Author's Note: Happy Halloween everyone! Once again, thank you for the follows and favourites, so as the reviews :) What is Halloween without Murasakibara and sweets, eh? ;)
A week before Halloween, Murasakibara and I had decided to dress up and go knocking on people's door for sweets. I had never done this before and since Mura-kun said that he had done it few times, I thought this year we might do 'trick-and-treat' together.
Murasakibara had decided to dress up as a bunny while I wanted to dress up as a witch. I wasn't sure why did he wanted to dress up as a bunny but I think he looked cute in it. So at around 6, I met up with Mura-kun and we decided to walk along the neighbourhood.
"Ne, Atsushi, do you remember how many sweets you got last Halloween?" I asked as I was curious.
"Hmm… Maybe around 100 sweets? I don't know… I munched them all before I got to count them…" he replied, which I wasn't shocked by it. But I was sure he may have more than 100 sweets.
My experience walking around the neighbourhood and asking for candies was enjoyable. A lot of people is familiar with Mura-kun and gave him a lot of candies more than me. At one point, I received more candies than him because the lady thought Atsushi is a bit too 'old' to do trick-and-treat which made me laughed at that thought. There was at times where I asked him to stop eating because we wanted to count who had gotten the most candies but he kept on insisting of eating them.
It was about half past eight when we finally settled down at the park benches. Both of us emptied our sweets' basket and by the looks of it, I had more candies than he does. Instead of counting, Mura-kun started unwrapping the sweets and consumed them. I too started to eat some of the sweets I had. Some of them were very cute in packaging and some of them were my favourites'.
We walked back home and Murasakibara asked me as we walk. "Can I.. Can I have some of your sweets?"
"Eh? Why? You had them, didn't you, Atsushi?"
"I saw.. I saw some of your sweets and I don't have some of them that you had…" Murasakibara was already pouting at this point, which made me smiled. Initially I didn't want to give him any of my sweets like I usually did, but since he asked me, I gave him anyways. I took a handful from my basket and gave him. His expression was priceless: A happy kid who had received more candies.
"Arigatou. I hope I can save some of them in the future…"
"Hm? I thought you always finished them soon?"
"These candies are from you… so I think it's better to eat them slow than I always do…"
I blushed knowing what he meant. "Ahh.. so desu ne…" I think he meant that he would want to appreciate the sweets from me.
We were finally reaching my home. I live in an apartment and visitors can only be by the gates as there were security posts.
"*Arigato gozaimasu, Atsushi. I really enjoy today."
"Un.. No worries. I had fun too… It's more fun this year since I have someone like you accompanying me."
I tried to hide my blush and quickly said, "Jya, *oyasuminasai Atsushi." I bowed at him and as I rose up from my bow, he held me by my waist and had our face met. My eyes were widened by his action, mainly as I was experiencing a shock. His face came nearer and I can felt his lips touching mine.
Our lips touched momentarily before I felt a candy into my mouth. As soon as the candy was in my mouth, Atsushi removed his lips from mine and gave me an evil smile. I wasn't expecting this at all. That was my first kiss!
"*Oyasumi. I hope you enjoyed the candy." Atsushi left me in shocked. The candy was still in my mouth and I could not believe what had just happened. The evil bunny stole the witch's kiss.
oyasuminasai - Good night
oyasumi - Usually a reply to oyasuminasai, can mean 'night'.
arigato gozaimasu - thank you very much
