Amy headed off to the training room to try her knee to see if she could work with it. At first, she didn't do much over the course of three days she was tired of everyone telling her she shouldn't walk on her knee she shouldn't strain her wrist or anything for that matter she was tired of it. So tonight as she walked into the training room with her CD player in hand she was not going to leave till she got it right.
She pushed play on her player and started stretching. Then without warning she leaped through the air like a ballerina does landing on her left foot she spun when she went to switch to her right foot her knee gave out making her fall to the floor. Breathing out she growled took the brace of her left wrist and threw it aside sense her wrist was feeling better and got back up to try it again not knowing a couple bots were watching over the security cameras.
"I'll take care of her this time Prime." Jazz spoke and headed off that way. When Jazz stopped in the doorway Amy had tumbled to the ground again. He could hear her growling in aggravation. As she stood he stepped in and transformed. She looked over at his holo-form stepped out and walked over to her radio. She crossed her arms as he took her cd out and put in his own.
"Amy Prime I challenge you to a duel." He said pressing play.
"accepted," Amy replied with a slight glare. The music started as Jazz walked towards her.
"Now Amy no matter what I care about ya." Jazz spoke then he started singing the song caught her off guard.

Amy's eyes went wide hearing the lyrics before glaring at him as he continued singing. he walked beside her singing toward her as he walked passed.
He came into her apartment

Glaring as they circled each other Amy sang her part. "Why this song? It's so true! I hate it! Make it stop! He will not get to me!" She thought to herself.

Jazz moved closer almost dancing his movements so smooth. Amy following his lead and danced around the room separately. they ended up face to face as they sang the next line.

Glaring at him as they came face to face again she shoved him back slightly as he continued. They danced around the room Jazz grabbed her hand pulled her close then pushed them apart.

Amy's eyes widened slightly when Jazz changed Annie to Amy. She was unsure what he was doing but he was catching her off guard and she did not like it. He was taking her walls down and she didn't want them to come down! She wanted them higher. Right?
"He is just playing with my head. He doesn't care." Her head started spinning.

The song finished and they both breathed deeply. Amy felt something tug at her heart and she almost let it.
"Mom, what is he doing? What do I do?" Amy found herself think.
"Let me help." Jazz said. Amy glared and stepped back.
"I'm fine." The next song started and Amy realized it was one of her favorite songs in the whole world her eyes widened as Jazz took her hand and led her in a dance it wasn't slow but it wasn't that fast either.

Amy looked away when he looked into her eyes they both knew she was not fine. She knew deep down he would not let her go until she let it out. Not again.
Jazz danced with her around the room holding her close her body trying to fight but she didn't let it.

Her walls started to crumble and fall her eyes started to water slightly. She tried to blink them away but it wouldn't work.

