The next morning...
Amy's pov.
I woke up and not from a nightmare for once but i found myself tucked in.
"Optimus." I whispered. "I wanted to talk to him yet i didn't i wanted to call him dad but how could i? what does a dad even do? can i just go up and ask to be picked up? to talk? I have no clue." I wanted to cry i did but i couldn't bring myself to. I got out of bed quickly got dressed and ran out of the room to look for Optimus. He wasn't in his room so i ran down the hallway to the main room. I almost ran into Jazz.
"woah there Little lady. Everything ok?" He asked. I paused. I felt really uncomfortable.
"Um. wheres Optimus?" I asked. Jazz frowned.
"He is out on a mission wit de' others. Why? You need something?" I shook my head and headed back to my room. i woke Anna up and we headed off to school.
I tried my hardest to focus but my thoughts were occupied with "what is a dad?"
The teacher who sent the letter home with me was not happy and unfortunately she was my music teacher so i had her after lunch and then after school for extra practice. but overall it was okay. when we got back to base with Raf, Miko and Jack Optimus was still not there.
I finally decided to go to the training room. i turned my radio on and this song came on.

I finished breathing deeply. after a few deep breaths i headed back to my room to do the last bit of my homework and some studying.
"He Amy?" Miko asked softly when i walked in.
"Yes Miko?"
"Is it ok if Anna came over for a sleepover? You can come to." She asked. I looked at Anna who smiled with that pleading look.
"Is all your homework done?" I asked. She nodded. "Go have fun. I have some studying to do."
"Yay! Thanks sis! See you tomorrow." She said grabbed her packed bag and they all left leaving me alone to study. I must have lost track of time cause i jumped when my door was opened.
"Sorry Amy." Jazz said. "I was just comin to check on ya." I nodded and rubbed my face. I glanced at the clock 11:47pm.
"Is Optimus back yet?" I asked. Jazz frowned.
"No, is there something Jazz can help you with?" He asked. I shook my head. "Ok well holler if ya need somethin." He added and left.
I stood up stretched and moved to sit at the kitchen table with a glass of water and waited.
...later Optums's pov...
WE had just returned to base after the long mission. The others had headed off to stasis while i updated Ratchet on our findings when Jazz walked up.
"Hey Prime." He greeted.
"Hello Jazz. How are you?" I replied.
"Worried about Amy." My concern skyrocketed but i cept my composure.
"Is she alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, well kinda. She was lookin for ya dis mornin." He explained.
"Looking for me? Did she say why?" I asked. He shook his head. "Thank you Jazz."
I headed off to check on Amy. I laid down on my berth and activated my holo-form i quietly entered her room. She wasn't in her bed but at the kitchen table asleep. So i carefully picked her up and put her in bed.
...the next morning Amy's pov...
I woke with a start but wasn't sure why. I got up, got dressed and packed my bag for school. I looked up and tensed when there was a knock on my door.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"It's Optimus. May i come in?" He asked. My heart stopped, stomach flipped, and breath caught.
"I guess." I answered after a minute. The door opened and he stepped in. I glanced at him before looking away. I don't know why i felt so uncomfortable i wanted to talk to him right?
"Amy? Jazz said you were looking for me yesterday." He go right to the point. I bit my lip but said nothing. "Is everything okay?" He took a step forward and i growled. something snapped and i changed.
...Optimus's pov...
As soon as i took a step she changed from slightly tense quiet to defensive and she became more tense.
"It's okay Amy." I said calmly.
"I have to get to school." She growled. I held in a sigh and stepped back and let the holo-form disappear.
I did not understand why she became so tense whn i stepped closer i will note not to do that in the future.
...Amy's pov...
I was so angy and frustrated with myself. "Why couldn't I go talk to him? Why did i do that?!" I growled as i drove off to school.
...after school...
Anna decided to ride with me as i headed back to base. she held me tightly as i drove down the highway. When we entered base i parked my bike and we get off.
"Thanks Amy." Anna said.
"Anytime honey." I replied. She and I went to do our homework before anything else. After our homework she went of to hang with Raf and Bee. I headed to the main room. I saw Optimus talking with Ratchet and Prowl. So i walked up to the platform.
"What if he doesn't want to? What if he thinks its stupid? what if im letting my guard down to soon?" My thoughts were going crazy and i didn't notice them stop talking until i heard my name.
"Amy?" Prowl asked. "Are you well?" I swallowed and nodded once I looked at Optimus.
"Um. Optimus, can we um...talk?" I asked. He was just about to answer when the computer beeped.
"Optimus Decepticons on the move near a small town in Texas." Ratchet said.
"I'm sorry Amy we will talk when i get back. Autobots! Transform and roll out!" He called and headed through the ground bridge. My heart pretty much shattered.
"Amy?" Ratcte asked. I looked at him for a second before walking down to my bike getting on and speeding out of base. The one time i ask him the cons have to be stupid! I couldn't take it anymore!
I sped down the highway as i tried to not feel the pain. I slowed as i entered town. A song started playing in my head.

I looked up at the skies the stars blinked back at me, I felt headlights on my coming from my right I looked over as they got brighter and a vehicle slammed into me. I felt throbbing pain in my right knee as i was sent flying with my motorcycle.

Amy went flying hitting her helmet on the pavement knocking her helmet off, she rolled and slid several more meters before coming to a complete stop. She lay there almost motionless. The vehicle that hit her drove up beside her and stopped and four men got out.

Amy was picked up roughly and thrown into the van and they drove off with her into the darkness off night.

I felt pain and anger, fustration, sadness and fear. "I wish i had gone to Opimus sooner. Why did i push him away? Please take care of Anna for me." I thought and passed out.
