"And that was what happened last night," Kanashi said irritably as he finished explaining the assassin's attack that was called on him while he was experiencing sleep paralysis. "He had weird, googly grey eyes. They were pretty weirdly bright and… aw whatever, you get the idea. I couldn't really get a good look at his face and all, but yeah."

"Googly grey eyes? I'm offended Kanashi," Minato said amicably. "But anyways. We've met so far Lightning, Illusion, Red, Raz and Takaya's down. Who's left?"

"Shouldn't it be Night Lies and Mage?" Yashiro added helpfully to the conversation.

"It looks like it'd be either of those two," Akihiko nodded. "I wonder which though."

"Uh… he used Hamaon on me," Kanashi frowned. "Hurt my eyes and it hurt," he sighed.

"It might be Mage then. It doesn't exactly sound like it could be Night Lies with that name of his, although it's still a possibility," Minato said, biting his lip. "Fuuka, would you be okay checking the site to confirm? You can just lurk, can't you?" he asked. "You don't have to, but it's good to be safe."

"It's okay Minato-kun," Fuuka smiled. "I'll see what I can find."

"Coolio then. But be careful," Minato nodded.

"I will," Fuuka replied.

The next day, Kanashi was once again afflicted with sleep paralysis. And once again he was frustrated. But something even worse was on his mind and everywhere he walked that day, there was a stifling disturbance in the air.

Kanashi's eyes were locked in a soul piercing glare. His hair was in a mess, as was his uniform and his teeth were clenched, bared like he was about to bite someone's head off. Literally and metaphorically. "The fuck are you looking at!?" he snapped at a student that was staring at him. "Get lost before I take that sumbitch and stick it where the sun doesn't shine!"

Said student quickly fled the scene in a fright as Kanashi pointed as his camera. Yashiro had watched the ending of the commotion that Kanashi was creating in his wake after he heard his shouting, and he approached him. "What's up? You look a lot worse than usual," he asked.

"No shit Sherlock," Kanashi growled irritably.

Yashiro merely shrugged and continued. He was used to scathing remarks like that from Kanashi. He was like that. "Anything you wanna talk about?" he asked.

"Yeah! My fist on someone's lips, along with my boot up his ass!" Kanashi exclaimed, throwing his bag to the ground.

Yashiro bit his lip and grabbed Kanashi's shoulders tightly. "Look dude, you need to calm down," he said.

"Calm down!?" Kanashi's eyes widened. "I literally wanna kill something, you expecting me to calm down by rubbing your cool calmness off on me or some shit!?"

Yashiro sighed as he thought. Maybe he could at least find out what was wrong. "Why do you want to kill someone?"

"None of your business," Kanashi scoffed.

"It will become everyone's business if you get around to killing someone, you know?" Yashiro replied. "Now tell me. I find it hard to believe that anyone could've messed you up this badly."

"I'm not killing your dog Yashiro, so yeah! It's none of your business!" Kanashi said before storming away from Yashiro.

However, Yashiro wasn't just going to give up there. He stepped forward and ran in front of Kanashi, blocking his way. "Dude, I just want to know. What's happening?" he asked.

"Move Yashiro," Kanashi hissed, venom lacing his voice.

"Tell me Kanashi," Yashiro narrowed his eyes.

"I'm not going to warn you again. Get out of the way before I do something that you'll regret," Kanashi said with a low voice.

"Don't you get what I'm trying to do here?" Yashiro retaliated.

Kanashi glowered at the capped boxer and stepped forward, holding his pistol to Yashiro's chest at an angle where no-one could see it. "What did I say to you? Fucking move already!" he snarled.

Yashiro's eyes widened for a moment, but he breathed out. Calm down… "I'm trying to help you, idiot!"

Kanashi scowled at him. "You're pushing it…" he breathed out as he pushed the barrel of the gun harder into Yashiro's chest.

"Do it then. Are you really going to kill someone that's trying to help you?" Yashiro asked.

Kanashi grit his teeth and quickly pocketed his gun before running his hands through his hair. "Goddammit…" he muttered.

"It's not my fault Kanashi. Tell me what's going on. Or do you wanna go to the roof where it's quiet?" Yashiro suggested.

"The fuck are you looking at assclown!?" Kanashi snapped at another gawking student, making him scurry away.

"It's not his fault either," Yashiro sighed. "Look dude, your clothes are a mess. Your hair is a mess. You are a mess right now," he said, placing a hand on Kanashi's shoulder. "What's going on Kanashi?"