Jazz finished softly and Amy tried to hold it in and Jazz could tell. When she tried to pull away his grip held her wrist.
"who do you want? Optimus? Ironhide? Ratchet? I'll com them just please don't hide, don't hold it in." He pleaded. Her eyes were ready to burst. She didn't want to wait but she wasn't sure who she wanted. She didn't want to cry she was supposed to stay strong right? She pulled away from Jazz who let her go.
"Mom." She whispered. His eyes saddened that was the one person he couldn't call.
"Optimus come to the training room. Amy is going downhill fast and wants her mom." Jazz comlinked Optimus.
"It's okay darlin talk to ol' Jazz." He said softly.
"Why did he take her from me?!" Amy yelled. Jazz tried to hold her but she pulled away just as Optimus ran in transformed and activated his holo-form. Amy pulled from him and turned to run only to run into the arms of Optimus. Startled she tried to step back but her knee did not want to cooperate and gave out. Optimus wrapped his arms around her waist and held her up seeing the tears forming in her eyes he was careful not to scare her.
"Amy its okay." He spoke softly.
"No! Why did he take her!? Mom! I want my Mom!" Amy cried out. "Why did he take her from me?!" Tears fell from her eyes as she covered her face with her hands. Optimus held her tight gently rubbing her back trying to let her know that he was there for her. She continued to cry for her mom. Her cries slowly got quieter and quieter until she cried herself to sleep in the arms of Optimus. Gently he picked her up and cradled her in his arms.
"Oh, sweet spark. What are we gonna do?" He spoke softly.
"We gotta protect her Prime. Don't let no one hurt her ever again." Jazz told him.
"Yes Jazz. No one will hurt my girl again." He replied and carried her off to her room and gently tucked her into bed. He gently traced her cheek with the back of his hand and softly he sang Stand By Rascal Flatts. (not putting lyrics for this one. sorry.) When he finished he kissed her forehead and left her room.
...in Amy's dream...
A shot of lightning the thunder rolls the pictures the memories all flash before her passing by so fast it makes her spin in circles trying to keep up and trying to shut it all out. Her father, the guys her mom that night it all spins until STOP! Everything comes to a complete halt. making her stumble.
Amy looked up and saw her.
"Amy hide! Keep your sister safe." Her mother said.
"Mommy, please don't leave." 8-year-old Amy begged her mother. FLASH! She was gone. All there was left was red.
Amy jolted up breathing hard. She covered her face only to feel the tears on her cheeks.
...Amy's pov...
I wanted to hide but I didn't want to be alone. I got up and left my room to find someone anyone to be with me. I walked out of Optimus's room to look for someone who would understand what I needed without me having to say anything. I stopped at the doorway that leads into the main room and looked in. Optimus, Ratchet, Ironhide, Prowl, and Jazz were in there. Not wanting them all to stare at me I waited and after a moment I caught Jazz's optic and he must have gotten the message and walked over and kneeled down. That caught everyone attention.
"Yea, Amy?" He asked. I looked down I was unsure how to voice anything at this point. I bit my lip and reached a hand out to him and he got the message and very gently scooped me up into his servos and walked down the hallway.
...normal pov...
He cradled her as he walked down the hallway to his quarters where he sat down.
"What's on your mind, Amy?" He asked softly.
"I want my mom." She told him.
"What happened?" He asked.
"He took her from me. Why?" Amy's eye pleaded with him her eyes filling with tears again.
"I don't know. I am truly sorry." He replied softly. She tried to shove the tears back but they wouldn't stop coming. "It's 'kay go ahead." He told her rubbing her back and she started crying. She cried for a while till she calmed down.
"I think its time you saw Anna and Raf. How does that sound?" He asked.
"Not like this. I need to change." She replied. He nodded and took her to her room.
"I'll wait out here for you." He said as she went in. She dug through her drawers and pulled out dark blue jeans a purple tank top and her black hoodie. After she got changed she washed her face to get rid of all the tear stains then headed back out to Jazz.
Jazz carefully picked her up and headed to the main room where the others were. When they entered Anna looked over.
"Amy!" She called out and ran towards her sister. Jazz set her down and Amy opened her arms as her sister crashed into her and held her tight. Amy wrapped her arms around her tightly not caring how much it hurt she needed this. Raf came over and Amy pulled him close as well.
"We've missed you, Amy." He said.
"I've missed you guys too," Amy told them as she pulled back. Bee walked over with his hands on his hips.
"Young lady you are in trouble!" He said half serious half kidding. Raising an eyebrow.
"What did I do?" She asked.
"You need more relax time Off your knee!" He replied. Amy rolled her eyes but didn't reply.
"Yeah, we planned the day for us!" Anna exclaimed excitedly. Amy smiled slightly.
"Alright."
So off they went Bumblebee picked up the three kids and Ratchet opened a ground bridge and he walked through. They came out and they were on a small beach on the edge of a lake with a forest behind them.
There were chairs already set up with a blanket spread out with a basket on it, there were also drinks out.
"Wow, guys what all this?" Amy asked as Bee set her in a chair.
"This is for you," Raf replied. Raf grabbed a glass of lemonade and handed it to her.
"Thanks, but you didn't have to do this."
"I wanted to say thanks," Anna said softly. Amy sat up.
"For what Anna?" Anna looked down and pulled away when Amy took her hand. "Anna?" Amy was beyond worried at this point.
"You took it all. For years. Not once did you let him." Anna drifted off.
"Anna I.."
"For once please don't. I need to tell you what has been on my mind." Anna said softly. Amy's face saddened but nodded. Anna pulled out a piece of paper and unfolded it.
"You never cried but I saw the tears in the rain. You stopped yelling but I heard it in the wind. You stopped asking for help because the trust you had was lost in the hurricane that consumed you. You were never the same after that night. The last time that mom took the hits. I can see it in your eyes, I can see you want her back as do I but no matter how hard we wish and pray she will forever be an angel." Pausing to breath and blink the tears back Anna continued.
"What is a Guardian? That is what you are. Never did you let him hurt me never did you let me see the times he struck you and brought you to your knees. The times the gang did what was wrong. The time they didn't care you never stopped fighting. Fighting for your life while I was hiding out." Tears spilled from Anna's eyes as she continued. "You fought for something you shouldn't have. You raised me on your own while working a part-time job while keeping your grades up and keeping me protected. You did it all and took it all from that man who never once cared for us."
Amy was sitting in shock. She had no idea Anna hid all this from her.
"What is a hero? My sister. She is a hero. She protected me through it all. Never let me fall." Anna finished. Amy let a single tear fall. Anna hugged her tightly.
"I have one more thing for you," Anna said whipping her tears away. She pulled back took Amy's hands and started singing softly.

