There were times when after class, Murasakibara and I would go to any local stores and we would buy snacks and eat them together. I guess it was a way of calling it a 'date' by Atsushi. Not that I didn't mind but sometimes, he could be very protective of his snacks.
Just like that one time where we were sitting by the garden benches, enjoying the scenery when suddenly 2 kids approached us and asked us innocently if they can have some of the snacks we were eating.
"Atsushi, do you mind giving me 2 of your umaibo?" I asked Mura-kun and his response was hiding away that box of umaibo, an indication of 'no' from him. He placed it at the side and shook his head immediately.
"Awww c'mon Atsushi. You have a lot of them. It doesn't hurt giving me just 2, y'know…" I pouted at Mura-kun while saying that. He stared at me momentarily before taking out 2 umaibos, giving it to me. I think my pouting might have won against his protectiveness of his snacks. I took it from Mura-kun's hands and gave it to the 2 kids with a smile, "Here. Say thank you to *oniichan."
The 2 kids thanked Murasakibara and ran away happily. I turned to Atsushi and complimented him, "Thanks Atsushi." He looked at me with his lazy eyes before taking the box out again. He opened a wrapper and gave it to me to my surprise, saying, "You can take this."
I took it and enjoyed munching the umaibo. I guess Atsushi is as childish as the kids when it comes to snacks.