"Break-up…" Kanashi mumbled, looking down at the ground with a frown.

Yashiro became silent for a few moments before saying, "What happened?"

"I just fucking told you! Break-up happened and then everything went to shit! Had a spat with my family, the damned sleep paralysis hit me showing me a zombie-turned JB singing 'Baby' right next to my fucking bed!" Kanashi gritted his teeth, clenching his fists so tightly that he might've drawn blood, but his cell phone got in the way. He smashed the remains of it onto the ground.

"Calm down…" Yashiro bit his lip.

Kanashi's eyebrows twitched madly as he stared Yashiro down. "Get lost!" he growled, shoving Yashiro out of the way.

"Look, the one you should be shoving is the one that got you into this mess, not me," Yashiro stepped back, eyeing Kanashi. "So calm the hell down and explain!" he said, before looking around at the students that were gathering as a result of their 'conversation.' "This isn't a show! Get bent!" with that, the crowd of students scampered away.

Kanashi chuckled darkly. "Who should I blame then?" he asked with a ravenous snarl.

Yashiro breathed out a little. At least he was starting to get some answers out of him. "I don't know. You tell me. What's the reason for all of this?" he asked.

Kanashi scoffed, "She went all emo about how I don't have much time for her. What the fuck am I supposed to do about it?"

Yashiro paused for a few moments. Should he ask in parts, or just go for it in one go? "I'd say 'make time for her' but I don't know the whole story. Looks like you two had a pretty heated argument…" he said, slowing down as he looked Kanashi's appearance up and down.

"Make time for her? I fucking waste my sleep and she has the nerve to tell me to make time for her?" Kanashi's eyebrow twitched.

"What did she say to make you so pissed?" Yashiro continued. Whatever happened next couldn't hurt after everything that had happened, right?

"Everything that she said pissed me off. It's always the same. They don't look at the other side of the equation. They don't look at the shit that I go through, and she just had to call me a self-centred prick," Kanashi snarled.

"So, it's just a guess but she complained about you not having time for her despite your tries to spend every moment that you could with her," Yashiro said, looking to Kanashi's face for a reaction.

"Yeah, pfft. Why'd I even put up with her?" Kanashi smirked.

"Maybe she was only with you… because of your money," Yashiro suggested.

"What are you trying to say, that she wasn't serious?" Kanashi scowled.

"Pretty much," Yashiro nodded. "You said you tried to make time for her even though you didn't have said time. Isn't it a bit odd that she was complaining about your lack of presence? The lack of presence that she's complaining about is your money."

"Who the fuck are you to say that you prick!?" Kanashi yelled.

Yashiro smirked inwardly. So everything became clear. "Come on! Don't you get the implications? She was only with you because of your money. Since you didn't have time to spend with her in expensive dates, you believed that she'd enjoy something more… how should I put it… basic. You truly believed she enjoyed your presence, so that's what you went with. She decided to show her true colours when she got fed up with your 'priceless love'. You were fooled from the start, Kanashi. Blinded by her, you couldn't see a thing."

"And who the hell is telling me that?" Kanashi chuckled. "Ever been in a relationship Yashiro?"

Yashiro flinched slightly. That was not cool… "I'm not the one you should be pointing at. The fool in his situation was you."

"Tch. You're just like everyone else, pointing fingers when you don't even know the whole deal," Kanashi glowered at Yashiro with a low growl at the back of his voice.

"Just like everyone else? Listen to reason for a second! You don't even know who I'm pointing fingers at yet! The one who caused all this was her, and you just so happened to be her target!" Yashiro retorted.

"I despite people that don't know the deal, and yet they have the balls to offer advice and humour the other," Kanashi growled, gritting his teeth.

Yashiro bit his lip. It was getting annoying. "I'm pretty sure I found what was going on already. You're just too ashamed to admit that you got played. Or better yet, you're just too proud to admit you got played!"

"I got played? Have you even met the girl? Do you know her name? You're just making up your own facts and shoving them down my throat so that you could have the satisfaction of telling me that I got played you arrogant bitch!" Kanashi narrowed his gaze. Yashiro was going to get played so damned hard…

"No dammit! I'm trying to help you get over it! My own facts? You wouldn't be so worked up over it if that was the case! Can you deny the possibility after everything that I said?" Yashiro asked.