The day was spent by playing in the sand playing in the water drinking lemonade and relaxing. Bee made sure to send a scan back to Ratchet every couple hours.
When the sun started setting they were all sitting together with Bee watching it go down. Everything had been picked up and packed away in a basket so they just had to grab the basket before they left.
"Thanks, guys," Amy said.
"You're welcome," Raf said. Anna just snuggled closer to her sister. Bee rested a servo over the three. When the sun finally set Bee said it was time to go. The ground bridge opened a moment later and they all walked through Amy's small smile vanished with years of practice she will have to break the habit of hiding her emotions. In time.
"Hello children, Bumblebee. How was your day?" Optimus asked.
"Great!" Raf replied.
"Awesome!" Anna said running up to him. Amy frowned.
"I am going to talk with Ratchet." She said quietly and walked off to the med bay.
"She's getting better right dad?" Anna asked.
"Yes, dear one. Slowly but surely she is healing." Optimus replied. "Now I think it is past both of your bedtimes." He told Raf and Anna.
"Alright, Hey Jazz Can you give me a ride home Bee was wanting to talk to Amy," Raf spoke up.
"Sure thing lil man." Jazz said transformed and took Raf home. Optimus took Anna to her room to tuck her in.
Amy had walked into med bay and saw Ratchet working on his computer. She still felt bad making him be the one to tell everyone what happened to her but she couldn't. She did trust him a little more than the others because of it though.
"Ratchet?" Her quiet voice called. He looked up.
"Amy. I am glad you came in." He said walking over to her. He leaned down and picked her up in his servos. "How are you feeling?" He asked scanning her.
"Vulnerable." She replied.
"That is okay. We are here to protect you." He replied. She nodded.
"Alright be easy on your wrist but it has healed nicely. your ribs are getting there. Your knee. Try to not strain it." He said softly. He gently nuzzled her before setting her down.
"Thank Ratchet," Amy told him before headed out. She headed to her room feeling tired. When she got into Optimus's quarters he was laying down on his berth. But when she entered her room his holo-form was sitting next to Anna reading her a storybook. Amy's heart felt like it had been ripped out of her chest Anna was laughing.
"Hey, Amy. Dad is reading me a great story. Are you okay?" Anna looked concerned. Amy pulled her clenched fist off the door nob.
"Yeah, Just thinking," Amy replied grabbed some pj's and headed into the bathroom. She took a shower before getting changed. She took her time. While she was getting ready she kept thinking.
"Why is this bothering me? Why does it matter? She trusts him. She calls him dad. Why does that kill me so much?"
When Amy came out of the bathroom it was slightly dark the only light was the light coming from the kitchen. So she headed that way. Optimus was sitting down with two mugs on the table.
"Amy, will you join me?" Optimus asked softly. Biting her lip she sat down.
"Does it bother you when I am with Anna?" He looked her in the eyes. Amy looked away. how could he tell? She was her little girl...
"I don't know." She said slowly.
"You are still nervous and uncomfortable." He stated.
"How obvious is it?" She asked looking up at him pushing her hair aside. He smiled softly.
"Pretty obvious. Would you like help with your hair?" He offered. She raised an eyebrow.
"You know how to do hair?"
"I looked it up. And had some help." He replied.
"I guess if you want to." She replied looking down. He nodded and went to grab a brush and hair tie from the bathroom.
"Ready?" He asked softly. She tensed slightly but nodded feeling him move behind her. He ran the brush gently through her hair being gentle when getting all the knots out He brushed it till it was knot free. Very gently his fingers ran through her hair and he put it in two sections, parting it down the middle. Then he braided both sections so she ended with braided pigtails. He kneeled in front of her while she ran a hand over the braids.
"Th-thanks." She said feeling very uneasy.
"You are welcome. When you are willing I would like to try to help you get better with a human touch. I want to earn your trust." He spoke softly his eyes held truth and kindness in them.
"Okay." She replied.
"Alright. Goodnight sweet spark." He said softly stood and left leaving Amy sitting there till she got up and went to bed.
