Hey lovely people of fanfiction! Ok, I'm sorry I didn't update earlier. I was sick, still am, and I'm in bed right now typing this. I seriously hope it's ok. I've been planning yheir date for awhile, I just didn't know I'd be sick doing it. So here it is...

Disclaimer: Ross and Laura, are to amazing to be owned by me if you haven't noticed.

I fluffed my hair for the hundreth time that night looking in the miror.

I turned to my best friend sitting on my bed and twirled for a final verdict.

She smiled and held up her thumbs. "Laura, you look perfect. That boy is going to have to hold back his drool all night." She said now in front of me straitening the skirt of my sky blue dress.

I laughed. "See, this?" I said twirling around another time, "and that comment is why I love you." I said.

The latina chuckled and pulled back holding my hands looking at me. "To be honest, I don't know what you did before you met me. You must have been a hot dressed mess." She said shaking her head.

"Ha ha, you think your funny don't you?" I said fixing the red and white lettermans that fitted my shoulders.

"Hey, I'll have you know half the people I know think I have an amazing sense of humor." She said crossing her arms, her nose in the air.

I looked at her. "What about the other half?" I said fluffing my hair and fixing the white bow once again.

"Their indecisive to my hilarity." She said sarcastically.

I laughed looking in the miror. She had dressed me up exactly like a tumblr girl it's scary. She dressed me up in a blue dress with pinpoint white dots covering it, the fringe sticking out the bottom.

The top lined my breasts, wrapping around my torso, the straps expanding at the tops of my shoulders.

The lettermans jacket I had on encased a big L on it in white lined with red. And the single braid covered the front of my head, the back covered in my ómbred curls.

Not to metion a white bow to tie it all off.

"Your fashion sense made me look like I belong in a tumblr calendar." I said the purse on my shoulder and my hand on the door knob.

She shrugged following after me. "You look beautiful, as always. Now stop complaining." She said pushing me out the door towards the stairs.

I stumbled on my red All Stars steadying myself on the railing. I looked down.

I saw the blond in the middle of my foyer, speaking to my mom and dad.

I stepped down the first step after composing myself, making it all the way down the stairwell without a single mis-step.

He looked at me when I landed with a flourish on my own, looking up at him. He smiled.

"You got here just in time." He mumbled through a plastered smile on his face. I looked at him.

"Your going to do that now?" I whispered. He nodded before opening his mouth to speak.

"Damiano, sir." He said catching my fathers attention.

He gulped when the Italian man' eyes met his. "I'd like to ask you a question." He said confidently, though I could see the tense state in his shoulders.

I grabbed his hand and squeezed, watching him visibly relax. My father glanced at our intertwined hands before looking back up.

"What is it son?" He said, the Italian accent lacing through his speech.

"I'd like to ask your permission," he said glancing at me, "to let your daughter be my girlfriend." He said confident with his words.

The space was silent, everyone holding their breath.

"Really?" Damiano said stepping up.

Ross nodded. "Absolutely." He said not flinching one bit.

I stared at my Italian father while he stared at the blond.

He sighed and laughed. "I see know problem with that." He said finally, the room visibly relaxing.

"As long as you don't break her heart, which I know you won't, I have no problem granting your wishes." He said clapping a hand on his shoulder.

"Now go have fun." He said pushing us toward the door.

I kissed him on the cheek before I grabbed Ross' arm and Raini followed behind us.

"Thanks dad." I said before stepping out into the moonlight.

-
"Where are we going?" I said curiously. The blond just smiled. "Hold on, we're almost there." He said deviously.

I leaned back against my seat. "You know I hate suprises." I said grumpily.

He laughed. "No you don't. You love surprises." He said matter of factly. I grunted.

"This relationship is not going to carry on if you plan on knowing more about me than I do." I said to him crossing my arms.

He shrugged. "Its worked so far hasn't it?" He said smugly turning the wheel.

He turned on to a street with huge lights blinking and shining in the distance.

As we got closer I heard yelling and screaming, and I could see a huge rotating circle.

"Are you taking me to the fair?" I said whipping around to look at him. He smiled as he turned into the parking lot.

"Indeed I am." He said as he put the car in park. He put his hands on his jeans and looked at me. "Ready?" He said.

I nodded. He pushed the car door open, running to my side before I could open it myself.

He pulled it open and made a huge gesture with his arm. I laughed and stepped out, my converse hitting the pavement.

We walked through the front gates, ticket stubs in hand.

The first ride we came across was the Tilt-a-Whirl. I squealed turning to him.

He had his nose scrunched up. I gasped. "Ross Lynch, do you not like the Tilt-a-Whirl?" I said a touch of faux incredulous touching my voice.

He looked down at me rolling his eyes. "I have nothing against the Tilt-a-Whirl. But it's so old!" He said.

I crossed my arms. "It's a classic amusement ride, I'll have you know. It has been a ride since we were little."

