"Amy," Leo said, "how are you doing tracing that call?" He, Meg, Suzuki, and Bando, were clustered around Amy and her laptop in the trailer's living area.
"What call?" Amy asked.
"The call-" Leo started.
"I know which call you're talking about, Leo," Amy said, "but I've been monitoring every signal in and out of the trailer, and there's no sign of a phone call. However Sei is doing this-"
The hatch to the cockpit opened. "I'm taking Django," Sei said as she crossed the living area. "The rest of you-"
"Like hell!" Leo said, getting in her way.
"Leo, please stand aside."
Leo stared into her eyes for a moment, then shuffled back.
Suszuki tried next. "This is police business, Sei. I could arrest you for withholding evidence."
"You're welcome to try," Sei said, "if you think you won't get laughed out of court."
Suzuki backed off.
Jo blocked Sei's path at the door to the hangar.
"Jo," Sei said, "please stand aside."
Jo shook her head.
"This isn't your business, Jo."
"If it involves, Kyohei, Sei, it's *our* business."
Sei smiled. "I'm glad to hear you say that; I'd been worried you would warm up to him. But this is my fight, not yours."
"You have to get past me, Sei. Think you can?"
Sei raised a hand and gestured thoughtfully as she spoke: "It's true you are the best combatant I have ever seen. All things being equal, you have the advantage over me. But you have already made one mistake, Jo."
"What's that, Sei?"
"You've let me see you fight." Sei's gesturing hand flicked towards Jo's face, fingers reaching for Jo's eyes. Jo flinched, but by the time she realized it was a feint, Sei's knee was plowing into Jo's stomach. Sei grabbed Jo's collar, hooked an arm, and spun, sending Jo crashing into Meg. Sei darted into the hangar and hit a control panel. Only after she had entered a code then she realized Detective Bando had followed her, making it in just before the hatch closed.
"Back to the trailer!" Sei barked.
"Or what?" Bando shot back. "This 'Eriko' used me and my squad to come after you. I have a stake in this, too."
"I was told to come alone."
"And you believed it? Seriously?"
Sei thought, then extended her hand. "Phone."
Bando handed her phone to Sei; Sei turned it off and put it on a shelf. "All right, Detective, I'll help you into Django…"

Jo was just able to stand up and breath normally when the trailer vibrated: Django was launching.
Leo looked up from the console at the door; Sei had put the trailer in lockdown. "Damn it, Sei!"
"Leo-" Meg started.
"I know, I know!" He went back to working on the door.
The door slip open, and they got out of the trailer just in time to hear Django's engines receding. They could see it peal away into the night.
Leo checked his phone. "Damn. She has him in full stealth mode. I can't track him."
Jo saw Don Laoban standing by his limo. Jo marched down the steps and over to the Limo, the others filing behind her.
Laoban turned to face her. "Yes?"
"You know what's going on," Jo said, "or at least you have a clue. Where is Sei going?"
"That's not your concern." He started to turn away.
Sei grabbed Laoban's shoulder. His bodyguards moved, but Jo drew one of her guns and aimed it at them. Meg and Leo came over and had their own guns out, covering Jo.
"I know who you are," Jo said, "and I don't care! Two of my friends - including your granddaughter - are going into a death trap. If I can't save them, I'll come after you. This all has to do with something Sei did nine or ten years ago. You know what it is!"
"And threatening me is supposed to get an answer out of me?"
Jo let go of him and lowered her gun a little. "Please," Jo grimaced.
Laoban turned to Leo. "Django was heading north along the coast?"
Leo nodded.
Laoban thought for a moment, then turned back to Jo. "I think I may know where you can start looking…"