"Get over it? Huh, by telling me that I got played," Kanashi shook his head. "I'm even more pissed now, thank you for the 'talk' you scumbag. Yes, because simply, you don't know her, you haven't met her, you haven't seen how we both interacted! You don't know shit Yashiro, yet you're making facts like a boss."

That was true, however Yashiro believed that he was onto something; something more than Kanashi himself. "Admit that you got tricked! Get over it! Leave this bitch behind!" Yashiro yelled.

Kanashi grit his teeth. "I despise you Yashiro. Everything that you stand for, will crumble," he muttered. "Fuck you. You don't know me, or her. Stop with the bullshit already," Kanashi growled.

"Oh yeah? Then why did she 'go all emo' on you in the first place. You're not even defending her, anymore, you're defending your own pride!" Yashiro said.

"I never defended her. She can burn," Kanashi retorted. "Yes, I'm defending myself, because you're making it sound like I'm some sort of fool who doesn't know about the world. Do you know better than me Yashiro? Do you know my ex better than me?"

"I couldn't care less about your ex! I'm saying that you should get over your damn pride, and let it go!" Yashiro exclaimed.

"You're talking like you know for a fact that she's a money obsessed whore!" Kanashi shouted before clutching his head. "Ugh, fuck you. I've got a headache now."

"I know for a fact that she's a money obsessed whore! You don't even know who you're defending, anymore! If she's not what I'm saying she is, then why would she leave you, if you did anything to be with her?" Yashiro asked.

"You don't know jack Yashiro. She was pissed at me not meeting her in weeks, you pulled that money bit right from your ass," Kanashi sneered as he stomped closer to Yashiro. "You think you know everything huh? You know what goes around better than everyone, right?"

Yashiro's clenched his teeth. How could this get so annoying? "Then why did you get pissed at her, instead of explaining your situation? No matter how you look at it, the only thing that keeps you from moving is your pride; you were either too proud to calm down and explain to her why you didn't see her in weeks, or because you're too proud to admit the possibility of you getting tricked by her. You just couldn't take her calling you a 'self-centred prick'. You countered her accusation, instead of justifying yourself. Those are the two only answers. Then I ask you, Kanashi: can you rule out those possibilities? Can you prove that I'm completely wrong? You can't, can you? You can't let yourself be proven wrong, right, Mr. Perfect?"

"I got pissed at her because she doesn't know what I'm going through. You of all people know what we, as members of SEES are going through, do you not? Can I explain to her that I'm fighting fucking Shadows along with you punks? Can I?" Kanashi growled. "Yes, I can, because she would have dumped me long ago, when I didn't have the cash. Like I said, you're looking at this from the worst possible way just to piss me off." Kanashi shook his head and clicked his tongue. "Seriously Yashiro, you call me Mr. Perfect, while you're just a know-it-all, aren't you?"

Yashiro's eyes widened but then he smirked inwardly. Right… he was only in this for himself. He almost forgot, but he wasn't going to lose it regardless. "Then you have some anger issues, Kanashi. If what you're saying is true, then why did you fight back, if you knew that she didn't know better?"

"Wouldn't you have done the same Yashiro? Oh wait, you don't a thing about relationship and love. You sorely pissed me off today," Kanashi declared.

"No, I wouldn't have done the sa- …what did you say? Oh, now you turn against me? All I was trying to tell you, was that if you get over your pride, everything will go away," Yashiro glared.

"My pride? What about yours? You cling onto your words and shove it down other's throat, without knowing the whole deal!" Kanashi reiterated. "You're pathetic."

"I'm not shoving anything down your throat. It's just that you weren't able to disprove any of the possibilities that I've said, and they all involve you, being full of yourself," Yashiro said.

"You've been going on and on about how she was with me for the money, when you clearly have no idea how we both interacted, when I had the cash and when I didn't," Kanashi scoffed. "You lost this Yashiro and now, do you still wanna go on? Who in hell do you think you are? Telling me shit about my own ex?"

"I'm not standing by this point. The point that I'm trying to prove, is that if you just weren't so proud, you would've forgotten everything and moved on, no matter how you look at it," Yashiro explained. "You see, I raised three possibilities, and they all pointed towards this problem. Perhaps you're the one losing this, and you just haven't realised it yet."

"If I wasn't proud, I would have forgotten the break up? Do you have any idea how crushing a break up is? You feel broken inside, but of course, what the hell do you know about it? You don't have an ounce of experience in relationship but you're lecturing me about it?" Kanashi laughed as he began to walk away. "Pitiful."