He jumped. "Exactly! I have gone on the Tilt-a-Whirl so many times with Rydel and my siblings that I probably know every tilt and whirl that ride is going to make." He said pointing to it.

I scoffed and pulled him towards the line anyway. "Why specifically your blond sister may I ask?" I said making him shrug.

"I was the only one who didn't mind if her hair went in my face. I might mind now though." He said glancing at my long curls.

I grabbed them on instinct twirling one around my finger. "You know you love my hair." I said flipping it dramatically.

He laughed. "Doesn't mean I love it being in my face." He said flipping one of my brown locks.

I smiled sickly sweet. "Your going to have to get used to it. Half the rides at this fair," I said gesturing around. "are destined for my beautiful hair to end up in your face."

He shook his head and put out his arm for the runner of the ride to check his ride bracelet.

I did the same, following him to a bucket in the back of the circle.

We sat down, him on the end and me in the middle. He pulled down the bar sealing us in.

The man who checked our bracelets was going around checking the bars. The blond turned to me.

"What ride next?" He said his hands resting on the bar.

I rolled my eyes. "One ride at a time Shor." I said laughing.

He laughed too as the ride started. We twist and twirled, getting thrown back agaist the cup of the bucket.

We were laughing as we exited the ride. "That was even better than I remember it!" He said as he walked beside me.

"You already know I'm going to say 'I told you so'." I said jokingly hitting him lightly with my shoulder.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, so I wrapped mine around his waist.

"I hate to break it to you but your really predictable." He said laughing as we got in line for the Scrambler.

"Open." He said holding the pink, cloud like substance.

"You are crossing into dangerous lovey dovey territory." I said switching the big teddy bear tied with a purple bow around its neck to my left hip.

He laughed. "Please?" He said the pink on the tips of his fingers. I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth.

He tickled the fluffy pink candy on my lips before landing it on my tounge. I licked the last of the cotton that stuck on his fingers. He laughed grabbing my waist with his free hand.

We started walking away from the cotton candy vendor. When I turned to look at him, he leaned down and kissed me. He smiled against my lips.

"You taste like cotton candy." He mumbled. I laughed pulling my head back.

"Well who would of thought." I said sarcastically. He stopped walking jerking me beside him. "Next ride." He said pointing up.

I looked up and scoffed. "Not happening." I said looking at the big pink tunnel.

He poked out his lip. "Why not?" He whined biting into the pink blob on a stick. I blinked at him.

"It's the Tunnel of Love." I said plainly watching for his reaction. He made wide gestures with the cloud in his hand.

"Exactly!" He said crossing his arms over his chest. I grabbed his arm pulling him forward.

"Ross, you know I love romantic lovey dovey stuff as much as the next person does, but our first date is not turning into a cliché movie scene." I said playfully he pouted.

"Let's go on the Music Express." I said. He huffed and through the remaining cotton candy in a nearby trash can.

"Fine. Then I'll take you home. It's almost 11:30." He said as we got in line for the spinning ride.

When we got to the front of the line and stepped on after they checked our bracelets, he led me up to a cart in the back. After they came around and checked everyone's seats, we heard the music start up.

The ride started slow before it started to grdually speed up. It rounded in fast circles one of my favorite songs blaring in the background.

I laughed as I felt my hair fly behind me, my body pressed against the side of Ross'.

The ride started to slow down and suddenly came to a halt. I stayed put, but the blond started to get up. I grabbed his arm.

"Have you never been on this ride?" I said a smile on my face. He shook his head and I laughed.

The ride started to go backwards and I saw the shocked look run around his face. It was soon replaced with a huge smile as it sped up and he wrapped his arm around me.

We went over the slopes of the ride laughing like maniacs. The ride ended way to soon as I felt myself start to slide away from the blond. He didn't let me slide away though, his arm holding me like an anchor.

We ended up in the parking lot walking to the car, the huge bear still snuggled in my arms.

The ride home was silent, but it wasn't akward at all. He walked me to my porch.

I looked up at him, keys fiddling in my hands.

"I had an awesome time." I said. He laughed.

"Your cute when your akward." He said wrapping his muscular arms around my waist.

"I'm going to decide that's a compliment." I said smugly.

"Good." He said before he leaned in to kiss me. I met him halfway across.

I smiled into the kiss, his teeth clicking mine. His lips were soft, and tasted like cotton candy. I held on for a few more seconds before pulling away.

"I'm never going yo get tired of kissing you." He whispered, fixing a piece of my hair.

"Likewise, goldielocks." I said laughing.

"Night." I said pushing open my door.

"Night." He said walking backwards down the steps.

I closed the door behind me and leaned back against it. Vanessa happened to be walking up the stairs right when I walked in.

She smirked. "I see you had fun." She said crossing her pajama covered ankles.

I snuggled the large bear in my arms before looking up at her.

"Definetly."
