me out for being a total crazy.

"H-How?" I stuttered.

"Just leave him Minato, he believes you so leave it at that," Nyx cut in with a smirk. Why is she so… she seems way more amused and happy about the whole situation than I thought…

"A-Anyways… What are we going to do about Kanashi?" Junpei chuckled awkwardly. "He's still passed out and everything…"

"Leave that to me," Yashiro smiled slightly with a Tarot card in between his fingers. Before anyone could say anything, the card was sent flying and it landed just by Kanashi's head.

Needless, to say… it actually woke him up.

"Holy, I thought you said you weren't going to do that anymore!" Kanashi growled as he was at full alert. I think he was even expecting another one to come flying at him…

"I didn't have coffee on hand," Yashiro shrugged.

…these guys are weird, like all my other friends. So, who's weirder? Them or me, for hanging out with weird people?

Kanashi sighed before he turned back to Nyx. "So you aren't lying, you're actually the goddess Nyx from mythology, and this isn't all a lie?" he said slowly, scrutinizing Nyx's expression.

Nyx smiled slightly, again… a smirk. "I do not lie," she laughed a little. "Or would you like some proof?"

"Nyx… don't," I sighed, a stern look appearing on my visage.

She glared at me, however she stopped after a while of me not reacting and staying strong as ever. I dunno how I did that, but I did. But I guess sometimes I can stand up to her, despite the power that she wields. "You're lucky that I don't have that to seal you away again," I muttered. I was seriously thinking about it again. There would be less trouble for everyone to deal with.

Nyx growled before finally relenting. "Fine," she said. I swear I saw her eyes glowing for a moment, but I brushed it off. It kinda looked like the glow of spiritual power…

"…I don't completely believe you. But maybe I will later if you somehow get an opportunity to use your godly powers and all," Kanashi shrugged with a bit of a competitive grin.

"You are lucky… if Minato had not stayed my hand, no doubt this building would be in complete and utter ashes," Nyx sent a cold look at Kanashi, even making him shiver slightly at the iciness of it all.

"So… Strega could be back," Yukari sighed once the tension dispersed a little.

"There are more assassins to carry out requests…" Fuuka said with a timid voice.

"And no doubt, the same people that are organizing the Nyxist cult and that same revenge site…" Aigis said with a stern voice. "They may come after Nyx if we are not careful."

"If Nyx's form here dies… well, we can kiss the world goodbye…" I sighed. And it would be my fault.

…there's a lot of work to do, isn't there? And this… this is only the start to something completely new; something bigger than just all of us that could get involved.

Am I ready?

AN: Hai, I'm bringing another chapter today, and I didn't want to write on the weekend… But I had been pumping out chapters pretty fast over the past week, so I guess I can let it slide. I don't like updating on weekends very much… Plz box me yo thoughts, I'd appreciate it.

BTW, chapters onward shall be in third person. I need it.

Imma see ya guys later.

Nights: Ha. Haha. Of course you don't.
Yeah… that scene with Koromaru was fun to write. Yeah, I have no idea where I'm gonna go with his revenge, but we'll see. Haha, it's a good thing I at least vaguely know what I'm doing when it comes to Tarot.
Of course. They're probably some of the best OCs I've ever done.
Yeah, that's a given. And yes. Things will.
Well, hope you like this chapter then.

Raidou: Correct detective!
Yeah, apparently. Dunno why.
Mmhm. He's fun to write interactions about so yeah. I thought it would be funny myself, and I knew that I got a few people pulled into that as well.
Hope you like this chapter and future ones too then!

Yoshikunitsu: No problem! Well, it's just something we'll have to see!
Well, I'm glad you like my stuff! I try to make it as entertaining as possible.
Hahaha, her feelings are things yet to be seen.
Minato is relatively free this time. But I dunno, anything's possible in the future. I haven't even FULLY worked out this story yet, even though I kinda know where I'm going on it.
Sure will.

Eivexst: Haha, yeah. So do I, except she's a girl and not a shiba-inu. Haha, yeah.
Yeah, basically! I love the way you put it btw.

Anakin: Glad you thought it was. My sense of humour's… much different to some other people's…
Also, Nyx wouldn't deck Kanashi. It's not as effective. She would value an amount of efficiency. There's another reason, but that's for later.
No… there was no such rumour, I believe. I think I would've remembered something like that.

RomanceDagger: Nope, not at all. I just write when I feel like it and update almost immediately after I finish that chapter. Nothing more. Just so happens I felt like writing more this week.

Decode: *ding ding* Yup! Cowboy Bebop's awesome and everyone owes it to themselves to watch it.
Yeah, Koromaru reminds me a bit of my dog, except smarter and not as hyper.
Good, because I did too.
Geez, people calling me 'sensei'… but thanks!