"Pitiful?" Yashiro grabbed Kanashi's shoulder and turned him around roughly. Arrogance was taking Kanashi too far… "You're disregarding everything that was discussed until now and shifting the blame to my so called 'lack of experience'. Stop being fucking proud! Move the fuck on!"

"Because you don't jack. You never do, yet you act like you do. It's her fault for not understanding my problem. And it's your fault for being someone who doesn't know jack about love. Ever been in a relationship?" Kanashi snapped and punched Yashiro's face, smirking all the while.

"Tch…" Yashiro chuckled lowly as his face was smacked away from view, a raging grin crawling onto his face as he wiped his blood off. "My fault? Get your head out of your ass. It's your own fault that you can't move on, no matter how you look at it. And now, you're acting all high and mighty, desperate for an escape. I am only trying to help, but you went ahead and punched me. Even if it's her fault for not understanding what you're going through, she didn't, and couldn't know better. Why did you go and snap at her, anyways? Because you couldn't stand being called a self-centred prick."

"Would you have forgotten? Wouldn't you snap at her?" Kanashi asked.

"Yes, I would have forgotten! And I wouldn't snap at her, either!" Yashiro said.

Kanashi smirked at that. "Says the guy who isn't loved by anyone."

"Tch…" Yashiro gritted his teeth and growled, " this… is irrelevant!"

"It is relevant. You don't know how to act because you don't know what being in love is. Poor guy," Kanashi said sadly, although he was sneering all the while. He started his way from the capped boxer laughing inwardly. That was his weak point. That was what would undo him.

"Grrr…" Yashiro growled, trying to calm down. He couldn't get aggravated. He had to stop him! "Fine! Go on! Have it your way! Shift the blame unto others! One day, you'll realize that you're wrong!" he yelled.

"One day Yashiro, everything will crumble for you. Your nightmare is here," Kanashi mumbled with a smile.

Yashiro watched on as Kanashi left the scene, and he punched the wall once he was out of sight. "Fuck!" he cussed. Then he sighed heavily. "He'll realize that I was trying to help him, eventually… I can't just cut contact with him, like that." Deep breath. "This'll be just a bad memory before it gets worse…"

"Aren't ya done yet 'lusion?" Night Lies said gruffly. "I swear, you take way too long to kill people, you know that?"

"Shut it Lies. If you're so confident, why don't you kill her then?" Illusion spat. "Oh wait, you can't. Because you got yourself pummelled about a week ago. How'd you even get hurt that bad?"

"Tch. Because I attract punks that wanna beat me down, okay? And you know that we can't exactly summon! Our Personae are near fucking useless!" Night Lies growled.

"I know, I know," Illusion sighed, narrowing her eyes as she kicked the corpse to the side. "It is too bad though. That girl was actually kinda pretty," she rolled her eyes.

"Don't tell me you're jealous?" Night Lies laughed. "Piti-fucking-ful."

"Who said I was jealous of her, you idiot?" Illusion sighed. "Anyways, let's get out of here. Raz's target should be coming by soon and it's time to start that fight. Maybe we can take out a few targets at a time if Kanashi-kun becomes that angry. Which he probably will, given what you've seen of him."

"He's a dick," Lies supplied.

"Yes, yes," Illusion shook her head. "In any case. Is it just me or your eyes look kinda purple?"

"Ugh. My bro told me that I should be like that Lelouch prick from Code Geass for a day, and then he'd… wait what? Shit, I misheard what he said!" Lies roared vehemently. "He ain't getting me shit!"

"Oh boo-hoo Lies. Also what, Lelouch who?" Illusion asked.

"He has purple eyes," Lies explained. "Stupid eye colour. Next he's gonna tell me to be like that Edward kid."

"What?" Illusion was quickly getting confused.

"He's a brat with gold eyes," Lies sighed. "Which is the other colour I'm having when I use Pulinpa."

"Why does your Persona even have Pulinpa?" Illusion folded her arms as they started slowly, but surely walking away from the crime scene.

"How should I fucking know?" Lies rolled his eyes as they jumped onto a low-lying rooftop.

(Nyx) Question 1: Technodude458

Nyx: Oh. Oh, you want me to admit that I'm wrong? So maybe I was wrong, but what's the point? Is it just so that you can feel better about yourself after pestering me for this long? Fine! Have your goddamned trophy for all I care! But know that no-one else will ever care.

(Minato) Conversation 2: Yoshikunitsu

Minato: It's one of the best abilities ever. Calms ya down. Of course it does depend on what you're listening to.
