"So, did you find out anything interesting Fuuka?" Minato asked as Fuuka closed her laptop.
"Um, I actually did," she nodded. "There's a new assassin…"
"A new assassin?" Minato said with widened eyes. "Who is he?"
"His name is Stopping Night," Fuuka explained. "Apparently he only joined very recently," she said.
"Tch, this isn't good…" Minato shook his head.
"What was that about a new assassin?" Kanashi said, walking in with a lax smirk. It was a lot different to the expressions of pure rage that he had been having in the morning, leading Minato and Fuuka to wonder why he seemed to be so happy.
"Yeah, there's another assassin and he's called Stopping Night," Minato said succinctly. "Looks like we'll have to be more careful from now on."
"Alrighty then! It might be that bastard that attacked me yesterday!" Kanashi grinned. "I can't wait to beat him to a pulp if he ever shows his sorry face around here again!"
"I could imagine…" Minato nodded before turning his gaze to Fuuka. "Thanks a lot Fuuka."
"It's nothing Minato-kun," Fuuka smiled before going up to her room.
Minato looked over to Kanashi who still seemed to be wearing that same smirk from before. It was a little unsettling actually. It was almost as if he was going to tear something or someone to pieces and have fun doing so. "Uh Kanashi, you look kinda chipper… why's that?"
"Oh, nothing much, don't you worry," Kanashi chuckled.
Minato bit his lip and nodded. "Alright… I'll see ya later then…" he said, walking towards the doors. As Minato passed through the exit he regarded Yashiro with a smile. "Hey Yashiro."
Yashiro looked at Minato and nodded. "Have fun," he said tersely before going back into the dorm.
"I wonder what's up with him…" Minato wondered before going to Naganaki shrine.
…
"Hello," Kanashi grinned at Yashiro as he stood in the entrance. Yashiro glared at Kanashi. Acting as if nothing ever happened. "I heard from Minato that there's actually another assassin that we have to deal with. Ain't that exciting? I'd like to go and beat him up myself."
"I'm sure you would," Yashiro nodded.
"Indeed. So, how're you going?" Kanashi asked with a painfully sweet smile. "Sorry for snapping at ya today."
Yashiro's eyes widened. What? "Uh right…" What was he doing?
"Wish I snapped at you more!" Kanashi laughed darkly, walking slowly over to where Yashiro was standing.
"Oh really?" Yashiro spat, quickly realising that it was his wit at work.
"Yeah. Calling ya a prick doesn't even cut it!" Kanashi grinned. "Shoulda called ya a no good cu-"
"Shut up Kanashi…" Yashiro growled.
"Yashiro, calm down, aren't you supposed to be mister cool 'n' calm?" Kanashi mocked, flipping Yashiro off with a sickeningly happy-go-lucky grin.
"Tch, well, it's kinda hard with you around, you know?" Yashiro flinched ever so slightly.
Kanashi laughed. "Do I piss you off?" he asked coyly.
"Took you long enough to figure that out," Yashiro rolled his eyes.
"Well then, fuck off! Kanashi isn't gonna change!" Kanashi shook his head, shrugging his shoulders.
"I figured out as much," Yashiro shook his head with a mirthful smile. "After all, you're an asshole, and will always be."
"Maiko would like to disagree," Kanashi laughed. At this point he was just playing with Yashiro.
"Didn't you say yourself that you're never going to change?" Yashiro scoffed.
"Yes, Maiko would be heartbroken if I would change," Kanashi nodded sagely.
Yashiro grinned and shook his head once more. "This just proves how much of a two faced bastard you are."
"Or, I simply just don't like you. While, I like Maiko," Kanashi exclaimed.
"Then why don't you just take your leave, and go to your precious Maiko?" Yashiro narrowed his gaze.
Kanashi's eyes widened. "Does anyone like you, Yashiro?"
"Tch, this is no concern of yours!" Yashiro growled.
Kanashi simply grinned at Yashiro's reaction. "Awww, nobody likes you?" he mocked.
"Sh-shut up! I'm sick and tired of dealing with you!" Yashiro stammered.
Kanashi laughed, "I'll take that as a no. Aw, sucks to be you!"
Yashiro backed off clutching his left arm. "It'll suck to be you, if you don't stop with all that shit!" he snapped.
"Don't act so tough sissy, we've fought a lot of times, have you been able to do anything wicked to me?" Kanashi shrugged before smirking. "And what's wrong with that arm? Did you drop your friend off a cliff with that?"
"But… you haven't been able to beat me, either!" Yashiro ignored Kanashi's last question, baring his teeth and growling all the while.
"I know, but I ain't sprouting violence threats like you are!" Kanashi countered. "Want me to pity you, Yashiro?"
"Shut up! Stop acting all high and mighty! I wonder why those 'friends' of yours didn't kill you, back in the day! You disgust me!" Yashiro snapped.
"I dunno, maybe they weren't whiny emo bitches trying to get into my business, like you are?" Kanashi suggested. "I'll pity you though!" he declared, patting Yashiro's head with a decidedly devious smirk. "Aww, you poor thing!"
Yashiro smacked Kanashi's hand away. "Do not pity me!" he said, his voice slowly becoming more and more aggravated by every spoken syllable.
Kanashi laughed. "Gonna cry Yashiro? Big fella is gonna cry? Don't worry, I'm sure nobody cares since nobody likes you!"
"Wipe that smirk off your face!" Yashiro snarled, shoving Kanashi away from him.
Kanashi just came back and shoved Yashiro in turn. "How does it feel to be like you? The guy could disappear and nobody would give a single shit," he said, that smirk still plastered on his face.
"Tch…" Yashiro bit his lip, looking away from Kanashi.
"Lost the war, eh Yashiro? That's what you get for telling me what to do and what not to," Kanashi continued.
