Chapter 24: Sweets Night

Atsushi and I had decided to dress up like last year. I will be a witch and he shall be a bunny, a big bunny to be exact. Sweets Paradise is offering Halloween themed dinner set just for the day and we had reserved a table to avoid disappointment.

When we had arrived, we were escorted to our table. There were quite a few people here who dressed up as characters so I didn't feel awkward. Murasakibara wore a bunny suit, his face revealed. He didn't care much about what people would think because all he cares is just food, and more sweets.

Dinner set was served. A pumpkin design was drawn on top of the omelet rice with ketchup. The fruits cup was carved from apple with a scary face. Our drinks were named 'bloody water' and was served with a cup and a syringe filled with grenadine. There was a small piece of chocolate served on top of a deformed black cake. The whole set looked very unusual from their normal dinner set.

Murasakibara ordered a special menu: Trick or treat. A waiter came with two small baskets with their lid on. He explained to us that only one of the basket will have more sweets than the other. Atsushi was staring at the 2 baskets, not knowing which one to choose.

"What do you think?" Atsushi asked me.

"Hmm… I would picked the right one."

"Why?"

"Just a hunch."

Atsushi opened the lid of the right basket and the basket was almost filled. He smiled and took the basket gladly.

"You're my lucky charm. Here, have one."

Murasakibara gave me a small kiss on the lips. I didn't expect it coming. I flushed hard when I notice few people saw what we did. I hid my face by looking down on the floor. Air headed Atsushi seemed confused.

"What's wrong?" He unwrapped a chocolate bar as he spoke.

"People are watching, you know!" I said on a small tone.

"They're jealous."

I looked up to what Atsushi just said and he passed me a chocolate bar. "Really?"

"Does it matter? Oh look, I got a strawberry flavoured one."

I guess he was right. Why should I care about what others may think about us? Sure, we are abnormally tall as a couple but we are high schoolers too. I erased my negative thoughts and just watched how Atsushi was just enjoying his chocolates. I ordered a chocolate mousse cake in the meantime.

"Eh~ Can I eat some of your's?"

Murasakibara looked at my cake. His mouth was smeared with chocolate from all the sweets he had been eating.

"But Atsushi, you had too much chocolates. Let me wipe that for you first."

I took out a wet wipe and was about to wipe the chocolate leftovers when Atsushi deep kissed me, to the point where I could feel his tongue. As he released himself from the kiss, he smirked.

"Now both of us had chocolate smeared lips. It's sweet, isn't?"

I was speechless. Nevermind that I can feel my cheeks, this time, I felt happy. My eyes tear up a bit and Atsushi was quick to notice.

"Hm? Why are you crying? Do you need another kiss?"

"Bakatsushi!" I giggled as he gave another smirk. I wiped my tears away and eat my chocolate mousse cake.

Author's Note: The next major update will be in December as I am currently on the last leg of my semester so real life is hectic (not to mention I have to re-do my honours thesis from scratch again!
