Hey beauties! I am so sorry for this being so late. I hate not being able to update. But now that my other story has a good start updates might come a little faster. And, I think this chapter makes up for it. :)
I stared at the script, not believing the words written.
I flipped the page back and forth, still not believing the words on the paper.
I finally had gotten over the butterflies that I had gotten in Australia from my blonde best friend. And now the writers decided to write this?
There was a knock on my dressing room door so I lept up to open it, gripping the script in my hand.
I opened the door and saw the exact person on my mind.
"Did you-" he started.
"Yes."
"Can you-"
"No I can't." He looked at me strangely.
"How do you-" he said pointing before I cut him off.
"Know exactly what your going to say? Your the most predictable person to ever walk the planet." I said.
"You were going to ask if I read the script, then you were going to say 'Can you believe they actually put it in the script'." I said using a low voice mocking him.
He stared at me. "Never do that again." He said in a scared voice.
I rolled my eyes leaning against the doorframe. He backed up against the opposite wall leaning against it to face me.
"So?" He said. I shrugged my shoulders.
"So what?" I said examining one of the blonde ends of my hair.
"The script, Laur. What do you think of the script?" He says beating the script against his leg.
I tensed, but he didn't notice. "I'm not worried about it or anything." I said lying through my teeth.
He cocked his head pushing off the wall taking a step closer.
"Really now?" He said stopping in the middle of the hallway.
I shrugged. "Yeah I guess. I mean its not like it will affect our friendship or anything, right?"
He shrugged. "I don't know, I am Ross Lynch. For all I know they could make a scene as romantic as the Notebook and you could fall in love with me."
I laughed throwing my head back. "I don't know, I'm not really into blondes." I said sighing twirling my hair.
He put his hand to his chest feigning offense. "I'm insulted beyound recognition at the moment." He said. I rolled my eyes.
He pulled me into the hallway. "Picture this." He says.
I look at him.
"Ally's in the practice room, scribbling in her forbidden book. When Austin comes in the door."
I cough and get into character. I look up at Ross, pretending he's opening the door.
"Hey Austin." I say playing along to his charade.
"Trish told me you need a dance lesson." He said cracking his knuckles.
I shook my head. "No, I told her that I was going to skip the dance altogether." I said making crazy gestures with my hands.
"Ally, you can't skip the dance just because you can't dance." He said dejectedly.
I quirked an eyebrow, being a classic Ally. "Uh, Austin? Hate to break it to you, but kinda the whole purpose of a dance, is to dance. It's right there in the name." I said in a duh tone of voice.
He rolled his eyes just like Austin would do. "Whatever, Your still gonna go, because I'm gonna give you dance lessons." He says pointing at himself.
I shake my head. "No way. The last time I danced with you, you dropped me." I said crossing my arms.
He dropped his arms to his sides. "Are you ever going to let that go? Trish's mom blew a horn in my ear!" He said gesturing to his left ear.
I laughed, trying to stay in character. "Come on." He said grabbing my hands, positioning them in the pose.
I was startled but played along. "If you drop me..."
"I'm not going to drop you." He said in his agitated Austin character.
He stepped back as I stepped forward. Following suit, letting him lead.
He twirled us around in a waltz. Still repeating the step as we turned.
He twirled me out. "Time for the dip." He said. I smiled nervously. As he brought me in and dipped me down.
He held me there his face close to mine. "Hi." He whispered.
"Hi." I said.
"And then they make us lean in." He says touching my nose with his, as I felt his hot breath on my face.
"But they stop us making me drop you, by Trish and Dez walking through the door." He says, his hands still holding me in place. His oral script not affecting his movements.
His face stays where it is, his breath making my face hot.
"Wow." He says. "Maybe this won't be as easy as I thought." He whispered biting his lip.
"What won't be easy?" I asked in a whispered tone.
"Kissing you senseless right about now." He said before pushing his lips against mine.
Was that satysfying? I actually had a lot of fun writing this chapter to be honest. Well tell me what you think, and until next time...
Stay lovely;)