"…the war? I saved your life! I… you… get out of my sight!" Yashiro yelled.
"Are you expecting an apology?" Kanashi laughed coldly. "Wouldn't it be fair that you got caught up in the attack and died? Nobody would even notice your disappearance. You fail Yashiro. You fail at life. You fail at everything. I pity you."
"Shut up!" Yashiro roared, throwing a punch at Kanashi.
Kanashi just smirked, dodging out of the way easily. "Quick to flare up, aren't you?"
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! If you hate me so much… why don't you just leave me to die alone?!" Yashiro demanded.
" Oh, you'll be pretty alone when you die, just like you are right now. Nobody would come to your funeral even. Pity," Kanashi shrugged as he swayed out of the way.
"Just lie down and die, already!" Yashiro shouted, trying to hit Kanashi with a low sweep, only easily dodged when Kanashi backed away.
"Did the cool 'n' calm act die? Huh? You bastard, you make my skin crawl!" Kanashi scoffed.
"I regret taking the shot for you, that day… you…" Yashiro breathed out, dropping to a knee. "You…"
"Are you feeling pathetic? Oh wait, you always have been," Kanashi mocked.
Yashiro caught his breath and wiped his tears. He stood and put on his bladefists, aiming a haymaker at Kanashi.
"This rage has somehow made you slower," Kanashi noted as he stepped away with his ever present smirk. "God, you're so pathetic."
"Grrr…" Yashiro glared, throwing a hook and an uppercut in succession.
Again, Kanashi dodged. "Yashiro crying, this will go right to the student forum!" he laughed as he took out another cell phone and quickly took a picture of Yashiro. "I've told you time and time again, to not to get in my business! Did you listen!?"
Yashiro reached and snatched said cell phone away before crushing it in his hand. "…If I didn't, you would be dead, right now…" he said, wiping away his tears once more.
"That cellphone costs more than you do," Kanashi shook his head. "I didn't hate you then. I hated you after you told me how to treat. Who the fuck are you!? You don't have a single living soul that actually gives a shit about you, and you're telling me how to live my life!?"
"And you don't give a shit about those who care about you! If I didn't tell you how to live your life, you wouldn't even have a life, right now! …I saved you, because I thought I could have a friend, again…" Yashiro breathed out, holding his hand with a blue flare enveloping it. "But that doesn't seem to be the case…"
"Who the fuck are you to say that to me!? I had a life before I even met you!" Kanashi retaliated. "Friends? It pisses you off that I even stand next to you, and now you're telling me that you wanted to be my friend!? With all the hate that you harbour for me, you still have to say, 'Kanashi, you shouldn't do this.' Fuck you, you double faced bastard!" he shook his head. "Can you summon a persona with that rage? Don't even try it!"
Yashiro breathed heavily as his tears stopped, the blue flare intensified and his hand tensed to crush the coming Tarot card. "You don't know anything, Kanashi…"
"I always knew that you were a pathetic little kid. Get out of my sight," Kanashi commanded as he turned heel to leave.
Yashiro crushed the Tarot card, and when Vayu was summoned, blades of wind came towards Kanashi. But of course, Kanashi dodged. "I told you, this rage is slowing you down. Don't expect to beat me at your current condition. I've seen you for what you really are, a little boy who has nobody. Go cry yourself to sleep. No, better yet. Meet me at the Moonlight Bridge, tonight. We'll settle this once and for all. And who knows? Maybe I'll get to end your miserable life!" he said, walking out of the door.
Yashiro fell silent and to his knees, and he punched the floor as hard as he could, not even caring about his broken weapon.
…
Minato and Nyx walked hand in hand back towards the dorm from Chagall Cafe. All had been peaceful, up until a few minutes ago. Nyx snapped to attention as she felt an especially large flare of SP, and she knew whose it was. "Minato… Yashiro and Kanashi…"
"What about them?" Minato asked, but only a few moments after that, he too felt the surge of spiritual energy, filled with rage. He flinched feeling that energy. "There's something wrong…"
…
"You're really evil, you know that?" Raz sighed as he stretched the sleep out of his system and smacked Night's back.
"I know," he mumbled before shaking his head, looking down at his clenched fist. "They fell right in, didn't they?" Night laughed.
"Yes, they did," Raz agreed.
"That's good," Night said. "This is going better than I could've hoped to be honest."
"Eh, but your plans seemed to have worked so far man," Raz shrugged as he walked off.
Once Raz left, Night pulled off his hood and ran his hands through his hair furiously.
AN: And through the rage we ride…
Plz box me yo thoughts and imma see ya guys later.
Law77: Nope, I'm doing it on purpose. XD
Yoshikunitsu: It depends ne? The OCs may be friendly to Minato, but they're surprisingly closed off. You might've seen, but regardless of whether they're nice to anyone or not, they keep their problems to themselves as much as possible. So who knows what Minato could actually do?
Yeah… and yes… I kinda got the idea from anime streaming sites tbh, but I don't watch anime anymore.
Yup yup! Suries!
Raidou: I know right!? YES!
Nights: THE HATE BURNS! Hate, we do it! Yes sir!
Q/A SECTION
(Minato and Nyx) Question 1: Yoshikunitsu
Minato: I don't have much of an idea…
Nyx: …
Minato: ?
Nyx: I don't know what's going to happen either to be honest.
(Erebus) Question 2: Yoshikunitsu
Erebus: Regret? I suppose I do. But it comes with nihilism, and it's mixed with anger, and sadness. It just feels like I do need to end everything regardless, although getting back to Nyx is something nice. You know, if ever. The way things are going now I highly doubt that Minato could keep Nyx safe for long.
(Nyx) Question 3: Technodude458
Nyx: I don't watch RWBY. Also, you were saying? *rides off on a flying unicorn*
